There is no open mongering scene in Buzios, although I'm seeing some online options now that weren't available just a few years back.

As to what to do in Buzios? It's a nature paradise. Beach-hopping, boat-cruising. The latter can get quite fun depending on the crowd, and we met some cool people on these sailings. Then there are tiny all-terrain vehicles they call "jippes," there are a lot of fun, can't leave the town limits, though.

Buzios is great for a few days. Anything longer, and I'd get bored.

You hit the nail on the head. Wifey up before going. Rio working girls love being invited to Buzios. The nightlife generally caters to young, affluent Brazilians. Trip Report.

So I spent the last few days with hotside girl # 2. We hit it really good together, and ended up spending a few days together. We stayed 3 days in Copacabana followed by 3 days in Ipanema. All that to just say that every experience is unique, and Rio for one is not the Rio for the others. Psycho girls are everywhere I assume, however I personally didn't met any in SEA yet, but did in Brazil fairly quickly. Unlucky maybe. Be very careful when choosing a girl for long long time, applicable globally not only to Brazil. A bit sad, but life continues and more experiences to come. Going to spend a few days to resource in Buzios before exploring Rio again for couple of days and then off to Sao Paulo. Lesson learned. Peace out.
