Was just at FN on a Tuesday and I have never seen this place so packed in the 7 years I've been coming here.
The casinos look empty but the saunas are full as fuck from talking to some of the fellas.
They can thank XJP for all this business.
100 percent agree! I am a Caucasian but keep a completely low profile in the saunas. When in Rome. All of that. It's a great relaxing experience and something to look forward to. Sometimes I even work in those when I need to focus on a special project, some have free wifi. One of my favorites is "Fun Fun sauna" aka Windsor, which is more or less across the road from Galaxy Starwood hotel in that complex of jewelry shops and what not behind the service station. Recently remodeled. It's on second floor. Quiet, good service, and good value, most of the service is from Vietnam. Been going there off and on for a few years. Occasionally I ask the girls how often they see a westerner, the say it's rare. I am guessing if any "frat boys " came and disturbed the peace they would get tossed out straight away. A good thing.
What's the going rates at this place?
IE: FN is 1788 for a visit + foot msg+90 min msg.

It was a shithole a year ago and talent was shit. Maybe owner work up and got rid of the old hags with bad attitudes finally and fixed the dump up as it needed it badly. Still I rather have more fun at the Viet Massaggi places by GDragon. That's my preference as this place Macau is more expensive than most any other monger destination by far. Shit spending 300 usd isn't my cup of tea if I can get a 3-1 or even 4-1 at other places. The food isn't worth it and I prefer to eat out.

This might have been answered earlier but I can't find it. I'm guessing paying in HKD in cash is fine in all the saunas? And can you pay with Mastercard in FN for example? I'll be in China for a few months starting next week and I know that cash is basically the only method of payment.
I'm guessing paying in HKD in cash is fine in all the saunas?
I think yes. I always read that HKD are well accept in Macau's Saunas.
I spent three days in Macau and tried the services of 3 well-known saunas. Here are my experiences:
1. 18 sauna.
Its reputation of having the best looking girls is without doubt. However, I wonder if the price is worth it. The line-up consists of mostly models which cost MOP2500; even the Viet girls cost MOP2400. I had a Chinese model. The service was of SOP quality; she just went through the routine. When it's done, she just left me lying on bed and disappeared into the shower. When she has finished, she urged me to get up to shower, dress and get out. Everything is so mechanical. No GF feel at all.
2. Darling 1.
This is a typical Thai massage place. There is no lounge and food. It has a good selection of girls, mainly Viets, not as pretty as 18 sauna, but cost only MOP1700. Chose a Viet who had a big smile. No rush and provided excellent service. GF feel throughout. I was told by the supervisor if I come in the evening, there will be more choices.
3. Familia Nobre.
I reckon this is the best of the three I visited. It has a nice lounge, spa and good food. For MOP1788, you get two free massages (which cost MOP186 each) on top of the full service. The line-up has a good selection, like Darling 1, consists of mainly Viets but of a higher quality. Again chose a Viet who provided excellent service with a relaxing body massage. Will definitely repeat.
I think yes. I always read that HKD are well accept in Macau's Saunas.
HKD is widely used in Macau except in Starbuck which insists on transaction in MOP. Don't bother changing it to MOP because you have to change it back to your own currency when you leave. The difference between buying and selling MOP will eat up your saving in using MOP instead of HKD.
Okay let me be more detailed, as I watched this more closely and found 3 scams which make me want to avoid 18 (except 18 has the best lineup).
1. Robe girls are really annoying and try to force a tip even though sign says "optional" they will tell you you must tip 100 or 200, those are the options. I'm sure they are not tips but the management squeezing customers so I do not believe girls get the money. $100 to hand you a towel?
2. Viet's are all working a scam doing backroom activities off the books. If you want it that's fine, but expect a noisy room, dodgy service, and have to pay cash off the bill. If you are going to do it, negotiate up front. Overall I find them annoying they are yapping all day while massaging you.
3. Big warning on add ons. The girls are priced say $2000 for normal, $2200 for models but the guy will show you a paper listing:
$2200 + $225= $2450 with some Chinese words on each, and he gets you to nod OK.
IF you pester to ask why its $2450 not $2200 as I did, he will say $2200 is girl, $225 is soap and some outfit, total is $2450.
The +$225 is a total ripoff. You get a tube of soap and some goofy outfit the girl doesn't even wear to sneak off another $225.
In fact when I questioned it, he took me to the side away from all other clientele to explain and I said remove that, and he did before going in.
I really love Macau due to lack of scams (compared to say Vegas, etc). Most other sauna are legit no scams, so this is a shame they are squeezing clients like this to make it feel so dodgy.
Also most of the 18 population suddenly are priced as models, similar to Rio. Used to be real models are tall, now anybody is a "model".
You are absolutely right. First of all, almost all the girls are models, even though they were good looking. I was shown a slip of paper stating the cost was $2520 but the price list clearly showed $2200 for a Chinese model which I chose. Also, the robe girls swoop on you handing you the robe and trousers, and demanded tips. I looked at her for a while and decided to give $20 which on hindsight was a bit too much for just handing me the clothes. It was a total scam. I would avoid 18 sauna at all costs.
Eddy.
I have been to Macau several times and have always taken the ferry from Hong Kong. On my upcoming trip I am flying into MFM. Since I normally buy my sauna vouchers at the ferry terminal in Hong Hong, I wanted to see if anyone can guide my on where I can buy vouchers at the Macau Airport.
My plan for this trip is to stay at the Grand Emperor and hit their sauna at the hotel (and possibly the KTV) on my first day, go to Darling during the afternoon on day two and then hit The One at the Landmark then finish at East Castle on night two.

I would try Houva but if you absolutely insist on over paying, then go to the ones you mentioned. LOL.
I like the Viet places around GD Hotel and they are very reasonable too. So the 6-7 k HKD you will spend going to the 3 you mentioned, I could have at least 8 cute V gals and have dinner money and lunch money too. JMHO.

PC out.
Hi PC, could you kindly provide details (e. G. , names, rates, locations) about the VN joints near Golden Dragon? As an alternative to FN, Hou Va, Darling 1 & 2, I'd like to check them out the next time I'm in town as I really like sweet young VN chicks! Thanks in advance bro.
I really like sweet young VN chicks! Thanks in advance bro.
Yeah thumbs up for those VN chicks! For a while, every time I went to Macau, I fell for those gorgeous Chinese working girls there. Then one day, I picked a VN girl from D1 (when they were at their old location) and I was stunned, excellent service to boot and just as pretty as the PRC chicks. Since then, I have been a convert to the VN camp.
I spent three days in Macau and tried the services of 3 well-known saunas.
I agree with you. I stopped going to 18 a long time ago. I just don't trust them anymore. I always has a great time at D1 with the lovely Viet chicks. I also enjoyed FN, East SPA, and not so much Rio. I have not tried the new ones as I have not been to Macau recently.
