First, a big thanks to all of the ISG active members both old and new! The weeks reading the forum leading up to my 10 day trip were.
Invaluable. But as theory and reports can only prep you so much, witnessing firsthand is the best way to learn imo. I got a bunch of my growing pains out over 3 days in Phuket and was stoked for Pattaya.
Pattaya: day 1: posting these all in aeries sorry guys. I made notes at night / after the event when possible but my mongering holiday did not afford much free time.
So I wasn't sure where to start, went to walking street and was a kid in a candy shop on walking street. It's hard to envision the hours of the Chinese tourists that are described until you actually see them. Glad they clear out when the nights start getting good around midnight.
Hit Walking Street around 10 pm and started at a beer bar (I'll tell you somewhere behind Frog Bar) and took an instant interest in a stunning spinner that dominated me in connect four. I'm not a sucker for getting my ass handed to me in Lady drinks (learned that in Phuket), but she was cool about (pt for her) just playing for fun. Had my fun there and had better luck with their spin on jenga and that dice game. The bar fine was 1500, but dropped to 600 at midnight. With 2 hrs to go, I figured I'd go scope out other prospects and come back. , went straight to Baccara. A lot of girls in there but didn't see anything that I had to have. Went into Ibar / insomnia, meh. With so many places left to hit, my buddy decided he was tired and bailed on me. With 15 minutes to midnight I went back to beer bar, and saw her talking to another customer. It's ok I took a gamble and lost. I left and went to skyfall. There I was seated next to a very nice girl who I bought a lady drink after she talked / danced with me for a good 10 minutes. Never asking, I was impressed with her vigor so said what the hell. Well that equated to an intense grinding that beat the shit out of any lap dance I ever experienced back in my dumb college years. At this point, I was feeling a little tired myself, and didn't think I'd get the full LT potential with this thai Gina Lynn in her 30's. Had 2 rounds of drinks with her, then excused myself. Just remember that these girls are working for a reason, they need money. You will send her money every month possibly but she will continue working, even if she tells you otherwise. She possibly already has a few guys already sending her money thinking she is exclusive to them. Keep it casual and enjoy your time with her when you are in Pattaya but keep it at that. Nothing wrong with a little R & R every few months with this girl. Great to see your trip was so successful.

I knew the shuttle back to Pattaya would be 1000 or less depending on the method she chose. I gave her what I had, and it appeared to surprise her, but maybe she expected it all along.
I doubt you are wrong, but spot on rather. I'll be the first to admit that one of my flaws has and probably always will be falling head over heels for someone a bit too quickly. The fact that she was hot and being in the land of smiles for the first time definitely contributed to the euphoria. My buddies always joked that I'm a "premature proposer". Hooking at Airport Club provides 30,000 (about US $850, and I'm assuming this is base salary from the club, so those 3500 long-time barfines must surely be appealing to the dancers. I, too, wonder about repeating if I visit within their normal Patts life cycle of a few months. But. Prolly. Nah. One turnoff is her bitching about an Australian sponsor calling it quits and suggesting that, for money, she remain at the agogo. When I commiserated (in person) over the fathers' dereliction of duty, she defended the scoundrels. Go figure. And this is one of the smarter ones.

You find a cute one, then you think if you go to one more bar, you will find a cuter one, and often you don't so you go search for another, or like you, work your way back to the first girl and find she is gone. It is then late and / or you are tired and you just give up.
Keep in mind that the 900 baht you saved is just $26! I have lost out on a few hotties for the same reasons, and sitting here at home in small town USA right now, I am not thinking how much better off I am because I went back to my hotel alone and saved a few bucks I will never miss.

My first visit was in 2014 and I met someone who I felt extremely head over heels for we texted, whatsapp, video called you name it.
Never did she once bring up money BTW. In fact I was so infatuated that I booked a trip before I was on the airplane heading back home a couple of months later. I even went as far as to consider dropping my then GF back home now wife for her. Then I spoke to a couple of people including some here on the forum and here are my findings and I hope they help:
1) unfortunately some guys more than other always relate sex to love, conditioning in psychology, so you think you are in love with her.
2) this experience will put things into perspective for you it will certainly do wonders to the previous notion of sex=love.
3) talking about it helps, as you already did on the forum.
4) nothing wrong with maintaining friendships there as long as YOU are in control of your feelings AND wallet.
5) not all girls although they might seem like it are programmed to take your money only. They are human after all and hence you shouldn't only think that it's a business transaction.

The big advantage of a regular hooker is you get good sex when you expect it. With a long term GF you don't get sex when you expect it. Do you want the girl so much that lack of sex does not matter?
You judge girls by what they do and not what they say. It takes at least 2 years to start to know the real personality and longer if you are apart a lot. Bad things are well hidden at first.
"Fast proposer" That is real scary.
Worst thing to do is to acquire a GF too fast. Slow down before do crazy things. Give it lots of time to consider things more rationally. Hopefully some other guy will act too fast and save you from the wrong girl. Girls are looking for some nice guy to look after them.
If I never had any wives or GFs I would be a rich man and would have had a much better paid only sex life.
All girls that seemed fabulous at first seem not so wonderful a few years down the track. They get bored with us and we get bored with them.
