The last time I was in Thailand during Songkran was in 2008, and I was pretty sure things on ground this time would be vastly different from my memory of Songkran in Pattaya. I was both right and wrong at the same time.

I was right about the fact that Songkran has nothing to do with availability and price of pussy. I was wrong about the notion I carried that over the years the madness would have sobered down a bit. After all, this it is a time of mourning for the Thais. Add to it the recent LE crackdowns fuelled by scathing news reports in international media about Pattaya and its vices. But I was wrong. And how!!

I had booked a deluxe room with pool facing balcony at Areca Lodge on Soi Diana. I managed to get a great deal from the hotel. A separate report with the details can be found in the Pattaya – Hotels thread, so that the trip narrative stays focused. For those who are not interested in details, a quick summary:

Number of nights / days – 4.

Number of chicks banged – 10 (with one repeat).

Money spent on girls / barfine – 20,700.

Day (Night) 1 – 12 Apr.

I flew into Suvarnabhumi from Singapore on an evening flight that landed in BKK at 7 pm. Now that is peak time for arrivals and I knew there would be a massive jam at immigration. But thanks to the best kept secret of Suvarnabhumi, I was out of immigration and baggage collection within 12 minutes of landing. I had booked a taxi to Pattaya through VR Taxi Service. Very reliable chap this Keak who runs the service. He charged me 1200 thb this time, said it's Songkran and it's hard to find a driver. I reached the hotel and checked in by 9. 15 pm and took a nice hot shower.

And here is when the fun starts. I had arranged for 3 girls to meet me at the Areca bar at 10 pm, 10.30 pm and 11 pm. The plan was to get a ST done with one of the three girls and then head out to look for LT prospects. I had arranged 3 girls purely for back-up. One might not turn up, the other might not be a replica of her pics, the third might not agree to my needs. Thus, 3 for safety. But as luck would have it, neither of the 3 girls were replying to my messages. It was now nearly 10.45 pm so I decided to trash the plan and play by ear. So I went to Kiss and got some grub and went to Payagayo. No specific reason, except that in a few previous reports the place had received some worthy mentions. Got in, got a drink and scouted the talent on stage and on the floor. Mamasan is a bit pushy, I must say. But within 20 minutes I spotted a chick who was 7. 5 in my books. Called her over for a drink and quickly made my intentions clear. Barfine was 800, steep in my opinion for a place like Papagayo. I agreed, paid the bill and went back to my room with her. No discussion about payment to the girl. Back in the room, the girl was outstanding in bed. A solid 8. It got me thinking about extending her stay at Areca. I asked her if she wanted to stay overnight and she agreed. But she also suggested we go out dancing. I am not much of a competition to Fred Astaire but I went with the flow since the girl was really nice and I wanted her in a good mood for the rest of our time together. She took me by bike-taxi to some local Thai disco somewhere off 3rd road. I think I was the only non-Thai inside that place. Spent a while there and returned by 3 am. We showered together this time and went to town again. I finally fell asleep, fully spent, by around 5 am. She woke me at 10 am with the morning wood services that I love so much. Finished up and lazed in bed for an hour more. Finally the time came to send her on her way, so I handed her 2000 plus 200 in tips and kissed her goodbye. Like most girls she asked me to visit her again at the bar to which I nodded and said maybe.

Day 2 – 13 Apr.

After she left I stepped across to Robin's Nest for some food. The food is just passable here. After this the madness of Songkran began. I headed to Soi 7 first to view and possibly participate in the water wars. I got completely drenched in ice cold water even before I could exit Soi Diana and reach 2nd Road. And Soi 7 was a warzone. Very crowded, mostly locals from the province roaming around in gangs having fun in playing with water. And the bars were packed too. I got accosted at one of the bars by two cute girls. I stopped for a drink. The girls asked for drinks but I countered by asking if they would do ST. They said they wanted to play now and later maybe we can go later. I was in no mood to buy drinks without a definitive reply, so I refused the request for drinks, finished mine and headed to Soi 6 where such interaction would be viewed as nonsense.

At 2 pm, Soi 6 was no less insane. None of the bars has the girls in any sort of uniform, which is a trademark of the bars there. Most were simply having a good time playing Songkran with customers and with each other. I stopped first at Sexy in the City and joined the troops there in their sole mission of drenching people who are already soaking wet. It was a couple of cute chicks there that made me pick that bar. So after a couple of hours I asked one of those girls to go up for a ST. She nodded and off we went. 350 for barfine and room. 1000 for the girl. No surprises here. You can see what you will get and you get what you see. After the romp, I hung out a bit longer and by 5 pm I started walking back to Areca via Beach Road. We did not get drinks there as the smoke cloud hanging over our heads was too strong to ignore. I looked at the time and I could not believe my eyes. It was almost 4 am. So I insisted we go back. We grabbed some street food and went back to the room, showered and jumped into bed. And this is where this little 21 yo totally blew my mind with her bedroom skills. I would rate her skills at 9. Now after round 1 I was really sleepy, but I knew that if I slept then I would not wake up before noon and this girl might slip out before round 2. So I stayed up and chatted with her for another hour and then got into the act again. This time I took a very long time to come and when I did it was a morning protein shake for the girl. It was now 8 am so I slipped 2000 into the girl's bag and sent her away. I could see she wanted to stay but if she stayed I would not be able to sleep, so I had to let her go and get some shut eye. I made a mental note to go back to get her on this trip again and fell asleep.

Day 3 14 Apr.

Played for a few hours again, dividing my time between Night Wish and Toy Box at one end and Kawaii and Butterfly at another.

Around 5 pm I went back to Night Wish for a ST with one of the cuties I had spotted earlier in the day. Again the math and routine is the same. The Night Wish group now owns 14 bars on the strip with a 15th ready to open in a few weeks. Quite a thriving business. I came back to the hotel by 6 pm, showered and slept for a couple of hours. Woke up and started hitting the GOGO bars. Two on LK Metro and 3 on WS. Paradise and Office on LK. Skyfall, Sensations, and Wildcats on WS.

Paradise was nothing like the pics you see on Facebook. A lot of girls in their late 20's or early 30's. Did not stay for more than a drink.

Office was OK but the girls had too many clothes on that did not look like coming off anytime soon, so I left after a drink.

Skyfall was disappointing. It was a pale shadow of its former self, lacking terribly in quality and quantity of girls. Even the so called model girls were quite sad and most of them had fake titties. I could be wrong but I thought I detected a LB too on stage.

[/QUOTE]I think this demonstrates something important. A girl does not have to be behaving well "over the top" to be good on the bed, after inhibitions relaxed somewhat by a few drinks. I am suspicious of girls immediately too wildly enthusiastic with me, since it has to be acting. Takes some time to build a bit of chemistry and feel relaxed. I don't really like girls transformed by a few drinks into complete sluts either, or into rampaging girls, where I know other guys go for as raunchy as possible. It is much more normal for girl to be hot for it behind closed doors.

This was a very smart move on your part. It weeds out those who are not just starfish, but just doing the bare minimum in the bedroom. Some bars are lecturing girls to do their job and sell a few drinks before they get BFed, some bars even have rules for it. Girls may have drinks quotas to make to avoid losing significant parts of the monthly salary in fines. Girls with no salary don't care so much perhaps.

Many girls can be significantly better more passionate fucks after 2 or 3 drinks, if have not as yet consumed any alcohol. Go to the bar when the girls have already had a few can be the cheap option. I am surprised you choose Kiss over Robins Nest. To me Robins Nest has some of the best breakfast in Pattaya, while Kiss is pretty much too greasy everything except for the steamed fish.
