Its mostly dead at this point. Of the bars, Baires is open (strip club) and is asking for a 300 entrance fee. Ricas is free entry, and there were 2 girls inside (a 6 and a 7) and not really worth the time. Nice people though. Its rather depressing walking through the city at night. There's apparently a Korean place on ciudadela behind the Radisson- its next to the second Korean restaurant there, which is a hole in the wall but quite good food. I found this site when researching a trip earlier this year when I was in Buenos Aires. I took a two day trip to Montevideo, but not much of a trip report to post since I visited on a Sunday and Monday. What I did see is that there is a lot of potential opportunities as indicated by those that posted from their trips. The "Pocito" area is a nice place to stay but a little bit away from the sites shown on the maps in the above site.
