Was just 2 days in belgrad

A lot of beatiful women, got approached like 4 times by women but when they heard that I don't speak Serbian, they kind of lost interest. Didn't try to prolong these conversations so I don't know if they would have maybe reacted defensive.

A lot of women are really tall, I'm 1. 9 m but I think thats the minimum to even get noticed by girls because there are so many tall guys around.

And there seems too be a strong pressure by the society to behave right as a women.

Saw a group of serbians men and women, who were waiting for a men and women who were behind like 20 meter and these starting kissing and the others were shouting things about it. As if it would be unnormal to kiss in public if you are not married- really strange.

All in all most women were too tall for my taste, always looked if they wore highheels but they didn't-and they seemed all a bit too serious.compared to romania where I stayed before, romania wins in all points.

Now both Republics now reduced in size & population will join the EU in the future.

I don't do Politics or religion, but to me this is clear case of Dirty Politics with vested interests.

Jojosun, enjoy your many interesting and valuable contributions in a number of threads, but strongly suggest that you not repeat in Montenegro or to Montenegrins that they have a majority of Serbs there.

While only 800,000 in population, Montenegrins have a very firm view of their place in the world and of Serbia. :-)

They can become very worked up about this and besides they are some of the tallest people in Europe.

I guess I must have only listened to the Serbian point of view. Not been to Montenegro.

But going by official census for Montenegro, 63. 49% of the population speak Serbian of the Lyekavian dialect.

Only 21. 96% of the population speak Montenegran

The Number of Population fluctuate wildly from census to census, According to how people Express their indentity.

43. 16% Montenegrans, 31. 99% Serbian.

So the figures are not clear cut & not set in Stone. It could have been sexed up as well.

Like I said I don't do politics or religion anywhere (I leave it to the Crooks &Fanatics), but I thought some of the Former Balkan states are having Identity crises, as reflected to their attitude to mongering with foreigners & and among themselves.

With regards to the language quoted, there is very little other than dialect and some old words between the two. Either side who intermix all the time in Serbia, immediately recognize the origins of the other even if by 6th sense.

If there is a boys dinner laid on in Belgrade and there is a mix even if they are best of friends and work colleagues you will usually find one side of the table with the Serbs and the other side the Montenegrans even if they were born in Serbia and one or more (preferably the Father) is Montenegran.

It is fun to watch.

Perhaps a better illustration would be to call a proud Scottish person "English" as they share the same/similar language. :-))
