Cost of living has gone up
A few days ago I took a beach road freelancer that I had taken almost exactly 10 years ago in 2007. She still looked pretty much the same, and hadn't stacked on the kilos like some of the other chicks who I used to take 10 yrs ago.
As a price comparison, in 2007 I paid 500 baht for her ST services. Now in 2017 she quoted me 800 baht. I ended up trying to bargain a 700 baht price with her but she stood firm on her 800 baht price point. As she was on my bucket list to try this trip I agreed to her price and we headed off to the same ST room we used 10 yrs ago. The ST room charges 120 baht. Back in 2007 it charged 100 baht.
Doing some calculations, and even though pussy prices are rounded to the nearest 100 baht, the price for this girls services has increased by 4. 8% per annum over the last 10 years. Now looking at the CPI (consumer price index) data for Thailand, the CPI has increased by 2% per annum in the last 10 yrs. However when I look at food price inflation data, this has increased by 4. 3% per annum.
So I would suggest that the prices of chicks on BR are subject to the normal forces of economic supply and demand and that they would track food price inflation? Luckily, food price inflation in Thailand has been trending down over the last few yrs and is now slightly negative, so my expectation is that pussy price inflation will not be an issue in the coming yrs?
I have seen similar price increase over the last five years (traveling there from US) but similarly housing, hotel and other cost of living has gone up over the same period of time.
