However, any punter who assumes that this is what an average girl will deliver if you just agree on "ST" (and don't specify the details) is going to be sorely disappointed.
Even back in the golden days (10+ years ago), ST was generally one pop, although the girls were in much less of a rush when going about that pop, were not as quick to leave, and sometimes allowed the 2nd pop without prior agreement or explicit negotiation of extra money.

This chick came over the other day. She works in R&D in a pharmaceutical company in Bangkok and comes here for extra money. She can only do ST because she stays with a friend when she is here and the neither the friend nor her family knows what she is doing. Even when she was here the friend kept messaging her because she told her she was going to eat and was not back yet.

Seems weird since if she does work at the position she claims (and is not a cleaning lady at the office), she probably makes 30 k-70 k / month or so. I have a Thai friend who's a pharmacy manager and clearing 200 k. Might be some other factor at play, like excitement, or she's simply not truthful about the day job.

She saw me taking ibuprofen and said I should not be taking that if I am not sure that I don't have dengue because it could kill me. Told me I should take paracetamol. (When I went to the doctor the next day that was one thing he gave me.) Then she started talking about the different types of mosquitos. I was looking that shit up as she was talking about it. That is when she told me about her job in the lab and she comes here for extra money.

I thought thai wages were relatively high and it was the oppressed ladies from isaan that work as hookers because thai society won't accept them. Kind of like a sub class of thai people and the thai bang them too.

In Thailand, unlike in the west, highly skilled jobs (engineers, scientests, researchers) are about has "high paying" as accountants, which is generally low as they are seen as worker mules more than shepherds (managers). I think that with Thai corporate culture, the boss / owners make the good money and everyone else has to be quite below that.

The powers that be don't see it as a problem, the middle-class don't mind that much, that some other group of people are getting screwed by foreigners. Whereas Koreans are appalled at the idea of foreigners (even nearby Japanese, who they historically hate) would access their brothels.

The boss / owner makes exponentially more than the employees. Check out the compensation details for CEOs of Fortune 50 companies. They run into several millions, plus stock, perks, bonuses, etc.
And frankly I don't see anything wrong with it.
