i went to try out the three moon spa (三月养生会) along jianguo west road. i found the place from some of the japanese dm magazines which you can pick up at some of the japanese resturants in shanghai. some fellow mongers also reported about this place in previous post, so i decided to give it a try. check previous post for the address.

Yes, tried many. 100% of them are fake. It's a roll of the dice in terms of looks, and service. I've had some ok ones, and some absolutely awful ones.

As for the World Expo and crackdowns in Shanghai. For the few weeks I was in Shanghai and mongered here for the first time, I visited saunas, MPs and BBS.
