I think it asks what your country of origin is and then just gives you flights from that country. I think also, it asks for like a province or somethign and then rejects it when you put in your state.

asia.com is a good site but after traveling to BKK from LAX 5 times last year I found that the best prices were, by far, on China Airlines webpage. Anytime you use a generic site such as asia.com, expedia, travelocity, etc. You pay the airfare plus their fee. I found that booking straight through on China Airlines website not only saved me money but also gave more flight options. Try it out. It might work for you.

It might work for you.[/QUOTE]I had a buddy who just flew on China Airlines to BKK through Bejing and he tells me of a scam wherein everone just transiting on through was required to go through immigaration in China and pay $100 for a visa. He made a big fuss, being an attorney and refused to pass through customs since he was in transit to BKK. He said the everyonne but he and another Canadian couple next to him went through immigration. He states that after he made a fuss abd requested supervisors that he and the other couple were quickly and quitely taken through immigration outside the presence of other passengers. Have you encountered this? Just thought I'd post for information purposes. He flew out of SFO in December 2006.

I thought you meant Asia Airlines.

Of course, going directly to the specific airline's web page is generally the best way to book.

I use sites like mobissimo, etc. to find the airlines, then go to the airlines to book.

Plucked from Nana Plaza's Playskool. Quoted 600 baht ST, 1500 BT LT, which seemed very reasonable even at the late hour of 1:30 AM. Later she tried to claim that she had said 2000 ST, which was bollocks. I held my ground, just disappointed that an otherwise sweet girl had tried to hustle me, and she gave up without much fuss.

Just got back from BKK and Phuket (will post on there on Phuket board).

Well I had a great time!! On the first night, I took newbie friends to nana plaza and as it was 2 days after the NYE bombings it was dead, which meant there were alot of girls to choose from! Sadly, I decided to leave the temptations in order to show my friends the infamous Angels Disco in the nana hotel, so imagine my surprise that it had shut at 2am that night due to the bomb scares! I went for the cheaper option, but was then nearly decapitated when her Buddha necklace snagged on my cock as she went down on me!! Buddha did not condone women going with strangers but said that fellatio was unclean- well she obviously didnt read the scriptures but the incident put me off having a great time!

Thankfully I found time to visit Akane the next day and it was excellent. I was the only farang there as it mainly caters for Japanese and Koreans and I went for the 90 mins, 2 girl service which was great. Always best to be sure than to be sorry later.
Legal age is 18 , but since thais are born at age 1, best if gal is 19 on ID.
If she looks too young, always make sure she has ID. If she says dont have then forget it. If you cant read it, then have the hotel desk check for you BEfore you go upstairs.
There was a post earlier on how to read a Thai ID, just have to search back abit.

you must check her id before you even think about paying her barfine... yes, i am sure some of these girls are a little ****, especially sw or nana parking lot.

although the thais love **** girls, this is a very serious offence and if you get caught you can be assured a nice holiday @ the bangkok hilton (prison).

Look for the holigram. A schoogirl haircut could be a clue something isn't right. If the pic doesn't match or if it is a beat up ID, or something doesn't seem right do not take chances. If she wants to bring a friend w/o ID just walk. Major enforcement has been underway because girls will not want to finish school if they can make as much money working the bars as a college professor. Up around Kao San road they make great phony IDs, and I know several Thais with teenage daughters over 6' tall so watch your ass!
