Having said that, I finally got bored with them. This last trip I had some free time and visited some BGs in Nana and Patpong, including a long-time fave at Pink Panther. The problem was, after about 30 seconds, we were out of things to say, except for my fave because we can discuss old times. I'm tired of "Where you flom," "How many baby." No criticism of the girls, it's the way it is. They have minimal education and it's hard to find a BG who can carry on an intelligent conversation. I've found them, they're just rare.

So, a BG can be a lot of fun, and some can even provide a good bedroom experience. But marrying one? Guys who do deserve what they get.

Never said they were "inferior." You are putting words in my mouth. I said, most bring little to the table. Sex is not enough when it comes to a relationship, especially when they expect you to take care of their parasitic family. There are lots of gals out there in their early to mid-30s with degrees and who are not looking for a host to support their families.

Asian guys get it; working girls are working girls and that is great, but you don't marry one. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

I treat working girls well and expect the same in return. Unfortunately that reciprocation is getting harder to find. I am amazed at how rude many gals are in gogo bars these days. They pull stuff they would never attempt on a Thai guy. Listen to them talking (if you know a little Thai and Isaan it helps) and you will see how little they think about most of their customers. It is all "buy me drink, pay bar, or I go."

I would say that cultural differences do make a difference but socio-economic class differences cause as many problems. Coming from a similar class helps a relationship along. No doubt.

Like you, I know several couples who fit your above description, but they are in the minority.

About money, remove it from the equation and then what do you have? Yes, some will stay with you if you fall on hard times, but still, I think they are in the minority. Given equal circumstances most all Thai women would rather have a relationship with someone from their own culture. Truth be told, sometimes I would as well, especially when it comes to the issue of language. I know some very fluent English speaking Thais (where English is the second language) , and no matter how fluent they are they still lack the ability to pick subtleties, humor, sarcasm, etc. Contrast that to a friend who has a highly educated gal from the 'Pines who gets and can make jokes, and you can take her to an art house film and discuss it with her afterwards. So yes, having things in common is important, and some of those things I would like to have in common with a gal here are really very difficult to find.

I am not a big lover of ST but on the other hand, LT eventually includes some sort of talking and that is when one gets bored. Conversations at the bar can still keep a certain pace, with jokes, sort of flirting tocheck the chemistry, a bit of fun etc. But once in the room. Even if one does not want to elaborate the world economy some sort of talks have to take place.

Is that the reason why girls switch on TV and watch it, to avoid the need of talking (as they can't)?

I don't bother. Stick my head into spankys and angel witch nothing of interest. Go back up and look into billboard. Girls in tub but nothing looking hot. Lasvegas is closed. All the way down. To playschool. I like the place. Have a couple of beers, girls best here so far. Then to rainbow 1. Not allowed in. Members. WTF. Ok I move to lollypop, no interest. Then red lips, and pretty lady, a beer there each. Not bad but not great. Now the rounds are done and I can go to the top on the list to pick up some nice ladies. Ohh yeah holly word was night if I remember correctly. I go to rainbow 2 not let in. Members. So walk up to rainbow 4. Members. Ok now I'm a little fucking annoyed with these thai guy mother fucking racist bouncers. I can be racist too you useless pricks. (I'm indian by the way) I was so hoping to pick up a girl from rainbow 4 or 2 which I remember from my last trip were the best places to go in nana. Fuck it. I always thought soi cowboy was better in terms of atmosphere and girls. And never feltany racism there.

Head to soi cowboy with one of the few honest meter going taxi drivers in BKK. On the main road side now. Make my way to long gun, and raw hide. A beer in each, then to de javu. I like this place. But there is still tilac and baccara which are my favorites. Get to cowboy 2. Worst bar on earth. But I am drunk and the mamasan drags me in. Long story short I have another 10 beers there mayhbe and but the whole place drinks and dance on the stage, and smoke indoors. Basically fuck myself. Bill is 16, 000 its not wrong I really was that stupid. So much for taking a girl home that night. The ugly mamsan is so drunk too she is trying t stick her tongue down my throat and I am pushing her away. She want to come home with me. 500 bhat. I would not do this woman if you gave me a million dollars. Stumble out but some chicken and rice which tastes like heaven walked home and got my sorry ass into bed. Fuck 17 hours in BKK and not 1 lay.

I hope the rainbow 2, 3.4 change attitude. I'm a big spender. So don't pigeon hole races. And fuck you for now rainbow management.

Ill give them 1 more chance on my next visit.

Finallly I'm tempted by lady boys. Not because I'm tempted by lady boys, but because I saw some who were serioualy beautiful women. That doesn't make me gay right. Anyway I'm not that adventurous.

They happen to be some of the nicest girls I have met in Thailand. Most have families and are just trying to make a living. I also find that they speak much better English than an office worker.
