Novotel in the airport area does not seem to offer any entertainment and outcalling an escort will cost you a fortune in logistic.

You may want to go to town, Soi 4 Nana plaza, pick up a freelancer and have a couple of hours of fun in a nearby ST hotel. All in all is probbaly the best option.

MP's seem to be closed by the time you will be in Sukhumvit area (or before on the way from the airport) unless some fellow monger has some better information

Novotel is your Best Bet as the Closest place to the Airport.

They also have a BEST WESTERN not far.

My advice: Don't waste your time in Traffic and all that crap. Book a Mango girl to your hotel that way you maximise the time with her. Don't waste your time and money in Taxis.

By the time you get to Nana Plaza in Cab = 400 thb.

ST Hotel = 400Thb.

Lady for ST = 2, 000 thb (1 shot)

Taxi Back = 400 thb

TOTAL = 3, 200 thb.

Takeout From Mango for All night = 3, 000.

This hotel is very near the airport and is quite decent (their Double Rooms are good value for money at 1000 baht per night). The rooms are clean and modern, not very large, but not too small either (though, the bathroom is small in the "Double Room", with just a shower and no bathtub). No joiner fee there if your room is at least a "Double Room".

One can find a few bars and nightclubs in the vicinity (check their "Local Entertainment" section) , but it's nothing comparable with NEP or Soi Cowboy, of course.

This hotel has everything I need for about 50 $/night :

As reported earlier in this threat it is guest friendly and it is close to Soi Cowboy (5-10 minutes walk).

Also has a good pool area, free WiFi, good breakfast and the rooms are nice with good matress and free coffee / mineral water. Breakfast is incuded in a. M. Rate.

The only negative point, if any at all, is the location. It is in a side street of Soi 23 and it's quite dark when you lurch back from Soi Cowboy. Maybe not recommendable for newbies, but no problem for experienced mongers.

Anybody knows about " The AETAS ", they've published that it's closer to a BTS station and closer.

Any feedback on them would be cool

They didn't say anything when I took 3 ladies concurrently up to bed one night.

Didn't notice any problem lurching back from Soi Cowboy. I guess I was absolutely sober though.

Couldn't believe the size of my room with lounge and kitchen for a very modest rate. Perhaps I got a free upgrade when they recognised my face.

Hi all,

I might have to transit in Bangkok for a night but I might think of extending 2-3 nights depends.

But I was there last year during April and hotels in BKK were 2-3 times more expensive as compared to Pattaya.

Also the bars were selling drinks at 200 baht up although in Pattaya there were bars which offered drinks as cheap as 80 baht I'm talking about gogos or even some of the bars.

Have the prices gone down this year?

Shama Hotel on Soi 2. Has introduced a 1000 Bhat ovenight visitor fee. But being that the front desk staff is sleeping when I walk in 3am I guess they will be missing out from me.
