What happens to the famous Thermae? I went there Fri night around 3am and the door was locked.
OS
LOL. It closes at 1 AM
BTW, a lot of times as I leave Thermae, I see a gal standing outside who looks like she's 60, is she a working girl?

Odd jobs and watching their stuff.
A few weeks ago, I visted Soi Cowboy once more and went straight to Suzie Wong, my favourite place in that street. I arrived a bit early, around 9PM but the club was aready half filled. The mamasan showed me to a nice spot, close to the entrance on the left side. This is a good spot as all girls have to pass there when going on and off stage.
As usual in Suzie Wong the girls "dance" naked and it seems they have two groups of girls: one group wearing black fishnet stockings and the other group wearing red fishnet stockings. There is something there for everyone: small tits or bigger tits, shaved pussies or trimmed or bushy, younger or older girls, long hair or short hair, tattoos or not. This time I had set my fancy on a small tits, trimmed pussy, long haired lady and there were indeed several to choose from. I made eye contact with some of these, some appeared not to notice me, some other smiled back and one came straight to me after her dance routine, wearing nothing but her fishnet stockings.
Her name is Tun (or Toon).35 year old (but looking late 20s) , no kids. I could see and feel she has small and firm tits with big nipples (my favourite) , a firm body but not skinny and a nice pussy with its hair trimmed into a landing strip. I offered her a lady drink and she came back with "whiskey" which I suspect was just cola with ice and water because when I kissed her I could taste no alcohol on her.
<CUT
This was once more a memorable fuck with a girl from Suzie Wong. All in all, I have never been disappointed by them: just don't negotiate them down to bargain basement prices but give them a fair fee; treat them nicely both inside the club and in your room and there is a good chance they will give you a good time.
Its my favourite too now that Sheba has closed. There are many girls there are okay for me, above average looks without being stunning. If my favourites don't show its tougher though. There are plenty of very young girls that I don't consider, silicones I don't consider, and fatties also stuck off. Good Performers for me: Bo, Not, Dtom, Naam, Ma, and a couple of others. Anne is stuck off due to the double D enhancements, Dteuan struck off as too selfish, and Lai struck off (despite great body) due to too much acting and bullshit. Ex favourites Noi and Nit have been away long time. Might ring Noi to see how she is doing and when she might return.
I don't say this bar has the best looking girls, but it does have a lot of good realiable girls that do not dissappoint, and I prefer to see them naked. I also finfd this the best place to select a double team.
The two names I was supposed to reveal for Paul I think, was Bo and Dtom, both older and very experienced girls, lacking tits but curvy and great lesbian performers and a great double team. I think Bo is away for a few days just now. Bo works well with nearly anybody. She is really into sexy girls and Dtom claims to be the most skilled clit licker in the place. Double team blow jobs are really great. I like some much older girls too. Dtom looks young, slim and has a very tight pussy, but is probably over 30. She worked Sheba for a while before but SW before that.
Some time ago the two groups were the naked group and the not so naked group. Now they are all required to be totally naked apart from stockings, this is improvement. There are an excessive number of very young girls now. This caters to the Japanese who are fantasizing that they take the girl's virginity and make her scream as they ram her tiny pussy. Possibly the two groups may now be split by age group. There are two sisters there. One is "Not" who I like and has a kid but is just barely legal age. I dare not contemplate her younger but slightly bigger sister even though has a great body.
I won't name the excessively cute girl at SW now, as she is far too busy already. I had to BF her in a hurry to be sure she would not get stolen away. They say sometimes she has up to 4 customers coming for her at the same time, and then she has a stress to decide who has to be dissappointed, or maybe its just whoever BFs first, wins. I have her number so can ring her to line her up so to speak, to avoid missing out. She doesn't like to do doubles but is so cute, it doesn't matter.
Some girls drink a lot of Tequillas (as this is a designated lady drink - I think its special sweetened tequila), but possibly whiskey isn't (I'm not sure) , so few girls are into whiskey, I think. A cola is a "lady drink". Sometimes a Side Line girl may not care about drink commision as has no quota to meet (no salary too) and then will drink anything she pleases. Some girls do not like to drink alcohol at all, most days. Others are drunk every day. So I think its better to ask the girl what she wants to drink but not let her have too much alcohol.
The world is also not same as before."Once upon a time", expats were the travellers, were those who saw new countries, sort of front line combats, flying to SEA was regarded as being an explorer.
There was no internet spreading news, informing and suggesting.
Today hundred times more people travels around the world. Emirates alone brings in 5 planes a day into BKK and one or two are A380 machines, plus a few european airlines, plus Qatar, plus Ethihad, Turkish, not to mention the increasing traffic from SEA and OZ / USA. Emirates has a daily flight to Phuket.
All these visitors are not the "expat" type, of course. They are tourists, visiting the country and a percentage is still the "monger-tourist", but it is a mass of them now (as much as the recession reduced a bit the numebrs)
It goes without saying it is more of an industry (everything now) , so there is a sort of industrial approach.
Yep, sad really. Glad I made it here and got to see the end of "pre-industrial" P4P in Thailand. Still love BKK though. So much else besides the P4P, and hey the oilies are still fun for a romp.

I would go to places like Cahuita, Cartegena, Medellin, Cali, Trujillo and Santa Cruz and discover things for myself. I never knew what I was going to find. Sometimes the place was a bust and I would move on quickly and other times the payoff was immense and I would settle in for a while. Working girls were unspoiled back then and free or very inexpensive. There was a thrill and excitement to travel back in the day. Travel was synonymous with exploration and it was much more adventurous pre-internet than it is today. Distant places felt exotic and they were. I think we have lost something. Bangkok in the late 60's and early 70's must have been a really special place. My first visit to BKK was in '89. I also traveled to Phuket then. I had a great time, but I knew I had missed the golden age.

And I am sore folks in the 60s were just happy with a lousy cock-lick. Was the world as raunchy and open as it is today? Don't think so.

Cambodia in the late 90s right after the coup was quite fun as well.

Don't think so.
Girls were plenty sexed up back in the day and I think more involved in the fantasy of having a white boyfriend. I can't speak of Thailand personally since I was not there, but the South American working girls I knew in the 70's gave it up to me for free back then and they loved to be fucked. I still remember my first SA girl; Mercedes, a beautiful black girl I hung out with in Cartagena for two weeks. The sex was amazing. She taught me how to perform doggy among other things. Now, I am no longer a young man and cannot service a woman like Mercedes 5x in a night like in the old days, but I am better in bed than I ever was and I enjoy female companionship now more than ever too. I have mellowed some. So don't get me wrong. I like it today too. I am not complaining really. I have worked hard over the years and have achieved the financial wherewithal to get what I want when I want it. Nothing can stop me from having a good time and good times can definitely be had in Thailand even today.
In fact, I will probably move to Thailand after certain family obligations allow me to do so. I can't think of a place I would rather be. Still I do have a certain nostalgia for the way things used to be pre internet and pre communication revolution. Aside from hairy pussy, I think we have lost something. Travelling was more adventurous albeit less comfortable than it is now. But you are right. We have gained something too. I remember the first time I came upon the ISG forum. I couldn't believe all the information readily available on my computer screen. What a time saver and a convenience. I am thinking of Mick's soapy parlor review. It would have taken me months to gather all that collective experience the old way. But look out, on top of loss of adventure and over-development of natural areas of beauty like Thai island beaches; we have airport screenings and security delays, swine flu, girls with smartphones on Facebook just to mention a few problems that have cropped up. Modern travel is great, but it comes with a cost.
It goes without saying it is more of an industry (everything now) , so there is a sort of industrial approach.
Well said. I think that's what I've noticed the most in the past few years. The "tourist" class showing up en masse looking for short-time (they're on a tight schedule) , the general increase in tourists of all sorts, and the decline in the number of working girls have conspired to make the whole experience very "industrial."
I stopped going to go-gos a couple of years ago. But reading the forums I'm so surprised that many have just turned into fuck factories. 30 minute (or less) short times. Girls competing on how quickly they can make the round trip. Rush, rush, rush. It seems the whole spirit of sanuk is gone.
I'm not going to sit here and [CodeWord140] and moan about the loss of "the good old days." Things change and it is what it is. There have been tons of improvements in BKK over the years too. As Dickens said,"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
There is still much old-school sanuk to be had in Thailand. I just don't think too much of it is to be found in the P4P scene these days.

Taking bar girls Long Time was probably the norm. My first trip to Thailand mid 80s, I was with a Farang wife. What a bummer! Actually I still had a good time. Snuck off to a Soapy twice, first time found one accidentally I think. The soapy girls had very little English if any and I had no Thai. Not being able to communicate was sort of frustrating. Early nineties, a buddy who had experienced the 80s and maybe even the 70s showed me the local play up zones, but not really including any Oilies. He preferred the old times as could speak Thai and liked getting to fuck a girl for just $10 or less. In the early nineties still most Soapy girls had little English and I was learning Thai in a big hurry. I liked the Thermae Soapy MP and also the Thermae Coffee Shop after hours. I liked being to take a girl away for several days at a time, and did not get bored by them so easily. I think only Pat Pong upstairs had full nudity in bars in the early 90s, and of course had to beware of rip-off bars even back then.
In the modern day the internet has helped make me aware of a big range of places.
Not correct, that guys were happy with just a cock lick in the old days. For the most part full sex readily available and largely bareback (pre AIDs being a known thing) , however when I had a wife I was not risking bareback. There were some places where could do anything except FS such as Chawala. Some guys enjoyed the challenge of seeing how much they could accomplish while girl still had her pants on. However was possible to meet these girls after work for Full Service.
In the early nineties it was very true that you had to pay a girl to leave, and even then she might be reluctant to go. Sometimes they had never had it so good, and just did not want to leave at all. You had to work hard to not accidentally end up with a girlfriend every day.
The world was certainly far less sofisticated. Taking bar girls Long Time was probably the norm.
I am visiting Thailand twice a year and every time is more than a trip there, coming and going. Doing this since 4-5 years. It took me quite a while, as my initiation to Thailand was in Samui where things are far more relaxed and laid back (1000b for a LT and BF for 300, talking about a normal bar lady) , to understand that the bar fine did not mean the girl was not gone from the bar for the night, regardless if she was going to stay with you ST or LT. Samui has always been LT for me, ie till the morning or for a couple of days. It has been in BKK the concept of multiple BF (for the gilr) and therefore multiple ST came to my knowledge. I thought, worst case scenario, thne girl would have gone FL after the ST, freed from the bar.
It is always a learning curve, thanks also to ISG, where you get a lot of inside information.
