Thanks for the update Nocal. The last time this stuff really got going there were months on end of essentially nothing on the beach, all day long. I'm thinking I won't return to Pattaya until I hear some news that's things have changed, if ever (I'm not holding my breath).

Those guys who dig Beach Road girls, as I do, might consider boycotting Pattaya bars and hotels.

My observation is that the beach road is full with hookers on daytime, but almost empty after dark. So, maybe the police don't want too much puplicity about their actions on daytime, or they want reduce the competition for the walking street venues.
Anyway it's true there are pretty girls at beach road. My tatic yesterday were I asked for the telefon numbers from the interesting girls in case that I want to take her later. Yesterday I were not horny since the girl from the night before had me totally drained.
Insomnia was very full yesterday. I think the place is too small for such a crowd. Nummerous waiter and waitresses whose are always on the prowl makes the traffic inside not better.

Seems to me that they want to concentrate most of the fun to walking street. I did notice some fl's on WS but they are very discreet. Mid to late afternoon beach rd has a few (very few) gems, but mostly nill at night.
Most Beer bars are next to empty except for the Wonderful's and around Sois 7-8.
Papagoyo (sp? ) on Soi Diana Inn (? ) has some real stunners for those who demand quality. BF is HIGH at 1k, but quality again is strong for here. Coyote style and has a nice, lounge like feel.
PLENTY of lookers at all of the top gogo's just not alot of customers. 2k long time max, IMO.
I am currently visiting Pattaya, after having spent 2 days in Bangkok. I have been readig this forum and have to say that I don't understand all the negative reports about low quality girls and high prices. I was in two bars in Pattaya second road between soi 6 and 7. One was called tiger bar and the other was just next to it I don't remember the name. I about 3 or 4 girls in each bar that I would rate as 7-9 and prices were 300 baht barfine and 500 ST, 1000 LT. The girls I spoke to were about 18-22 years old.
One of the girls, I would rate her at least a 7, was enthusiastic, lots of kissing, CBJ (didn't ask for BBBJ) etc., sex was average. And she spoke almost no english. The other girl was I would rate a 9, spoke english very good, and was very enthusiastic. Lots of kissing and BBBJ.
In my experiences in Pattaya have been much better than in Bangkok, in terms of quality/price. Just my humble opinion.

The freelancers will not have disappeared but relocated. Sit out side Mikes at the end of Artist Street for half an hour and see how many times the same girls stroll past you.

If you say so. Perhaps my timing is bad but I have never seen a woman that I would do for free on BR - old, tired, scarred and marred- there is a reason they are only asking for 500 baht. But everyone I admit has different taste - some folks like their women that way. And if you are living in Pattaya on a low budget I suppose it makes sense - but what really astonishes me is the guys who pay a load to get here, stay in a decent hotel, drink buckets of booze and then pride themselves by saving money by taking a BR girl. Good lord, you are in a city with thousands of young go-go girls - and you come to Thailand to screw a BR girl? That is insanity to me.
Sorry but would have to agree with Slacker. I too have pulled some incredibly beautiful, clean and sexy young women off of beach road over the years. I just like it as an option as there are many in Pattaya. In the end, to each his own.

YMMV is the key when reading any report on this forum as you’ve experienced. However, I agree with those who find BR girls to be scary. I have been up and down that road many times and can count on one hand anything close to what I would consider a suitable catch. Despite that, some of them do have pleasant and engaging personalities but for me, esthetic does play a large part in who I pick up.

Really not my cup of tea pulling along BR, but I would think daytime hunting makes the most sense for the reasons you just mentioned. Why get a suprise back at the room? Also notice many YOUNG gals and would question if they are old enough.
