There is a dearth of economic opportunity in small towns. The HOT ones can use their looks to earn money, prostitution being one avenue. It is the avenue I focused on due to the nature of this forum.
I do not, and did not, claim that ALL attractive Brazilian women ALL over Brazil have no other options than become prostitutes.
This entire discussion is subject to what exactly is meant by 'hot'. Individual taste varies.

As you have lived there and I have only visited, I will accept your claim. I will just add that I have met several GDPs who claimed that their families lived in the interior and they came to the city to work.
What I saw while visiting seemed to coincide with what American men have said about American small towns. The unmarried women leave. The go to university in larger cities, to better and higher paying jobs in larger cities, to a wider selection of men in the larger cities. The men who stay in smaller towns, the ones I heard this from were farmers, do so because they own or inherit family farms or small businesses and feel an obligation to carry on the family tradition. They then discover there are no attractive women unmarried women in the entire county. I once heard a woman say the same thing. She had never felt pretty in her life. But after moving to a small town she realized that she was the most attractive woman in town, in the county, and in the neighboring county.

I ended up going to Gioaina and Anapolis both in the state of Goies. Oh and I also stopped by Cabo Frio, spent a week in Sao paulo and a week in rio. I will say this. The girls in Goiana are very pretty. The will aproach in in clubs and bars also. The thing about goiana is that there are not a lot of men there. Well at least not in the bars and clubs. Then let me re-phrase.
SOME women living in small towns find that trading in on their looks in larger cities is preferable to the opportunities available to them where they currently live.
OTHER women in those same small towns find that the opportunities available to them are better than those that might be available in the larger cities and so choose to continue living where they are.
Still OTHER women living in small towns find that trading in on other skills they have is preferable to the opportunities available to them where they currently live.
And still more OTHER women face few opportunities anywhere.
Your last sentence is revealing. In many places in the world, including both Brazil and the US, looks and money are closely related, especially for women. That is the point I was trying to make using migration as a context.
In fact, this holds for men as well. Studies on the US have shown that taller men earn higher salaries than shorter men. Attractive men and women get more job interviews than less attractive men and women. Obese persons face substantial job and salary discrimination.
However, none of this is directly related to mongering. I repeat with emphasis that my original statement was made in the context of this forum which is devoted to mongering. Therefore, I reasonably did not consider non-mongering opportunites for the women in question.

What is "ugly" is a matter of taste.
However, I will claim that hookers who seen as unattractive by potential customers will earn less money than hookers who are seen as attractive by potential customers.
Since the earnings potential for less attractive hookers is lower than that for more attractve hookers, there is less financial incentive for less attractive hookers to migrate. The extra earnings from migration is less likely to cover the costs of migration. There will be "ugly" hookers in larger cities due to the simple fact that they grew up there and had no incentive to migrate elsewhere.

Five star my ass. It was pretty shaby. They charged me something like $R240 a night for a room. You may be better off staying in a apartment if you can find one in a nice area. Its not the money. I was in the sherton in Rio for a week($R470 a night) but it was fantastic. Right on the beach with a unreal veiw and great service, a true 5 star hotel. But Castros Park in goiana is shit. It is clean and safe with big windows, in other words it will do. All the girls who i took back were pretty impressed with it.
