General Information

The other day as I walked from Jones to Mango I picked up a few hawkers. They were selling Viagra, Cialis, Rolex, etc. I had actually bought some Viagra and Cialis in Manila a few months ago and it seemed legit and worked ok. These were in sealed boxes and looked real enough. They wanted PSP 1, 500 per box, to which I laughed. In Manila I had negotiated 6 boxes for a thousand. Eventually he was still chasing me at 5 boxes for PHP1, 000. Why not? He handed me the boxes, I handed him the pesos. Then he showed me that he had a sealed plastic bottle that said Cialis Tadalafil tadalafiili. I opened and read the insert, it said 50mg, which I had not seen before and the pills looked legit. The price was right so I bought.

Later I sat at a bench and opened the boxes to check. Dumb am I. Even though I have never had a problem before in Manila, I should have checked inside first. Sure enough some of the Viagra, though blue diamond shaped, did not look real. It had Chinese writing on the aluminum backing and, instead of saying Pfizer on one side and VGR100 on the other, the pills just say "VAG" on both. My guess is that the boxes were real, and they had bough cheaper generic pills and glued the boxes shut. And as for the Cialis, one box was missing two pills. Latter in the day I cornered the guy and he replaced the missing Cialis and gave me another box of what looks like real Viagra.

Anyone seen these "VAG" pills or 50mg Cialis before? Does it work? I am guessing it is Chinese generic, but could be talcum powder (or worse?)

Does anyone know when these buses start?

I'm planning to stay for a few months in Cebu later this year.

Any info on service apartments in the Lahug area?

They originate from the South Bus Terminal on Del Rosario in downtown Cebu.

Mattrick is an absolute fountain of great information, but I think he misread your post. You were asking when?

I would suspect they start at the crack of dawn or even earlier.

Manonsanboy has probably already finished his trip, but the buses run pretty regularly.

I am still planning my trip. I have paid for a ticket with Cebu Pacific and the plane lands @ Cebu at 3:30 am!

I do not want to go by taxi or car transfer but it looks grim.

Have not found a GF yet so it is blue balls diving for a couple of days!

One guy earlier was complaining about his gal coming to visit him with her gay friend. I have to relate about my experience with a gay in Cebu. I talking to the women. A gay can be a great way to meet some really nice women. Women in the Philippines trust gays much more than straight men. Preferring to go out with gays socializing in public.

Anyway your right, the buses start early like 5:00 or 6:00 am but from my recollection, only a few have a/c. You can still get lucky in Moalboal MB, especially if you hang in the north end of Panagsama Beach.

The pills could just be generics. I knew when I was taking a real viagra or at least a generic. I always felt a little light headed and all the other bas side effects. I never got bad side effects from Cialis.

I would be suspect of the Cialis, as I think the usual pills are only up to 20MG.

It may be true that Gay is a great cover when trying to meet women, but I ask you, did it help you get laid? Did you screw the brains out of any or all of the 6 women?

Gays in Cebu? Two years ago I landed in Mactan after a long and arse-numbing flight from London, checked into Mid-town, showered, shaved, changed and went downstairs to Robinsons for a coffee, sitting reading a magazine and drinking a latte a pinoy guy, looked straight, asked were any of the seats at my table taken, they looked empty enough to me, so I said "Nope"he sat down, chat started out general, where you from etc, like they all read from the same script, I was tired, jet-lagged, he asked did I have a girlfriend, a chick, I was giving him one-word answers, I wanted to read and drink my coffee to be honest, he was going on and on about women, I looked him in the eyes"Ayoko ng babae, gusto ko lang lalake bakla ako"thinking if this doesnt shut him up and scare him off nothing will, he gave a little scream and placed his hand upon my knee. I have to agree, some woman flock to gay men. To make a long story short I was in Rio de Janiero and met some gay man at a samba club. He had the most beautiful woman talking and dancing with him. I found him to be very cool because he tried to set me up with some of the most beautiful woman at the club I have ever seen. The problem was I did not speak much portuguese back then. I'm contemplating to either going back to brazil for the 5th time or between cebu or kenya for 3 weeks. Anyone with any insights? I would love to hear your advice.
