I'm at a fork in the road now when it comes to deciding on my very first mongering country. I know that DR is closer and probably cheaper than Rio, but I don't see dudes posting this kind of quality chicas over in the DR photo gallery.

I'm someone who prizes quality over quantity, and is willing to pay a little extra to get what I want.

Savepros321 Brasil has quality and quantity, [b]I would like to compare Brasil as being a Mercedes and DR being a Ford and you get what you pay for!!!!![/b] I was going to DR once every 2 months from 2002-2006 and than I finally made it to Brasil in September of 2006 and I cut back on my DR trips and I only go there to check on the property I have there and Im done with hard-core mongering in DR........Im a hard-core Brasil fanatic now I have been converted I tell guys that have never been to Brasil "You have to make a trip to Brasil atleast once in your life time but me I will be making multiple trips throug out my lifetime". Savepros321 if you have no experience traveling than I would suggest not to go to Brasil 1st get DR or CR under your belt and than go to Brasil and I think you will be ready, Brasil is not the place for a 1st time monger it might be to much for a guy to handle but than again who am I to tell what to do, do you brother just print out than Bubble Boy guide to Rio and you will be good to go.

One man's beauty is another man's dog. I have only been on one mongering trip in my entire life and that has been to Rio. There are literally tons of pictures here on this site and other sites out there as well. If you like the way women from Brazil look, then there is no question you should get your heiney there as soon as you can. I have been reading about Rio for many years now. Watched a lot of Buttman movies as well. Seen a lot of pictures of women from Rio. I liked what I saw. I really had no desire to go anywhere else. I am not into Asian women so Thailand is not for me. Germany seems to have places similar to Rio and that is a place I would like to visit someday. I have read alot about Costa Rica and the DR as well as other countries. For some reason I was always drawn back to Rio. Finally after many years of reading about Rio, thinking about Rio, watching movies about women from Rio, and jerking off to thoughts of Rio, I finally did something about and went there. I only have one regret. I should have been down here much sooner.

I think it was suggested that you go to other countries first before going to Rio. Life is too short. Maybe by going to other countries first you will sort of build yourself up and then when you get to Rio you will not be as overwhelmed. Screw that, being overwhelmed is part of the experience. Maybe by going to other countries first you will be more level headed in your thinking when you get to Rio. Screw that, every guy I know thinks with his lower head when it comes to hot available women. I say get your butt to Rio as soon as you can. I do not think you will regret it.

I was told that if I went to Rio I would be ruined. Whoever said it was right. I do not even want to bother with women in the US. I was told if I went to Rio that I would want to go again. Whoever said that was right. Not only do I want to go again, I am going to go again. I have a couple of tenative dates planned right now.

Go to Rio, I don't think you will regret it.

Do not go to Rio. My reasoning being that comment is that you will face severe depression. You will be depress everyday upon your return to your main home that you could not stay in Rio. Add that up daily and you will have severe depreession problem. I warn you! LOL.
So lets say you can go more than twice a year then you will develop an addiction.

If you can conquer the beast, then the other little mini-beast (DR, CR) with seem like a walk in the park.

With that kind of experience (from what I read about Rio compared to other countries) you will be well on your way to becoming a master monger.

If Rio gets you addicted, then that's the kind of addiction I really want! Might even encourage me to start a successful business stateside and either sell it or leave others in charge of it while I permanently relocate my arse down to Brazil and live off of the profits eternally.

Hey, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. But no use in putting the cart before the horse. I'll at least make the trip down their first, LOL.

I know this is the wrong place to post this. I have been all over the world, let's say over 30 countries in 4 continents. So as far as traveling I was seasoned. However, my first true mongering trip was to Brazil and I've never regreted it. If you go, here is what got me through when I went. It was really effortless:
1. As many mongers will tell you, read the forum. A lot of your questions will be answered, no question about it. A good rule of thumb, is to read at least 6 to 8 of the most recent months before you leave.
2. Print Sperto's map and rating scales. I wish we had that information when I first made it. It is like the yellow pages. It is a great addition to the board.
3. Print, read and carry Bubba's guide. It is a walk in the part carrying that much knowledge about the settings of the places to visit.
4. Make a list of the termas you want to visit and cross them off as you visit each place. They provide you the most bang for the buck and you will definetily repeat those that are your cup of tea. You will see, trust me.
5. Stay in a hotel. Yes, apartments provide the best value, but if it is your first trip, there is nothing like a hotel. their staff (Doorman, etc.) can provide valuable information.
6. Get familiar with the Metro system. It is easy and will save you a bundle from the overcharging taxi drivers. (Most of them love to take advantage of tourists)
You will make a lot of mistakes when you get there. But, if you stick to a routine of visiting the major termas (Lluomos, Monte Carlo, Solarium, 4 X 4, and so on), you will have a lot to talk about. Avoid Centaurus at all cost, that is a craphole that will discourage you from returning to Rio. Have fun and I look forward to your reports.

Hello to all. I'd like to say first that I have been reading these forums for quite some time now and have enjoyed it immensley. I will be taking my very first trip to Rio in 2 weeks! Wish me luck! Hehehehehehe Anyways the Sperto's map and Bubba's guide. I'm tryin like hell to find the map and Bubba's guide. I know I know just keep reading and I will find it however I'm doing so much now: planning and planning and kids and work. I'm just so busy and if anyone will be so nice as to give me a quick link to them I will really appreciate it. Thank you so much to all and I will surely post pics of my stay.
