So the plans have change. I will be coming to Delhi alone now. Kind of wanted to have the wing man, but he had a change of plans and can't make it.

Still hoping for a good time though. Hate the thought of it, but with all the scams online and few other resources, I'll probably have to ask a cabbie for suggestions.

I am buying a payed membership, if anyone is feeling generous. Would be great to hook up with a "guide" of sorts, or maybe get some good contacts before going. I'd be willing pay cab expenses and fund someone's drinking for the night if anybody is interested. Let me know.

Well, not sure where to go from here. Been trying to get a payed subscription, but I use a free proxy to access the site because it's blocked in the country I live in. This caused issues at first. Then I found a way around that, but the Visa debit card I am using, also issued in the country I live in, doesn't seem to want to work for online purchases, probably due to the fact that I have no real billing address here. I don't know what my actual address is. LOL. Got to love third world countries. So I guess I will have to just wing it when I get to Delhi.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "not comfortable with using credit card"?

If by "not comfortable" you mean is there any danger that your credit card data might be stolen, then I can tell you that both the shopping cart service and the credit card service I use to process the credit card transactions are both conducted on secure, encrypted websites, so your credit card information is secure.

If by "not comfortable" you mean is there any danger that your credit card statement will show that you've purchased a membership to this forum, then I can tell you that the credit card charge will be made under another name (which I won't write here because I don't want it being found by search engines) that looks like it's a contribution to a charity.

If by "not comfortable" you mean is there any danger that a law enforcement agency might force me to divulge your forum username, then the answer is no because I delete the shopping cart transaction data every few days, and that's the only connection between your credit card charge and your username. In other words, the credit card charge doesn't include your username, only the shopping cart database has this info, and I have total control over the shopping cart's database.

In addition, the forum's servers are located in Montreal, Canada, safely outside the USA legal system.

If by "not comfortable" you mean is there a possibility that I will take your money and dissapear, then then answer is no. This has been a membership website for several years, and nobody here has ever reported a single problem with using their credit card to purchase a subscription. Believe me, if there had ever been a problem, it would have been reported it here.
