Dear friends,

I just come from the Bar Hod Dog (Former Chesterfied, etc.) and I hav the impression that the sceme has changed. It has become a normal bar without "working girls". Can anybody confirm it? . Or maybe I was on the worng day. Hod Dog was in the past a very good alternative of NF that from my personal taste I preferred. I confirm as well that the prices in NF remain the same as before so the higest quality of girls and the higest prices (but nevertheless overpriced) so crisis is not affecting yet.

As you are facing the building, you will see a 24 Hr. apteka on your left. On your right you will see some cement steps that lead up from the street level. Walk up the steps and into the dvor around back.

That's as far as I will take you. If you want the podyezd and apt. then get their phone number from the website and give them a call. It's best to call first, since it's a small place and they can fill up fast if they get busy.

I tend to believe the latter. I've personally never been before midnight (usually don't show up until 3, as hitting HD is typically one of those last minute acts of drunken desperation), but one of SY's recent outings confirmed that it's a regular bar before 10:30pm or so, when the WGs show up.

After the sauna we decided to catch a drink or six at HD. The Russian girls wanted to stay late enough to watch the "Robotniki" under the protection of us expat guys - stupid girls. Wasn't until 11:30 PM that the storm clouds started to gather and well after midnight until after the real talent showed up. Quite the transformation.

Just a sidebar - but one of the Russian non-pros in our group was making eyes at one fo the expat guys in our group. Not much was happening until the roboniki started making advances at our good friend. That seemed to have turned out little devushka on because he ended up bringing her home and they have since ended up living together. Hmmmm - I wonder who got the better end of that deal?

Just out of curiosity : Is there a particular reason why flat numbers are not shared/publicized ? I checked few web-sites, and all you can get is the building number. This usually don't help much for non-russian speakers.

Most salons and massage parlors are very small; typically a private apartment with 2 or 3 bedrooms. They are not designed to take unannounced visitors. As I said, they can fill up very quickly so it's really in your best interest to call in advance to make sure they know that you are coming. Also, because they are operating in a private apartment building, they need to maintain some appearance of decorum. If the situation gets too out of hand, then they have to move.

I made the mistake, once, of giving out the podyezd and kvartira to someone by PM and 4 months later my favorite salon had closed. I don't know for a fact that it was my action that caused that, but it's too much of a coincidence to try it again.

On sextalk, the website for the local guys, posting too much specific info is zapreshcheno (forbidden) and they will ban you for that.

However, I understand this makes it almost impossible for a non-speaking tourist to access these places, which is unfortunate since they provide good value and are an alternative to the tourist traps.

You can't underestimate how competitive girls can be. I've been to strip clubs in the US in mixed (business) company and had a female colleague give me a lap dance with full bump-n-grind because she needed to prove that she was as sexually charged as any professional stripper could be.

I was in Moscow for a week and visited a number of strip clubs during my stay. Since the last rundown is a couple of years old, thought you guys would appreciate an update. Note: I am living in a Russian-speaking country and can converse in the language. Don't think many of the girls in the clubs speak English, so your experience is going to be quite different if you can't manage some Russian.

Let's start with the on-site full-service places, shall we?...

Packed wall-to-wall with 50 girls, many pretty, with a wide mix of looks and nationalities. The girls outnumbered the clients by 10:1 on the night I was there, but it was during the early days of the “crisis”. Almost nobody here speaks our tongue, save for a couple of black cuties from English-speaking Africa.

I invited a delicious Ukrainka out on her night off for dinner and all-nighter. On a cold and snowy night, she was warm and the experience was memorable. BTW - the restaurant ‘Nedalny Vostok’ on Tverskoi Blv. is very expensive, but worth it.

Last time I was in town, the lovely and friendly Ira was working here. Seems she has moved on. Nevertheless, not at all bad. 20 girls of decent quality. On-site sex: 8000r, including the room. This club is just around the corner from NF, but what a difference! Don’t think anyone here speaks a word of English. I was the only non-Russian in the room, save for a couple of Turkish guys living in Moscow.

Now, on to the "normal" strip-tease clubs...

This used to be Moscow’s high-end, but seems to have faded despite the high prices. Only a dozen girls on a Thursday night, but good quality. No action in the “hard room”, though the cover was supposed to pay for that.

Enjoyed chatting with Tanya, a friendly “massage girl” with a gymnast’s body. If you were to splurge for a take out, she would be the one.

This looks to be Moscow’s current class act. Two halls, both full nude. 40 very pretty girls - only a few of which have sex, AFAIK. They were celebrating some kind of anniversary, so had a special program with the girls all nude and onstage at the same time. In the same lovely state, they were occasionally dancing with the clients…

Surprisingly reasonable drink prices, given the club’s level.

This club was my favorite of the bunch, but my high opinion is probably influenced by the fact that two girls gave me their phone numbers for later rendez-vous...

On my last night, succumbed to the urge to catch-up on NF, which was my first Moscow mongering experience many years ago. You guys here know the drill...

Settled on Svetlana, who claimed she works only a night or two per month when she needs the cash. Talked a good game about how she only goes with men she really likes and then gives her all, she's not really a pro, etc. Started at EUR 1000 (!), ended at 500 for an all-night. (Yeah, I know...)

After the first go, she fell fast asleep. In the morning, she awoke, showered, and was on her way out when I came-to and asked her what she was doing. No amount of coaxing would get her back into bed. Said I should have paid 1000 if I wanted two times. Typical NF story, as I gather from other posts.
