Very well stated. Seeing what she really brings to the table is something not so many guys do here in Thailand. For most of them, they stick it in, and in six seconds they are in love. I have a friend who dates "normal" girls quite a bit here. He always asks them what they are bringing to the relationship. Degrees? A business? Estate? Car? Career? Home? Good Caretaker? What besides their looks and sex? With most, the answer is a big bag of nothing. In fact, they bring negatives. Debt, a needy family, support expectations, etc. Really don't get that. The longer I live here the less I get it. Fine to go out and bang one of these poor gals, but hey, leave it at that. But, to each his own.
Can't help myself. Too many tkae things way too serious. LOL.
My eyeballs tell me many Thai women don't even brings looks into the relationship. OMG one thing that bothers me is why can't guys buy better looking girls. LOL.
Pattaya Thailand is the best place in the world for what I want.
If I'm lucky enough to reach my late eighties and am too blind and feeble to enjoy the bunnies anymore, I'll move in with my daughter
About three years ago I was walking on 2nd street in Pattaya with a monger who I had just befriended and we saw an old gentleman walking, or more accurately shuffling, up 2nd street towards soi Diana. He must have been in his nineties or more. He was wearing what looked like a hospital gown, and was shuffling along with a walker (you know, the ones with two wheels and two legs). He had an oxygen tube attached to his nose, and there were two tanks of oxygen right next to him being pulled by two, beautiful, scantily clad honeys in their early twenties. He had a smile / grimace on his face, and I couldn't tell if that was from the pain of walking or the pain from having boned those two beauties.
My first reaction was 'whaaaaa? ', but my monger friend had the right reaction. He smiled wryly, and said 'God Bless Pattaya. '
Interesting. When I first moved here at 34, I was attracted to gals in their early 20s. Now they do nothing for me. As I have aged, so have my tastes. I like them late 20s to mid 30s. Why? Because they have a little life experience and they are just better in bed. Thai women seem to learn about their bodies later than Western women, most are late bloomers. I just don't have the patience for a giggly 20 yr old, not even for an hour. They seem and now look like kids to me. Not sure why that change had occurred.
No doubt women enter their sexual prime only after they've been fucked often enough by enough guys in enough different ways that they have lost their inhibitions, look forward to their next orgasm, have a good repertoire of tricks up their sleeve and are always open to learning something new. It may take a non-pro a number of years, and a few broken and a few good relationships with the right guys to get there. I suspect a young girl with the right attitude gets there much sooner working in one of the Sukhumvit oilies.
In general I find looks and sexual performance are optimal from about 25 to 35. As I wrote in one of my previous posts, a few years ago I found twenties too young. Now I get lustful gratification having my way with a twenty year old who is still new to the game and a bit overwhelmed by some of the things I am doing to her. Probably a symptom of some deep seated sexual pathology. I'm joking. Maybe in poor taste. But seriously, from time to time I do enjoy sex with the young, fresher girls at the Ratchada soapies. I expect them to be nervous about being with a big hairy farang and don't expect them to know much about their own bodies let alone how to satisfy a man. I enjoy their youth. I enjoy taking control of the situation. My goal is to make it as fun as possible for both of us. I think the giggles and immaturity can be amusing if you adopt the right attitude. However I spend most of my time at the Sukhumvit oilies and with good escorts because they are the best performers.
No idea what pressure you are talking about. Perhaps generalising a bit. My GF does not have the pressure of trying to provide for her daughter on her own. She had to previously run away from an abusive Thai husband. She is quite religious but shuns all Thai social things. She has in fact escaped from massive pressures. Family still creates pressures, but this is minor compared to what she used to have. She likes the freedom to do whatever she wants. So yes this freedom is possible in Thailand too.
Just in general, the pressure I referring to is like they look at us as ATM, a Thai being with us once friends and family know they look at the girls also as a ATM? One can't know exactly what is being said since we most are limited to the language and can't monitor everyone 24/7, but in general the demands on the girl it's like since you have it can you send us more we need it. The support responsibility can and will destroy your relationship if the girls doesn't or not strong enough to deal with it or say no.
I know a few Thai girls in the States, the pressure they felt or got from family was so intense that which they enjoy the freedom and learn more about American culture for example couldn't wait to immigrate their kids here and stopped visiting their home. They said they spend so much and everyone has their hands out? It can work but it depends on the girl that is just my 2 cents.

I respect and understand everyone's point of view and the reasoning behind is sound! But there are guys like me hard at times that can't seem to practice any of the things that have been said and seem to get myself into trouble all the time and that seems to be my enjoyment and my Pattaya? I might be in a club of my own?

But man you need to understand its just a job for the girls. They not there because they can't get enough foreign dick in all their various holes. They not there to learn about their bodies. LOL.
Funny how the majority of hookers cum from economically deprived areas. Mkaes one wonder why they choose hookering as a job. Nah, doesn't really. Just use logic.
If they have fun so be it. How some of you can turn prostitution into some kind of romantic jibber jabber is beyond me.

LBM
I see it this way too. This whole attitude of "can you helph me with money" is part of their culture and not limited too targeting farangs. For me the first refusal in this practice comes from me. My GF has accepted that this is the way it is and we live by my western standards. BTW, I also just refused a $600 "loan" to my own sister, but I've not seen the hand out as so predictable.
I just got dropped off at Nana after dinner and did a quick recon run to see what was open. Walked down Soi 4 and it was dark until I hit Golden Bar which is packed, serving beer in glasses. Lots of ladies hanging in the parking lot and walking the street earlier than usual too. Made the right at the 7 into Annie's Alley and both bars on the right (X-Box and the other one) were open as was Strikers on the left. The sign was lit for Hillary 1 but I didn't walk down that far. Annie's soapie looked open too. All in all, enough around the Nana for a visit.
Any info on other areas like Cowboy, Patpong, etc? Would be nice to know for tomorrow, assuming things will be the same tomorrow. Not sure if the bars made the payoff for one night or both.
The bars open on Soi 4 are predominately open because they are classed as being part of a Hotel complex, even Annie's falls under this ruling as it is part of the same building as the Raj-ah Hotel. Game bar near Soi 9 is another example. As far as bars making pay-offs to be able to open I have no idea. The Salon and Nuru are both open without being able to sell alcohol. I have heard Patpong, or at least some venues there, will be open. Whether they are allowed to sell alcohol again I cannot comment. Patpong is not a place I visit.

BJ

i ask to determine if my theories are sound, or have holes. my experience to date has been that the lower class, minimally educated isaan people often fit into the category you describe, but it doesn't seem to be a universal part of the culture. i can think of 6 girls off the top of my head, two from chiang mai. 4 from various parts of isaan. all came from modest backgrounds but not destitution. the parents all scraped to get the kids through university and instilled in them a pretty strong work ethic. none of these parents would accept a cent from their kids, and one i know even refuses birthday gifts. all have done everything in their power to not be a financial burden on their kids. and these girls worked their asses off, developed a good career or opened their own businesses, and literally have never darkened the door of a naughty bar.
i can say with certainty that if a relative approached my gf and i for a loan they'd have to get through her first. there would be three things. first, they better have a damned good reason to be asking. second, they better have a solid plan for repayment on a date certain. third, if they failed to repay that would be the last sateng they ever saw from us. and these are her rules, not mine.
now a very strong sense of familial responsibility is part of the culture and is drummed into the kids from day one. but, imho, only the total low-lifes teach their kids that it's the kids' responsibility to support the parents. all of the middle class girls i know feel it's their absolute duty to care for their parents, but none of them feel the responsibility extends to parents or siblings who are too fucking lazy, or too drunk, to work. but almost 100% of the bar girls i've met tend to be the opposite.

I can't speak for C4T but I believe we are talking as was mentioned the lowest part of the culture. Basically in GENERAL the bar girls. The higher the education the more exposure the girls even from the low class ranks they have a better understanding of the western thinking and culture and our expectations.
The rules of thumb for borrowing money is sound in the western world it is what we all go by if you have some level of education. But here in Thailand, again in the lower ranks, it is like all common sense is thrown out the window. From my own experience, they will ask without even having a plan it is like they are have a right to the money because we are a farang? No job no plan but they actually with a straight face can ask and give you a specify time they will pay you. If you were to ask a simple question regarding payment they would get insulted. Upset and lose face! It's like we have it and if we lose it what are you complaining about? You can't ask for anything upfront if they don't pay because they don't even have that? The thing that bugs me the most. They tell you they will pay you back and when they can't they avoid you and when they can't they can actually stand there smile if nothing has happened. My expectation is like anywhere I understand you are poor and this month you are short but give me something 10 baht 40 baht or even 1 baht, show me some sign of good faith?
This is a true experience I'll share with everyone. I had some contracting work done at my house the guy mis-managed the money and that is being kind. To get the project done I foot the cost again and told him he foots the labor. He sign more documents that he owed me the amount and I made a generous payment plan for him so generous I would most likely be dead by the time it is paid up? I even made him go down to the Bunglamung police station and sign a statement of what he did and he would make the payment. The first month he gave me 5, 000 baht, after that never saw him again! I track him down and one night late evening kicked his shack door down and held him and his family at bay. I ask where is my money only had 500 baht, I said keep it for you kid, I took nearly everything in his shack including his motorbike and sold it. I had told him all this before if he didn't make this simple payment that was what I expected. Like every contract he sign he thought it was a joke? Even had the nerve to get down and kiss my feet to say he was sorry! What I did I thought nothing of it my patients had run out but in the end I got heat from my wife and her family for doing what I did? I did what a Thai would but I forgot I'm a Farang and I have it to loose so why?
They look at me as a ATM, and eventually do the same with your partner? The come to my wife for money knowing they can't pay even the family and that is the hardest one to turn away because if you don't and she doesn't understand or have the guts to just say no it will eventually affect your relationship. She gets the shit given to her the pressure can be that great especially if the parents ask!
I don't agree at all. A 35 year old girl my go perfectly well with a 56 year old guy who is good nick and seems young. Incidentally 56 is not far away to my age. However, as they get older the gap seems worse. When the girl is 50 she finds herself looking after an old man at 71. If fortunate I may still be in good shape at 71, but who knows.
I think the age difference formula is meant as a fun general guideline, and not an absolute value. And since the math changes as we grow older it is only a few years before any particular lady 'ages out' from it.

I am in my 60's and in my opinion there is no 'best age' for a playmate.
For a 'long term' partner, there probably is but I sometimes like a young, innocent and shy playmate with little experience and sometimes I prefer a rather older and more experienced hottie who knows EXACTLY what she wants!
It rather depends on my mood at that moment in time.
It is, for me, a similar question to what 'look' I prefer.
Sometimes a small, slim spinner with tiny boobs and sometimes a rather more 'full bodied' lady with big ones will be my preference.
The actual age is just a number but I suppose that my 'cut of point' is a lady who LOOKS as if she is no more than around late 30's (ish!)
It is the infinite variety of both age and looks that makes life interesting isn't it?
Enjoy. (I do!)
