Besides that I'd say: don't! But not a reasonsable reason behind it except only hearing many bad stories.
So after 5 trips since November its time for some review.
Safety:
Compare to other places I've visited in Europe I can't say I ever felt unsafe in Pattaya. However its a place with lot of man and alcohol so it probably depends on yourself. There have been incidents in the recent past that doesn't make Pataya "safe".
Biggest change of an accidident is not in a club / bar or whatever. But outside. Crossing a road reminds me of the game "frogs". Keep in mind Thai people are bad drivers and this is probably the most unsafe part of the city.
Same for motorbikes. I've used them but only for short distances. Longer then 2-3 km I always took a taxi-meter (car).
From a sex perspective? As Thai people would say "up to you". And from my experience. Anything goes and doesn't matter if its freelance / online / gogo.
Street and soi's.
If you're only want a quick boom boom would say soi 6 (soi sex) is the place to be. Stay out of soi 6/1 unless you're into ladyboys.
Soi 7/8 are mainly beerbars and never saw anything of intrested over there.
Soi 13/1 and 13/2- Some BJ bars and massage places. For me easily to skip.
LK Metro. Basically two streets in the shape of an L filled with bars and gogo's. Saw only a hotty in Pulse (gogo) and Camel toe (bar).
Soi Bakau- Large street near LK Metro also mostly bars.
Walking street is for me more the place to go. But doesn't open before 8 pm.
Lucifer /808/ Insomnia are the main dance clubs with lot of freelancers. Especially Lucifer has the reputation of too many ladies.
IBar (below insomnia) is more of a dance / are&be bar. Good quality of ladies but keep in mind they overcharge farang (tourists).
Most gogo's are about the same: not topless or just a few.
Windmill / Dollhouse / ElectricBlue / sugababes are on the wild side of thinks.
Keep in mind. From soi6 all the way to the end of Walkingstreet is roughly 3,5 KM.

Thaifriendly is the place to be. Tinder is also used but doesn't have the amount of ladies you find on Thaifriendly.
For chatting. Keep in mind no one uses western chat apps. Most contact is over LINE.
Most my girls I've met there. Some worked gogo but most of them freelance or massage.

Rates:
Can be open for discussion but I've never paid more then 1000 for ST (one time sex) or 2000 LT (stay till next morning).

Of course I spend twice the amount of money on drinks and food those days.
Daytime:
When the sun is up Pattaya is dead. Yeah you can do massage and so but there is little to nothing to do.
There are a few shopping malls along beach road but nothing special.
Most tourist attractions are too far out of town so would easily set you back 1000 THB on transport (I would not advice renting a bike. See above).
Only thing you need to see? Sanctuary of truth! Amazing.
And go to Phrabat Mountain for a nice view over the city.
If you have a Longtime girl. Going to the movies can be an option and there are some bowling places.
Eating:
So many places so lets limit it to a few.
KISS on second road is awesome. Cheap and cheap and open 24/7.
Royal garden (beachroad) topfloor has a good restaurant.

The talent is low on soi 6 compared to my last October visit. I have to spend time to choose best girls among all the mediocre ones. Went to bar called pussy cat or something and liked one girl. I think some massage shops in soi Honey are open 24 HR, but not sure about this.
