That's why she could ask for more. $86 is probably too much, but on the other hand if someone a bit tired of doing Asians for a week why not?
She'd certainly be exotic for a Japanese or Chinese businessman doing Thailand, no? I can see them paying more for a non-Asian.
We are all fallible human beings, not perfect heroes, but flaunting those human flaws in front of our children does damage, in my view.
What image / respect can the son have for his father after that?
Whoring with one's children is not a good idea.
Perhaps, one day, you could introduce him to your "girlfriend" but in the context of a woman you have a "semi-relationship" with.
Not in the context of cruising Sosua for working girls, etc.
For what its worth.
Good luck.
Thank for the comments, and your other post re family and societal attitudes.
Sex preferences really do depend on your upbringing and culture. I grew up in the UK and sex was separate and hidden from normal life, not so much a church thing, but a general working class attitude influenced by the War, and although I lived in a poor working class city, travelled around there, and drank regularly in bars from age 16, I never saw a real life hooker until I was 21 and in Canada. But being young, I guess I really wasn't looking for them. Or maybe it was the lack of money to indulge, so that shacking up was the cheapest way to get regular pussy.
Of course now when I go back to visit there's no problem getting laid in one of the "parlors". Now they are everywhere.
But seeing as how the first adult pussy I saw had hair, I still have a hard time getting off on a bald pussy, LOL.
And, I'm still blown away by beautiful black and Asian women, because they weren't around when I was growing up.
Given that background of yours, I am wondering how common it was / is in this country, to go (horing) with your closest elders (same question for the Europeans on this board as they were growing up in the European countries)? Legalized brothels were removed from most EU countries by end of WWII while in the US, it is restricted to only a few states. Based on my reading, I understand that in South America (perhaps also in Mexico), it might still be customary for a father to take his son to an initiation ceremony but I wonder if there are class ramifications to such a comportment. As far as I am concerned, growing up in a third world country like India, where prostitution in all its forms abounds but never in the open, my father would have strangled me even for entertaining the idea in our lower middle class upbringing and I have a feeling that my 16 year old son would look at me with disbelief and perhaps disdain for even floating the idea.
A good topic for discussion. I'm sure there are subcultures within the US where the practice is acceptable, but it doesn't follow any racial lines.
I remember overhearing a conversation when I was quite young. When my father was stationed at Miramar, sometimes him and his buddies would head down to Tijuana on a Saturday "to get haircuts". That was probably 1963 or '64, and for $2 you could probably get a shave, haircut, nut and a cerveza in Tijuana. My dad also went on 4 WestPac cruises, with stops in Hawaii, Phillipines, Japan and who knows where else. I expect I've got a dozen or so half brothers and sisters scattered across eastern Asia.

The Price of Tail
Because of the discussion about prices in Sosua, and the increase, I decided to do the math and find out just how bad things are. It's not too difficult, you just need the price in 2005, I assumed 500 DOP, the current price, 1500 DOP, the exchange rates for then and now, 29 DOP /1 USD and 45 DOP /1 USD, and the adjustment for inflation, 1.22 for the US and 1.6 for the DR.
Roughly speaking, in 2005 dollars, 500 pesos was about $17.24. In today's dollars 1500 pesos is about $33.33. A big jump, but not too crazy. However, when you adjust for inflation, 1500 pesos in 2005 dollars is $27.30. So, the tourist is paying quite a bit more today.
Now for the Dominican numbers. The Dominican Republic inflation rate over the same period is much higher than the US rate, due to 2 critical factors. The first is the steady growth of the DR tourism industry, but more importantly, the DR was not hit nearly as hard by the collapse in 2008. It hurts a lot more when you fall off the ladder when you're at the top.
Are you ready for this? Adjusted for inflation and exchange rates, the jump from 500 to 1500 pesos is only an increase from $17.24 to $20.83.
As you can see, all the talk about people overpaying and driving up prices is meaningless. The price difference represents a small increase in standard of living.

You are way off-beam with the above comment, though. Suppression of, and hypocrisy about, sex was very much a church thing, in the sense that it derives from the Puritan tradition. Working class people (other than those of Irish stock) were predominantly low-church. My parents never went to church except for weddings and funerals but all their social values were low church / Methodist, and the same for our whole street apart from one despised Irish family who had nine kids, got blind drunk every weekend, and set the net curtains twitching.
The Second World War was the great liberator of the working class, socially, politically and sexually. All those young lads away from their parents and neighbours, were sexually liberated for the first time. Once the war was over they had to knuckle down again, but twenty years later they were the generation in charge, hence the famous "Swinging Sixties".

But in 2005 500 pesos was rock bottom and as I recall the price at Blackbeards around that time was something like 1300 pesos. However in 2003 the exchange rate was 50 pesos to the dollar, so 1300 pesos had been only about $26 at that time. Then when the exchange went to 29,1300 pesos would have been about $35.
The notion that mongers have caused prices and wages inflation in the DR is absurd. Don't I recall Mr. Emotional complaining not long ago about being caught up in industrial action with protests blocking the street? Haven't DR teachers struck for more pay, and government doctors too? Does the world commodity price of oil or propane affect the DR in any way?
Actually the one thing that keeps wages for unskilled labor down in the DR is the presence of Haitians, and this is also the case in the sex industry, and also the cause of some friction.

Sir,
Any reason why you have to (re) upload your YouTube videos like every month? Is YouTube censoring your stuff? Just curious. Keep up the good work.
Great conversation, also with the input from Yonkers 44 about Spain. But do explain to me one thing, in the UK, what percentage of people 50 years back used to belong to the Church of England and was that church as "hypocritical" as the Catholic church given that it descended from them? Didn't the Puritans have a beef with the Church of England and hence I tend to view the latter, as more liberal than the Calvinists.
More interestingly, given that the church was the moralist everywhere in Europe, how does one explain the geographic variations, say, between the Latin cultures (Spain / Italy / France) where fathers were more open about theirs sons vis a vis the Northern cultures (UK / Holland / Germany) where such a thing would be unthinkable.

A full time job for some stay at home ladies.
We lived in industrial terraced houses in the smoky north, so our experiences may differ, say, from Sussex, Kent, or Mayfair, LOL.
Nobody in our family went to church, but they did send us to Sunday school! Our grandparents were dead against sex outside marriage, scared stiff of an out of wedlock pregnancy in the family, for practical reasons rather than religious, but we had one anyway. (condoms were for the rich, and anyway nobody in our district had STDs).
All the teenage girls had curfews, and woe betide any that came in late. Most of the rows that occurred were with girls coming home late. It was a problem for us lads because sometimes the bus actually DID breakdown and we got them home late. Then there was hell to pay. Sneaking in to her house and hiding under the bed, it actually happened!
It was all be summed up brilliantly in the Kinks' YouTube video, "Come dancing".
Fast forward to Canada at 21. A big car, women everywhere looking to get laid, parks, lakes, laneways, and cheap motels. Girls with their own apartments and flats with no curfews, (and no nosy landladies). lol
Fast forward again to today, now we have Sosua. There IS a god!

Sex ed in schools was basically "don't or you will die of syphilis". Church of England and Presbyterians in Scotland kept businesses and nearly all entertainment closed on Sundays. So before TV parents sent children to Sunday school on Sunday afternoon so parents could stay home and fuck undisturbed.
At barber shops they would ask "is there anything else sir" and the boldest teenagers would ask for a packet of Durec in the hope of having a chance to use them in combat.
Also see the movie The Family Way or read an online synopsis.

Church of England is basically Catholicism without the Pope except in Scotland. Also Catholics revere the Virgin Mary more than other types of Christianity.

The men consider it their prerogative to have mistresses, go to bordellos, etc.
The women indoctrinated in this mindset just brush it off as "men being men," etc.
The more old-fashioned types might accept this, but I have seen more "modern" society react with condemnation.
Still talking about the Catholic traditions, after all.
My impression is that the Northern Europeans, ie, German, Dutch are more open-minded regarding sex.
An Army buddy in Germany would spend the weekend with his German girlfriend (who lived with her father) and they walked around the house stark naked, like no big deal.
Same impression in Germany with women sunbathing topless in the parks and very liberal attitudes toward sex.
Look at the number of FKK clubs in Germany.
It may be the Scandinavians that inherited the stricter forms of Protestantism.
Maybe Mr E works for the Airlines. I believe his exploits because I know a few guys who travel all over the world and some of them have girlfriends in damn near every continent that they visited. The one common denominator was they all worked for the airlines and had jobs where they could work their asses off for a short period, then they had time to travel on a frequent basis. Its was actually easier for these guys to get seats on international flights than it was to secure a 1st class ticket within the states.
The only other guy I ever met who traveled that frequently was a Doctor. His schedule was 7 days on, 7 days off. He would go to Brasil every other weekend for about 3 years straight.
Give that man his props. Bravo you nailed it! Mr. E does deals with the airline. The man travels.
