Medellin, hands down. Remember that Bogota is a far colder city, and folks wear jackets all year round, unlike Medellin where you at least have a chance of seeing some skin. One of the true nuggets of monger wisdom I acquired was from a Pereiera taxi driver when I asked him if the ladies there were better looking than in Manizales and he said Pereira for this precise reason - it is warmer, and the ladies have to reveal more skin due to the weather and so have to maintain better shape and better looks overall. This is applicable over the whole country, maybe the whole planet. Also, Medellin is more of Italian/Spanish/French light-skinned makeup where Bogota is more dark-skinned, lots of Indian blood, less attractive at least to me. Bogota is a melting pot.

Having, said that, I do think Bogota is the much better city of the two to visit (a minority opinion). The number of available ladies is much higher, and I think the venues are far more numerous and more varied. Bogota being a melting pot has ladies from all over the country - mainly from Medellin and Cali, and much more variety found in any of those cities. In fact, you will almost never run into a working lady from Bogota below Calle 50 or so. Bogota ladies have a reputation of being snobby and only work at the higher end places further north, but there are some real lookers there. Additionally, Bogota is a far more international city and there is much more to do than in Medellin (much better for shopping, nightlife, restaurants, etc...)

I heard Cartagena was also mostly Indios, and I like lighter skinned girls better also. So Medellin it is then.

I will be traveling to Bogota next week, just for two nights. I will be arriving on Monday and leaving on Wednesday morning. I will be staying in the Sofitel Hotel. Can someone help me, is this hotel ok to bring girls back? Will I have problems? This s my first time to Bogota and I want to enjoy myself there, even if its just for two nights. I speak spanish fluently. I was wondering if any one knows of a good salsa night club. I know I'll be there on a Monday and Tuesday. Is there anything to do there on these days. What is your best recommendations and does any one know if its a safe area. I wil be traveling with a co-woker, but I know he won't be hanging out. So I will be flying solo, that's until I find the right chica, LOL, hopefully. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just back from Bogota I visited quite a few places. These were Troya, Otto's,La Mansion, Lalo's, Casanova and Extasis.

Troya was a disappointment. It had a lot of energy and many people almost too many guys however the quality of the chicas was in my eyes very poor.Did several laps of the place and quite frankly there was not even a 7. Troya is also located in a pretty rough area it does not seem safe to me and I had problems getting a taxi driver to take me there. The one that did insisted on waiting which I was happy for. Inside its pretty safe but I would not want to wander the streets around there at night. I was there on a Friday night.Just one night so I could have been unlucky.

Lalo's was also not what I expected. When I first got there I was ushered in and immediately pushed into ordering a half bottle of scotch which I did not even finish. They always seem to be the most pushy with regard to buying drinks at this club with the bar tenders and waiters insisting on propinas.

There were many chicas but unfortunately not the quality I expected. Here you can find fat,skinny, girl next door, plain , young, mature and if you are very lucky one or two exceptional chicas. Its vey much a mixed bag in a small club. I had such high hopes for this palce after reading all the reviews but I did not take home a single chica during my 5 nights in Bogota when I visited the club every night for five nights.

I got wise after the first night and stuck to the bar instead of the couches and ordered a scotch or beer which usually cost me around 25 000-28000 COP.

I did buy some girls a couple drinks and did spend the time to speak to a few and hang out. This was possible despite my poor spanish. I even met a girl I knew from Le Palace in Panama. By far the most beautiful there but did not partake. I kept seeing the same girls every night I was told there are as much as 60-70 chicas that come there but I cant see how as the place is so small. Carolinas in St Martin is about the size of the place. There are many private rooms but its all at a cost. Girls are dressed in jeans, hotpants ,dresses ect so its hard to figure out their bodies. It did not help that it was very cold in Bogota as well.

Casanova and Extasis were worse. Casanova is the best looking club. Very comfortable. Less chicas than Lalo's and nothing of quality either. There are perhaps two to three 7-8's. Drinks were reasonable and its great to have a seat and just relax and have a beer without being pestered by waiters. I also visited the palce every night for 5 nights and saw the same girls every night. No dancing even though there were poles. Very quiet for most of the week.

Extasis is next door and a bit old and grimy. Friendly bar lady and possibly 5-6 chicas! There was one diamond who was quite stunning and I took her for a TLN. She refused BBBJ but it was a good session never the less. I could have made more use of her in the morning but didnt feel the vibe. The other chicas are below 6 on a scale of 1-10. For a proper TLN until late the next ,morning it cost 400000 COP for the girl the bar fine was negligible. She refused to drop below this price even though I left and returned later hoping to negociate a better price.

Otto's is quite a place to visit. Somewhat difficult to get to unless your driver is in the know or you RTFF and have an idea of where it is yourself. Quite hidden away behind a large balck steel gate and some larger heavy doors. Not quite sure if the doors are to keep people out or persons in. No buying of one drink at Otto's oh no. You have to buy a half bottle of whiskey so its going to cost you a bit. My first time there it was late and the selection of girls was poor. On my second visit I got there quite early at about 9pm the girls were coming in and it was much much better. The Madame sat me down and all the girls came for an interview one by one into the room. I settled on a sexy young duo who performed a live sex show with double ended dildos for 300000COP. After I kept the better looking of the two and had sex in the room. I could not help myself as she was amazing. The service was great BBBJ and great sex. This did cost extra to the show. I wanted to take her home but did not. The half bottle lasted the entire session plus drinks for all. Expensive but not as much as Le Palace in Panama.

There were many others perhaps 3-4 others that I would have liked to session with but did not have the time. The thing with Otto's is the girls or at least some of them look pretty worn out and tired. Tired eyes all around and one was drunk already at 9pm with me being one of the few guys in the club. I recommend it.

La Mansion in my humble opinion was the best place in Bogota. Its large and a bit quiet. The reviews that said it full of only plastic chicas is not entirely true. There is a mixed bag of good looking women. Older and younger some thin others womanly and voluptuous. AT most about 25-30 women on a friday night less during the week. I like: waiters did not hassle me, I could drink at leisure.The drinks were really strong like an almost full glass of scotch had to get a mixer so I never really had more than one drink. The women dont approach you, seems to be house rules. The waiter can assit or you can point and motion over. take out does not really drop below 600000COP and the house is 100000COP plus your drinks. The women are truely lovely and it here that I really indulged my fantasy of the voluptuous sexy colombian woman. I had take away here twice and both timeswith the same girl a paisa girl in her twenties that was really amazing..one of the best ever in terms of personality and sex and personality during sex too. I would have liked to session with a few others but did not have the time or the budget. Get there about 10 to 1030pm. All good looking all different only a couple major plastic freaks I myself dont mind some silicon but done well.

On reflection for future Bogota travelers please note the following. The actual places of mongering are safe places. The taxis from these places did not con me even though they were not official. I changed dollars i8n the airport and got the best rate there 1800 to 1us. In the banks they gave me a great hassle to change us currency and the rates were much less 1700-1775 to 1us. The girls should always be paid in COP and not US cause they get adventurous with thee exchange rate and will insist its 1600 to 1us which is ridiculous. The restaurants are really good try them particularly Harry Sasson.

I'm sorry to say so but I was hoping that by going to Bogota I would get a mongers paradise that is gorgeous women 9-10 at the best prices. I did get good value compared to Panama but in Panama you have a higher concentration of better looking women in one place Golden Time and Le Palace. If you have been to Le Palace don't believe all the places in Colombia are like that cause in Bogota its not so. The best quality model type women were in La Mansion and Otto's in that order and those places are more expensive than the others.

I have been to Campo and there is another place you can go to where you can find lots of great looking women in one place at great value. I did visit a place I have never been to which was Bogota and it was great but go for the experience which will probably be different from mine and dont believe all the hype or the fantasy. Bogota is good and can at times even be great but not any more so than Panama or Campo. Mongering in Bogota and looking for the model chicas can lead to a lot of bar hopping, a lot of taxi rides and fares. You can however find that its very flexible with dealing with chicas and making alternate arrangements to see them out of the club once you get along. I had numerous requests for lunches and daytime meetings.

I must say, prices indicated are not encouraging. It is around 300 Euro!

For that amount of money, I have better to wait and be back home.

Thanks for the reports Sato, I just got back from Panama and was thinking of going to Bogata to see if the quality and quanity is larger there. Still debating on pty or bog next week.

Anyone know a driver/guide I can call? Don't want to be scammed being my frist time in bog. Safety is a concern as I kinda stick out LOL.

Dont worry too much about being scammed I stuck out and managed fine. Just call 3 111 111 from your hotel phone or apt. and they will ask you your address and the last two numbers of your phone number. If you are at a hotel the door guys will be more than happy to help you. Get the addresses of the bars from the forum and write them in a note pad and take it with you.Bogota taxi drivers never seem to know where anything is you have to show them the address. Once at any of the clubs there are taxis outside that can take you to another place or back home. Dont worry I was out and about alone till late and I was fine.

There are cheaper places in Santa Fe like Troya, Las Paisas and other clubs but the area isnt the place to wander too many drunk or drugged out touts to follow you around and I went only to Troya early Friday night and it sucked really badly. Interesting that the urinal is like a long concrete raised drain that they fill with some branches from a bush or tree which is supposed to kill the scent.

However why travel to Bogota to deal with ugly girls? If you have great spanish skills and know your way around everything becomes cheaper you may even get some non pron free action but if you are a tourist like I was you are better off going to Curacao. Better value. Again I did not go to Atunes or Paisas so I dont know what the quality is like there. I did go to Juan Pablos which I forgot to mention but there were at most 5 girls there not of which were over 6. Nice bar though. All the taxi guys know the place because they get a propina for bringing people there.

Dont believe them unless its a holiday or something just jump in the cab and give the address and go. Once there are cabs parked outside the gates of the mansion you know its open even if the gate is not. Its a big black gate with a small door set in it.

Atunes is by far the best value for the money, or the mezzanine. RTFF people.
