Well – just returned after 2 weeks in Hong Kong and would like to provide some information and general thoughts for prospective mongerers.
First of all I wrote a while back asking for advice and opinions on giving Miss “M” from Manila “show money”. Miss “M” is a girl I met last February in Hong Kong and who has kept in touch ever since with emails, on messenger, texts and phone calls” To be honest we have grown very fond of each other – 1300 messages in 9 months is proof of our relationship. She arrived at the airport some 3 hours before me and I told her to make her way to the hotel where she was booked into but no, she waited for me and it was a pleasant surprise to see her there when I arrived.
We had a great 2 weeks – pay them respect and treat them nice and the returns are immeasurable. I won’t go into the sex side but I was not disappointed – three times a day for 2 weeks and at 32 she is half my age. Thank god for vitamin “V”
I also had a great arrangement with her. I had some business to attend to nearly every afternoon and evening. We arranged that she could go to her usual haunts to earn drink money from about 9.00pm to 2.am when I would then meet up with her. This gave me the opportunity to go out at night with some mates who were with me to places in Wanchai although I was only looking this time, knowing that I was OK for the night anyway.
My observations lead me to think and I have little doubt the quality of talent has gone down over the years in places like Borocay, Neptunes, Fenwicks, Amazonia and Galaxy. The latter is a waste of time before about 3.00am. It was hard to spot anyone above 7/8 in my view. The place is also now flooded out with Vietnamese who from the looks perspective are impressive. My mates went out with a few and all reported good times if not a bit mechanical. GFE was hard to find with them – it was all business. OK, I know this is the real reason they are there but at least with the Filipinos you can usually get some sort of rapport. I don’t know how many times I was approached by them in Neptunes and Fenwicks but there a few stunners there – if only their English was a bit better!
I went to Dusk till Dawn several times with Miss “M” and it used to be in the past that this was not really a pick up place – the bouncers used not to let them in unaccompanied but I noticed this time there were plenty available girls there – and available. Watch your change when there incidentally – my mate handed over $500 for food only to get change from $100. There was a scam operating with the waitress and although we got the Manager, nothing could be done. Miss “M” overheard the tagalog dialogue with the waitress on their scam but the Manager was not convinced. So be careful.
Amazonia gets packed at night – probably because in part of the band there and again there are plenty opportunities to meet with the opposite sex.
The other places were much the same as before – not very busy before 11.00pm and then packed most nights. Again, as I have said before, you can’t fail. Just stand there and they will find you.
I took Miss “M” to Macau in order to renew her visa and she met no problems on our return – because she was with me.
One thing I did notice was sometimes in restaurants she was being stared at by UK/European women and one occasion found it uncomfortable and we asked to me moved. I bet their husbands was saying – “lucky bastard”
We went for breakfast most mornings in the hotel – again sometimes she felt uncomfortable but I told her just to ignore it, as I did.
We stayed in the Cosmoplitan Hotel – GF but after 12 midnight you had to declare your friend as my mates found out but there were no problems. Never seen this before in HK.

From a financial viewpoint I reckoned on saving about HK$10,000 having her with me as I used to spend about HK$1000 a night for LT. OK – there were additional costs such as meals etc and I bought the odd thing for her but I found that a pleasure and it did not stretch the bank balance. I did give her some money at the end of the week for which she was eternally grateful – and she showed it as well. I left her with the promise to see her again in February – the parting was a tearful one and sometimes I wonder if I am doing the right thing with her as there really is no long term future in it fir her – I am married but she knows this. She is clinging onto a hope.
These girls have little option in doing what they do – they need the money and every time I gave her anything she wired it home but they too have feelings and probably deep down are hoping for the impossible to happen – someone will take them out of the way of life they lead.
The going rates seem to be about the same as in the past – HK$1000 LT about HK$600 ST but the starting off prices are a lot higher. One girl my mate was interested in would not go below HK$2000 – a bit steep! Another thing I noticed was an increase in the number of girls on the streets, Chinese included, and there was little doubt they were not just out for a walk. I was approached often and some were fairly hot.

Overall – still a great place to do a spot of mongering but dear oh dear – the price of everything has gone through the roof. I’m from the UK – the £ has fallen so much against the HK$ in the past 9 months.

Thinking about sneaking into Hong Kong and not letting my family know. Just want to spend the a day and head back to Bangkok. Not that I don't love my relatives they just are so great. The pick me up and put me up and feed me and help me get laid if that's what I want. But sometimes I just want to be on my own and check out the places I want to and relax. So to make a long story short.

Is there a safe place at the airport for me to check one of my lugguge for 24 hours and pick it back up the next day when I leave?

Although I know the MTR, goes to the airport I have never used it from the airport. Is it easy to access in the airport to get into town? Thinking about the 1st of February.

As promised here is the report from my recent Hong Kong trip.

On the advice of Brown Rail we headed straight for the back of Fenwicks. I hate it when most of the merchandise usually do not carry a price tag. in asia, the price is usually what the shopowner can fetch for their goods. It was similar to a Macaua sauna but on a much smaller scale. A male attendant takes you to the locker area where you undress, put your clothes into a locker and get a locker key. Then there is a shower area and lounge area. There was no lineup but they gave me a cute local girl with very nice long legs. LBM[/QUOTE]There is a left luggage in the airport and getting into town takes between 30 minutes (Airport Express 100 HK$) and 1 hour (Airport Bus, 30-40 HK$). It is far easier than in Bangkok.
