Sometimes I think I want to monger for life. But there is no cure for herpes, if you ever want to settle down with someone you got to tell them they'll get it too. Heavy stuff.
I never DATY or have BBBJ, no disrespect to those who do.
I want to smash all these girls but want to settle down one day STD free. So conflicted!
As stated in another post, a good deal of folks worldwide have herpes and most did not get in from p4 p. And people can be carriers and be asymptotic. It's a risk of having multiple sex partners. In much of the world the stigma is not so great.
You are incorrect, Google is not your friend. Having HSV1 makes you immune to HSV2. If you have an outbreak, that means you have a problem with your immune system, it's not difficult to understand. So you mean I don't know my job and studied years for nothing.
Congratulation, you got your medical diploma on Google.
Are you SERIOUSLY trying to tell people that oral herpes makes you immune to genital herpes??
Yes, same same but DIFFERENT (strain). Yes, there is limited stigma over former and big stigma over latter.

2 LOCATIONS - same same , but different. Getting a cold sore on your lip doesn't prevent you from then catching/getting ones in your genital area

I assume Dr MFS that when your patients with genital herpes come in that you ask them "have you ever had a cold sore on your tongue or lips etc). And if the answer is no, then you say "oh that's why you got genital herpes".
Again, I warn the readers of this board not to take this advice because its just not accurate.

You believe in the evidence you want, there are many different evidences.
I don't ask my patients if they caught HSV1 because it's useless, many conditions mimic HSV1. Ex: people mistake other oral ulcers for HSV1. I also don't need because I can see their medical history.
HSV is a stigma that affects people mentally, It's sad how people are paranoid about STDs and useless scientific data advertise about STDs when there are many medical conditions that are way worse. I am not from the USA but I am an American citizen. I had also studied for a few years in a medical school in university in the USA. I warn the readers of this board to take the advice of Dr GG because I don't really care what you people do in your life.

Yes. It IS possible to have HSV1 in your genital area.
But that is not common.
So while your theory may potentially hold water (and I am not a medical professional, but I can think logically) that once you have HSV1 around your mouth, you might not catch it around the genitals. (though actually I'm not at all convinced you would not).
BUT.
You can not account for the HSV2 (aka genital) virus which again MIGHT also manifest itself around the mouth, but overwhelmingly manifests itself in your genital area, (and often on the penis itself).
Strain 1 does NOT give immunity against strain 2.
The readers can do their own research, ask their own doctors and decide accordingly. But you had to be called out on spreading this nonsense.
Ate logo!
p.s. No one here (at least I am not) arguing about how genital herpes is worse than many other medical and epidermal conditions that you may come across. That's a completely different discussion. Especially with the use of meds like basic acyclovir, people with genital herpes lead perfectly normal lives. I'm not trying to stigmatize the condition nor anyone who has it. But to suggest one has immunity against something whereas one does NOT - is a different thing altogether.

I never tell people not to see doctors. Quite the reverse, I urge people to see skin specialists when it comes to skin conditions affecting genital area and urulogists when it comes to male internal reproductive organs and to make their own decision. Where did you see in my posts saying people should not see specialists. I am against misdiagnosis and misinformation. Even worse, I am against general practicioners and some medical specialists pretending to know how to treat some medical conditions that are not in their field.
Doctors all have different opinions, You are partially immune to HSV2 if you contracted cold sore, but when you catch it, your symptoms are so mild you can't notice them and less severe than a person that has never been exposed to HSV1. I partially agree with him. If your symptoms are less severe and you can't notice them, that means you are immune to it. Every doctor is different. People should see the doctors they want and take the advice they want. HSV blood tests are not accurate, the only way to diagnose HSV is taking a tissue sample of the sore for examination in the laboratory. The laboratory will confirm the diagnosis of the specialist. PS : The laboratory can't diagnose every disease with one sample, that's why the diagnosis of the specialist is important. Sample diagnosis is more accurate than blood test.
People with severe outbreak have lowered immune system because of many causes. HIV is not the only cause for lowered immunity.

Dr GG, I know your real name is Mr Know It All, that's why I can't argue with you. Have a good day. I wish you much success in your medical carrier.
Many of us suffer from posting what appears to be a bit overly dogmatic. As a scientific type, I know well that theories can be disproved by counter-example, but cannot be proved always true by example, no matter how many examples we have.
We have to make allowances for rare possibilities too. So Catching HSV2 after HSV1 may well be possible even if a bit rarer. Web reports studies that showed it was possible, unless of course misdiagnosis. However allow for it being possible. We should be very careful about implying things are impossible unless is very provable (not easy).
Even if HIV is normally in Gays, Intravenous drug users, blood transfusion patients, or children caught from mother, there are clearly plenty of Thai housewives that died of AIDs believed to be not in those categories. Even circumcised males could catch HIV from a woman although may be rare.
All studies are tough because people are such lairs about what they did and what they did not do. So asking a patient can be a bit useless.
Sex surveys were also discredited because subjects were such lairs about their sex frequency and prowess. I am happy to admit that all my life I got an inadequate sex life from my normal partners and that was a contributing factor to mongering, starting from having a Farang wife who got horny once a month. GFs that did provide a lot of sex and sufficient to keep me away from mongering, were somewhat Psycho, and I could not live with them. The relationship did not last, even I stopped mongering for some months.
My current GF never gave me quite enough too, but was better than past partners. Now I can see that I can get sex a lot, if she has her mood turned by smoking premium grade in a bong. If no stuff, then her coming down off that puts her in a non favourable mood. Will beer be enough to get her in the right loose mood? Maybe some days. This is so different to myself not needing any of these things to be in the mood. So now I know the way to get lots of sex, for the price of premium grade "herbs". What she grew herself, was no where near as effective, but had some effect. These are things learned.
Guys with a regular partner who wants sex every day, with any substance assisting, are really quite fortunate. I am away a lot so have to put up with long periods of no sex too. Other guys have just decided to outsource nearly all sex for the remainder of their days. This is the most reliable way to get it, and not be bored, I guess.
Was strange the mass hysteria that accompanied "Herpes" but almost died away when HIV became the big one. I still don't have conclusive evidence if I ever had HSV or not since long term tests were inconclusive, but I have given up caring now. It just does not matter any more. I am happy to not have cold sores coming up, like others less fortunate, of course, but it is not the worst disease to be having. I just realise I don't need certainty.
I was shocked in the pub when girl arrived wearing a mask, and said she had a cold or flu (a virus), then the manager says to her to get those anti-biotics going straight away. Surely people should know antibiotics does nothing against a virus, and are a waste of time, doing far more harm than good, unless we have a bad bacterial infection that really calls for antibiotics. I won't take anti-biotics any more unless I am sure my condition demands it. Just stuffs up my gut too badly, causing weight gain. I may well have some issues caused by long term antibiotics abuse too, when I was young and trying to get rid of acne.

Safe Hobbying tips.
So maybe I am making this more complex than it is but the safest way to have sex with working girls is.
Trim your pubic hair as this can be a medium to catch disease.
Put the condom on before touching their cochi.
Don't use thin condoms, because they are more likely to break.
After removing the condom wash your private areas with soap and water.
I've heard hand sanitizer is a bad ideas because it dries out skin but can't you just use it and then moisturize? Is there any safe, useful, post sex disinfectant?
Yea I know there's always risks, no I'm not germafobe, I'm just trying to get tips for best practice as we are with woman who might see several clients in a day and we might see many girls in a day so there are a few minor habits to develop to make this as safe as possible. I figure here is a good place to find wise people who can share precautions, thanks y'all.

Maybe you misspelled it. I suppose you were trying for coochie, not a word often used on here, so took me a while to think of it.
I have moved to ultra thin condoms like many others. I don't believe they break any more often. If they do break I can change it. Breakage comes from finger nails, or anything else sharp, or manufacturing defect, or from abrasion against a sponge shoved in the girl's pussy. I always check for sponges and make sure thy get removed. I probably can not fuck with a thick condom, so forget that for an idea.
Alkaline cake soaps are not good for your crotch. Can promote fungal infections. A very mild soap is okay Or a slightly acidic special wash is good. These are sold mostly for ladies but men can use as well.
Washing hands well is important, agreed, to prevent spread of all types of things, not especially STDs. I caught an eye infection once, possibly transferred from finger in pussy.
I don't have microbe phobia. I almost always catch a virus after a long plane flight, but mostly not catching anything much from girls.
Just getting breathed on is a big risk. My respiratory health improves a lot in Thailand. I believe humidity is helping me a lot.

LivingFossil, After removing the condon, washing hands with soap first is important. I don't advise people to wash their penis with soap, especially uncircumcised men. Penile skin is more fragile. Soap may irritate the skin. Mucous membrane and abrasion increase sthe risk of sti. Washing your penis with warm water is enough (but not too warm).
Using condom for every vaginal act, thin condoms are good, I often use thin condoms and never had any problem with them.
Recieving unprotected oral sex is not really risky, the risk is the same as kissing. You can't contract hiv from oral sex. You can rarely contract HSV2 from oral sex, maybe it's possible but it's very rare. Oral area is not a common place for HSV2. Having hsv1 protects you against hsv2. Syzygies, You know many people are misdiagnosed, you were misdiagnosed for hsv. Many non infectious or infectious diseases can mimic hsv.
HSV 2 immunity https://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/hsv-questions/show/686439.
Oral sex https://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/HSV-2/show/1800860.
HPV is very common, hpv usually goes away on its own within 2 years. Most people are asymptomatic.
I have never seen syphilistic chancre in the oral area, it's not common, most chancres are seen in genital area and anus. Some evidences say oral sex is the main cause of the rise of syphilis. I don't agree, because most people practising oral sex also engage in vaginal or anal sex. Syphilis is easily treated in early stages. It's easy to cure late latent syphilis, three injections, once a week for three weeks is enought to cure late latent syphilis or to stop tertiary syphilis to cause further damage. People with late latent syphilis are not likely to develop neurosyphilis but they may develop benign tertiary syphilis (gummas) or heart diseases. Neurosyphilis often starts in the early stages. Most cases of neurosyphilis are asymptomatic. Neurosyphilis happens more often in people with lowered immunity (HIV and other causes), daily intramuscular injections for 14 days will stop neurosyphilis from causing further damage but won't reverse the damage that are already done. Penicillin is the best treatment for syphilis in any stage. When people with syphilis is treated in early stages, they are partially immune to syphilis. Untreated people or people treated in late stage are immune to syphilis. Tabes dorsalis (myelopathy today) and general paresis (Dementia today) are inexistent today. To me, there is no link between tabes dorsalis and syphilis. Because penicillin doesn't stop the progression. Today myelopathy is caused by other medical causes. Some people with primary syphilis won't develop secondary syphilis. That means you will remain negative becuse your first defence killed the pathogens before progressing to the secondary stage. Early treatment when the chancre developed will also prevent your test (TPHA) to become positive if the initial test was still negative, that means you won't be partially immune.

HPV is with you for life and if transmitted to women many strains cause cervical cancer.
