Well though I normally don't meddle in the Bogota section, I did read your reports.

IMO, for little or non spanish speaking guys, that are used to being spoon fed chicas like in Curacao, Panama, or St M, a place more like the Medellin Mansion, in Medellin, may more suit you than trying to navigate your way around Bogota.
Just a thought.

As it happens sometimes, a combination of feeling kind of groggy, lots of work, and being in the company of a female colleague (-1 on any scale) worked against me going around as much as I wanted.

Anyway, today for the first time from my arrival on Monday I succeeded to get myself together and go 'exploring'.

You must know, I love walking about. Wherever I am, I am looking to understand the place, looking at the people, at the shops, at the traffic. Anything, really, to get into the place where I am.

Since Bogota is really big, I selected a destination relatively close from my hotel, one of the 'casas' mentioned by Tung (my thanks), Chicas Milenio, Calle 71 # 14A-20. It is a good 30 minutes walking from my hotel, just follow calle 70, cross the Transmilenium line, move a couple of calles, and there you are.

Why a casa? Well, a combination of factors, really. First of all, I am a cheap bastard. I love sex, I like hookers, but I am not paying though the nose for it. Secondly, I like quite environments. Noisy and dark discos and bars simply do not attract me at all. I want to understand the place before getting down to business, observe the girls, relax, enjoy the calm. I hate to be rushed or pushed into anything.

Thirdly, there is the environment factor. I do not mind taking some risks, but the idea of getting in the middle of a wolf pack for a piece of ass is something

I don't do, unless there is no other option.

Anyway, once arrived the man at the entrance greeted me, and invited me to get in. The mamasan asked me to take a sit, and the girls lined up and introduced themselves. Another reason why I like casas, by the way girls introduce I can often spot a good match. If a girl clearly don't like me, I normally won't go for her.

After that, I sat down and started to look around. The place is new, and I need to understand how it works. I observed the girls, to start with. No stunners, but a couple between a 7 and a 8. One, not in the number of options, was clearly bored to death and half asleep.

I had a beer and relaxed. A few men came in, and I took the chance to try understanding the standard customer of such place. Good feeling, middle aged people, neatly dressed, no drunken or drugged moron. A couple were in jacket and tie, obviously just out of the office and looking for some time of pleasure.

Eventually chosen Liz, a 25 something, dark skinned girl, with a warm smile and a nice rack. Approached, politely asked if she wanted to join me, paid the 40. 000 for half hour and headed upstairs. BTW, prices on Tung's list are outdated, now it is 60. 000 for the hour. I opted for the cheaper option, as I normally do, because I wanted to test the waters.

Upstairs, chatted with her for a bit and eventually got into action. The room was clean and neat, a bit small, but large enough for the purpose. The lady undressed, revealing a nice body, but stretch marks revealed a pregnancy. CBJ followed, not bad, offered to please her with a 69 which she accepted against a propina (obviously). Asked 20. 000, offered 10. 000, which she accepted.

She enjoyed it. And within a few minutes she was soaking wet and started to moan, while she was working on my assets. When ready, I took her first in mish, then doggy, and then mish again. I nice 20 minutes or so of sex, nothing special, but pleasant. She could take a man, and her tits were bouncing nicely during action. She was clean and well cared of. No GFE experience though.

Despite the low wow factor, I saw potentials for future encounters. The vibe was good, and investigated if she was available to come to my hotel. She quoted 50. 000 + taxi for the hour, left me her digits, and advised me that I should call her directly. If I called the place instead, she would have to pay the 'salida', and charge it back to me (20.000).

Left the place, and walked back to the hotel. Bogota is really very polluted, the smog is heavy, and in combination with the 2600 meters above sea level walking was unpleasant.

So, for 19 Euro I had my little daily diversion. A good deal, pleasant company, and an experience I would repeat. The surroundings of the place are not too bad, although I would not get there walking during dark hours.

Fact is, I came to hate Bogota taxi drivers. I took a ride twice a day during my staying, and at least half of the times they tried to scam me. I can waffle some Spanish, look latino, but they still try.

Next time, I would probably go for incall with her. I reckon that the whole lot, including taxi and propina would probably cost me around 30 Euro. Close to nothing v. The standards I am used to.

If it's any consolation they try and scam the locals too.

Taxi drivers here try to scam everyone. If they think you're tired drunk and/or from out of town it gets worse. One time I nearly got into a fight with a guy because the fare came to 9400 with the 1600 night surcharge came to 11k and the motherfucker turned the meter off thinking I didn't see where it came to and INSISTED it was 16k.

Interesting topic because I am as gringo as they come, light skin, green eyes, light hair, very tall, no spanish, walk and move like a gringo (we do walk and carry ourselves much differently) and yet I have had no bad experiences in my 3 travels through Colombia with taxi drivers.

I was twice this year (2 weeks in January and the whole month of May) in Bogota and a few other cities and NOT ONCE did any of my taxi drivers try to cheat me. I speak no spanish but maybe my size of 201 cm makes them not want to get this tall gringo mad.......:-)

I even made a few very good friends with a certain taxi driver and his family and he insisted on buying me a drink, taking me on trips at no charge, etc.

No it's not that.... I'm 191, 108kg, tattoos, rough looking... you just got really lucky.

It depends a lot on the hour... during the day they are almost always honest, after 8pm it gets worse and worse until 4am or so... getting out of the bars when they close is the worst, they assume you are drunk and try to scam you.

Some say she looks tall, other say she looks short. She is not tall (about 5'4"). She is not fat. But ni flaca. The picture makes it. Very pleasant girl.
