Wait to judge until after your trip
How sad. I am glad that it will be my first and last trip to Thailand. I do not blame thai women for such rude behavior. Apparently there has to be something which makes them behave that way. But I do not have anything to do with this and I refuse to be a part of such community. I will still do my trip and have fun but I guess I do not want to go back.
I have been mongering in Columbia and mexico. Man those places treat me like a king. Bouncers in mexico do not even check me when I enter the club. Not only that, Once I enter, they announce in the club (PEOPLE FROM INDIA. PEOPLE FROM INDIA. HERE TO HAVE FUN). I tip girls generously and do not bargain on anything. All I care about is true GFE and I don't mind paying as long as its not a high ball offer. With such attitude, I almost have had GFE with most of the girls I go with.
I am extremely sensitive to racistic attitude and it kills my mood. No sex is worth if you get insulted. Its degrading yourself and no one deserves that. Especially after taking a trip from USA to BKK and with wallet full of money ready to spend on these girls.
What a irony. I wish I knew this before making my plans and booking tickets.
It's sad that you feel this way at this point. I really hope it doesn't taint your trip. Just so you know, while being white I've never been denied entry to any place, but being white I've been completely ignored at places that favor Japanese (Thermae in particular and some a go gos). It's hard to really know for sure, but I think I'd rather know before going into a place that I don't have a chance with any of the ladies.
It's not just Thailand that does this. I was in Bodrum in Turkey many years ago. When I would walk into a club, the bouncer would say something to me in Turkish, I would respond with something like,"I'm sorry, I don't understand you." Then they would reply "Oh, I thought you were someone else."
This happened many places, so I thought either something was up or I had a Turkish doppelganger. At one club, I saw the bouncer pull the same thing with someone else and he responded similarly. He was wearing a Dollhouse (strip club) T-shirt from North Carolina (I believe). I pointed to the shirt and asked him how the place was and he had no idea what it was. I found out he was Turkish, but when the bouncers talked with him he pretended to be American because the clubs denied single Turkish men in the clubs. Their reason was "Turkish men get into fights and don't spend money."
I wonder if a tip to the bouncer would get you in to show you plan to spend money. As far as I understand it, the bar owners are afraid that the Indians will order one cheap drink and nurse it all night taking space from "paying" customers.
