Okay, boys, several of you clearly know Phuket inside and out. So, for the benefit of the rest of us, here's a question for you: if you had only 24 hours to spend in Patong, where would you go and why?
Your answers will greatly help those of us who don't live in Phuket or Thailand and are much more limited with our time available there.

81 USD is too expensive. Visit latestays.com .Currently they are charging 2300 baht. Try the Burasari or Baan Yin Dee, both nice places and better value for money. I am not sure about any joiner fees however.

Yes, we had some rain, but last two/three days were better already.
You are asking about what to do if you only have 24 hours, that is really a difficult one. I would visit some of the following places: Christins', SeaHag or PanYaah restaurant, Patong Beach, TaiPan, Margarita bar, Bars at Soi SeaDragon, Molly Malone.
But there is so much more

Get on a songthaew to PhuketTown, rent a HondaDream for B150 a day and explore the goddamned island! See Panwa - don't forget to stop for a B10 coffee or softdrink, ChalongBay, go up PhuketHill, check out the road along the WestCoast.
At 5PM pick up a girl from a quiet bar, pay B500 LT+barfine, take the girl to see the sunset on PromthepCape.

Last night I had a look @ the lineup @ Christins just to verify it wasn't gonna happen.

Let's say your 24 hr starts at 10am.
Stay only in Patong to avoid spreading yourself too thin. First of all, you could start with a good breakfast at the many streetside restaurants on Soi Bangla or "200 year" road and just get a feeling of the town for an hour. Look at the faces, the tourists, locals. Shouldn't cost more than B150.
At 11am wash it down with a beer on the beach. The sun is not the strongest yet. Have a swim, enjoy the beach and the scene. It's very relaxing just to be there. (of course watch your stuff and don't take much cash).
At 12 noon Christine's massage opens and they have some nice ladies there. One and a half hour will set you back arond B2500 including a couple of drinks and some tip for the girl. The rooms are really good and so is the service. The girls get trained thoroughly before commencing work (by the papasans-poor boys!). You get sex-session No.1.

I'm sorry I can't answer a question about that Impana Phuket Cabana hotel, but I can recommend a very nice and quiet little hotel that was also inexpensive called "Casa Summerbreeze".
I live in a 5 star hotel year round because of my job, and this place isn't so nice like that, but it's a great value for the money and it really is quite good and very girl friendly. I also stayed at several other hotels in Patong before I found this little gem. Check it out.

If you have budget of 5000 THB a day you should go well around, you can fing a hotel in the price range 700 to 1200 bhat a night, food is cheap, I know foreigners who live on a 200 Baht a day food budget. The girls( that why we are going?) will cost from 500 and up, barfine is usual 200 Bhat in Phuket. It depends of the girl, the plce, is she a freelancer, thye can you find in the discos like Banana Club, Tiger, VIP or Star Wars, as well on the beach or some of the food places.
