Isaan Region (including Udon Thani, KK, Khorat)

Please don't ridicule my maps - I just made them on Paint; my first exercise on that software. I hope they help.

My friends and I pressed on to the large and vibrant city of Khon Kaen, where we first looked in on Kosa and Ceasar massage parlours. The selection as always was better at Ceasar than Kosa. We did not take however as we wanted to explore the town more fully.

We then splurged by visiting a place called 'Narakhun Resort', which they had heard was rather naughty. This place is very secluded, in a new area of town near the Northeastern Technology University. This is a 'private' university which my friends said might mean lots of students who would be willing to go on the game.

The resort in question was really over the top - very luxurious, dining and drinking overlooking a band area and a swimming pool with fountains. It looked like the Playboy Mansion! Lots of really beautiful and very 'done up' girls in attendance as hostesses. The girls cost 170 baht per hour to sit with you, hugging and subtle groping allowed. The place presented a bikini show in the pool with four or five girls dancing 'sexily', but somehow in that Thai way not sexy at all. Have any of you ever been to these Thai places? About as stilted and awkward as one can imagine.

Our girls informed us that they were not allowed to leave with customers until 2 AM, and that whether they did so after that time was entirely up to the girls. Some would, some would not, and even among the go-ers, it depended on the guy, the price offered, etc. They said that with older, more repugnant gentlemen the price would be 4-5 thousand baht(!), but they offered themselves to my good looking 30ish colleagues for 2,000, and numbers were exchanged. They said that most of the girls feared to go with farang due to the size, communication, and sexual style fears. However one of them pressed upon me the phone number of her friend (who did not work there), who she said was 19 and attractive, and very open to farangs for 2,000 baht.

I think this Narakhun Resort would be good for the very well heeled farang visitor, and would perhaps be a foot in the door to the extensive network of high end girls (mostly students or student types) available by phone in Khon Kaen. Our bill with some snacks, and about one big beer and one girl/hour per man was 700 baht each!

The girls also informed us that if we wanted to fuck immediately at the high end, we should visit LG Kareoke in the Pullman Hotel, where they said the girls would go readily and before closing time for 2,500 baht. They also mentioned that sexy fully nude shows, with some lesbian action, were available in the private rooms for 500 baht (3 girls). We next visited LG Kareoke but at midnight it seemed every girl was already busy in the private rooms or had left with clients so we didn't stay.

Finally we ended up the night picking up streetwalkers around the bus station - the number of girls wasn't as much as I had seen on previous nights but all three of us managed to get a cute one. It was however much more difficult to find one white enough for my pickiest friend - we had to drive round several times. Then off to Playboy hotel by car, with the girls following on motorbikes - it seemed quite a motorcade as each girl brought her own bike. While we were quoted all sorts of prices around the station we ended up bargaining (easily) to the real price - 500 baht. I took a girl I'd had before who, for a 300 baht tip, provided decent BBFS.

In the attached map you can see where are all the places mentioned, and in addition the small brothel soi that runs off of or near the central 'traffic circle' (really more of a traffic triangle - the one with the temple in the middle). Lastly while there are streetwalkers at the edges of the bus station, many are found on the large street behind the bus station called (I think) 'Nasoonratchakan' Road.

The maps are excellent Opebo. Better than That Asshole's maps. Wonder what happend to him? He was the most prolific poster for more rural destinations. Good to see that there are someone who still does field research.

Opebo, your maps are much appreciated, many thanks. I'm not too fond of relying on tuk tuks for finding action, so these are heaven sent. Love the style: main roads, hotels and sex -- exactly what we need.

Just one thing -- in the future, could you please make the text few times bigger -- so that the old geezers among us can read the labels without squinting?

Dateline - Khon Kaen:

I returned to try out the Cleo Kareoke in the Pullman Hotel - wow, what a high-end brothel! I'd been directed there by a girl at Narakhun Resort, and given a name to look for - I found the recommended girl and took her to a kareoke room for Cokes. She sang desultorily, and eventually we got round to the discussion of going somewhere. She quoted 5,000 baht! Of course I immediately declined and asked for the check (which was 400 for two cokes and an hour of time), but she eventually came down to 2,000. I honestly believe this is the 'real price' - i.e. the lowest they'll go.

Off we went, her on motorbike with me following by car. First hotel, no rooms available, and then things got weird - she asked for the 2,000 up front! Well, I know that paying up front is the norm in Thai oriented establishments, and I was curious to see where this would lead, so I paid. Then after following her for a while towards some hotel she said she knew, she lost me, and I tried calling numerous times but she'd turned off her phone. I honestly think she lost me by accident, but she never turned up.

I went back to the venue and acted mildly upset - not angry of course, just as if they'd killed my mother. They were actually quite decent about it, immediately repaying the 600 baht bar fine, and saying they were considering paying me the 2,000 and trying to get it back from the girl later. In the end they offered another girl for free. I was reluctant but took a slim beauty.

Again, off to a hotel - no short time ones for these money-wasters: had get get a full 450 baht room. Next, terrible service occurred, as expected, but finally I was relieved via hand job. Service at the high end is so absurdly bad it almost makes you laugh.

I will say that for anyone who prefers extremely good looking girls and doesn't mind terrible service and high prices, the Cleo Kareoke is a good choice. The patrons seemed to be Japanese and rich Thais, so basically the girls are virgins, for all practical purposes (dimensionally speaking).

A final note - the girls in this place were as good looking as any prostitutes I have ever seen anywhere, but of course they were still not quite as good looking as the university girls teeming around town with their young Thai boyfriends.

Sorry, guys, I haven't posted anything for months here. I've been pretty busy with other matters (including a regular girlfriend!) and my mongering activities have been sporadic more or less since the beginning of this year.

Anyway, information about Nong Khai brothels is in need of an update as my latest report on this topic is not accurate anymore. One can still find several brothels on Soi Sri Boon Ruang 2 and on Meechai road as stated above, but my previous favorite one in this area does not have anymore mostly girls with big breasts.

I have to say that the quality has dropped down dramatically there, alas. Where I knew several very pretty Lao girls (and with whom Mother Nature has been very generous too) till the end of last year, now one can only find a few average looking (5 or 6/10 at most) providers and if some of them are not "flat-chested", their tits are certainly not as impressive as those of the majority of the previous workers that used to stay at this place.

The only good news is that more brothels open earlier in the day since the beginning of this year. I've been in this area several times in the early afternoon and was able to usually find 3 to 5 opened houses with a few girls (2 to 6 in most cases) available then.

Prices are still the same in this area: 300 baht on premises for one shot during a 30-45 min. session (approximately, but once you're known at one place, you can even stay longer without any hassle) and 500 baht for a longer one (60-90 min. approximately). Most of the girls are 18-22 years old, but older women are available too (some look like they are in their late 30s, old enough to be grannies in this country and they probably are!). Service quality varies a lot, of course depending on the provider, but BBJ is not a rarity (but swallowers are) and 3-holers can be found too (or some 2-holers can be converted with an incentive). But overall, for the same amount of money, quality is higher in Udon Thani (on Soi Fai Deng for instance) in my humble opinion, at least regarding the beauty and variety of the girls.

Thanks for the excellent report as usual Goyave. Have you been to Udon Thani lately to check on the brothels? Last I visited they were virtually closed down due to a 'hidden camera' expose on the Thai news, alleging '[url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord908][CodeWord908][/url]' and causing a police crackdown. This was a few months ago though - I haven't checked back as I hate to waste the money to travel there until I know they are at least partially re-opened.

Well, I visited Soi Sow Fai Deng just a few days ago and it was business as usual. I haven't checked Soi 2 on Adunyadet recently, but last month, I noticed that my two favorite places there were closed (it was in the mid-afternoon then), but several others were still operating. Not a great choice of girls at that time of the day, but it's still the same price (400 baht for Farangs, 300 for Thais) on premises in most of the establishments in this area.

The other venue on Prajak Road (which I mentioned in a previous report) is still operating too, but opens later at night. It used to open around 7 pm, but now, it's probably after 9 pm. The choice of girls is very limited there now (I saw only 3 working girls at 10 pm on my latest visit) but the price has not changed either there (300 baht for Farangs, 250 for Thais).

Any better directions to Soi Sow Fai Deng, I walked around the TOT area and couldn't easlily pick out the street or any brothel close-by.

Have been to Soi 2 and Soi 7, definitely worth a visit for anyone visiting Udon Thani.

Oscars is a good Soap Massage place, 1300 baht for the fishbowl and 1800 for sidelines (they sit to the left of the fishbowl). Average lookers, but service is top notch!!!

Soi Sow Fai Deng is not near TOT, but opposite CAT International Phone Office, on Wattana Nuwong Road (not far away from the crossroad with Udon Dutsadi Road).

I made a flying visit to Korat city recently, unfortunately encumbered with a sugar mama. I did manage to sneak away for one visit to the soapy atop the hotel near the new Bus Station - I think it is called 'Pikasaw' or something like that, and I'm pretty sure it used to be called 'Pegasus.

The girls there at 8:00 PM numbered around 25, and most were good looking, though few real standouts. I took a tallish slimmish one and received adequate service, including a BBBJ. Her price was 1,700, but there were others in the group that were 1,400 - however the dividing line was not clear.

I also checked out the main location of Ginza, where I found fewer girls and lower quality, but in fairness it was at about five PM. They had about six fishbowl girls at 1,200 and about three better looking girls in a sort of sideline area for 1,800. Nothing really appealed to me, and I left. However the old papasan informed me that Ginza had 8 locations around Korat, and that most were cheaper and smaller than this main location.

Alas due to my 'freebie' trip I could not escape at the right times to check out the Park or any other freelancer area. Last time I visited there was several years ago, and the quality was astoundingly bad, so I'd like to see if it has improved any. Unlikely I know, but hope springs eternal.
