Went out on Saturday night. Ipanema was a little sad with no band. There were enough girls and an equal amount of punters. I arrived around 10 and noticed the best looking girls were being taken out early. Narrowed down a couple of girls I would consider, but the urge to check out Brix was to great. Brix at 12 pm was very busy with a lot of guys. Still plenty of girls to choose from but it was very dark and hard to see, as well as being quite crowded with males. The band was good however. I took a girl who claimed to be Cambodian, but was of course from Vietnam for 550 overnight 4 shots. Brix is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so all the Brix girls apparently head to Ipanema on those days.

Prices are up on pre pandemic, I was quoted 1000 by hot babes and 5-600 by less hot.

Ipanema was quieter, a few girls but nothing stood out, it was also closed Sunday night and No tea dance either, so only the club upstairs and slim pickings. First time in Singapore in a long time that I have not taken a girl, just nothing did it for me and couldn't justify the prices. Things change and move on so do we, and we get older too. Wiser!

Trying to treat the girls there as hookers will land you in a Singapore police station pretty fast. Brix girls are worth nowhere near 1000 SGD and you can also go to Ipanema in OT where ST can be had from 200 to 300 SGD. I guess some may try for a lot more but there are not enough stupid tourists here for them to stick to it. Just for reference online young Thai girls are beeing offered for $150 for 90 min, two shots including DFK, BBBJ and more. Also Geylang is open and for a short no frills fuck you can do it for SGD 60 with Thai and Viet girls. So put that in perspective when offering the Brix girls some obscene amount. Hi Expat, thanks for your detailed views. Were are these so called aunties found? I been to Sing only once way back 2017 and met two interesting masseuses from locanto in their private houses. Service was quite good. I ventured around Geylang too but was not comfortable roaming there with many locals awaiting services in strait lines in the popular houses. With regards to online services both locanto and the SBF have some interesting working ladies.

The news is finally confirmed that license will not renewed for any bar in OT.

This is not surprising as the building was sold. Some have said it was unspoken conditions of sale. I think that makes sense. Why have the theses bars at one of the prime retail locations in Singapore. Pravda and LV and OT together LOL.

I recall a few hot and fun Chinese girls who regularly manned a couple of the 2nd floor cubicles, where everything was available, quick and relatively cheap. Or having a drink in one of the bars and chatting up the Vietnamese girls looking for outcall. And open pretty much every day from noon until past midnight.

No doubt the place became an embarrassment to city leaders, as everyone knew what went on there, but the safety concerns were pretty much non-existent. At least until some idiots killed a guy on the front steps over some altercation in the club. But for westerners, safety was not a concern at all.

RIP OT. I wonder if another venue will become the new place to sample lots of goods in one contained environment.

Is this being repeated in Singapore? Ok Geylang will still be there, but really cheap end of the market. Following recent reports that Brix is also soon to close, and now OT, either a new all singing and dancing location will host the many girls of Ipanema, Brix and the rest of OT or otherwise Singapore will quickly disappear from the P4 P map.

I recall reading many years ago the Geylang and OT had some "special dispensation" from the government for LE to turn a blind eye to the activities due to the "tourism benefits" that resulted.

Since then, the SWs of Geylang have been moved on, but attitudes to off-street activities appear to remain unchanged (even if the market has dropped off due to Covid). Singapore has become much more sophisticated in recent times, so perhaps it doesn't need to rely on p4 p as much. Finding suitable new premises might be a challenge?

Went by OT in June this year after 2 plus years. It certainly looked pretty dull with most of the regular spots still closed. Had a few drinks at Ipanema, but there was no band in attendance and no DJ playing either if I recall, just some music playing in the background. Overall crowd inside was much lesser than before. Naughty Girls was open and had a band, but I didn't pop in.

A Filipino musician friend who played at OT for the longest time also is still holed up in Manila and also mentioned that OT was shutting down.

Although one can't really find any info online on when the place was sold off, but more seems like case of them slowly pulling the plug on OT.

Most of the guys are local expats, didn't see too many tourists. No band but loud dance music playing. A few other clubs in OT were open but nothing that much going on. Some small live bands (not great) and unattractive buy me drink (BMD) girls. Lots of half naked Chinese Milfs tugging on my arm for the "massageee" but of course never partake in that. Other options, Geylang is open but there seem to be shortage of women and lines of Bangla workers looking for the $50 fuck. Massage parlours are many and FS is available at quite a few but likely to get Milfs. Best bet is online where there is an explosion of Thai girls, most in their 20's and offering GFE fuck and suck for 150-200 SGD for 90 min. Also available at higher prices are the Viets and white girls. And then of course the exorbitant GPS local princesses as well. You also have SA which is very active and with work can find a young companion for maybe about 400-500 PPM but it takes a lot of work.

So in conclusion, yes you can still get laid here without busting the bank but honestly its just as easy to hop a $300 flight to Angeles or Pattaya.

Good summary. The current government approach seems to be, "tone down" the freelance bar side of entertainment. I would agree Singapore good times can be found but hoping on plane to Thai or indo much better.
