Pattaya Hotels

I think there are some people in your accounting department that may already be hip to what you are doing in Pattaya. After all, Pattaya is famous (notorious) for being, well Pattaya, the sex capital of Asia. Anyway, I feel your pain. So if you are looking for a hotel that is accounting department friendly as well as GF friendly, that is not a problem. Dusit D2, Marriott, Hilton, Areca Lodge, even Holiday Inn will all cut the mustard. I think I would avoid staying at the Intimate Hotel by Tim Boutique Hotel. That is a real funny name. I have stayed there and it is a nice hotel, but the name just does not sound kosher.

The reviews I found were mixed but they mainly complain about the 'service' which is not normally a big deal for me provided the accommodation is decent. But if anyone can advise of any positives or negatives (particularly negatives, for example is the aircon inadequate? Is the Internet too slow? Are there cockroaches six feet tall?) it would be much appreciated.

The answer appears to be yes, according to the 'bar girl friendly hotels' website (remove the spaces if you want to find the site).

Hello, anybody has an advice about condo to rent in Pattaya (not jomtien). Something like VT6 except that in peak season (Christmas) VT6 is fully booked. Any idea?

MD[/QUOTE]What level of per diem are you on, if it is high. Me for example get around 265$ per night in Asia-Pacific region. Would go for one of the better brands such as the Marriot, Amari & Dusit. It is good to have nice food joints in the hotel which can be expensed as well with proper receipts.

I just returned from Pattaya. I tried Jasmine hotel which is on a bylane on Walking Street. They are GF and don't charge when you get guests. You can opt for a sea facing room with a balcony on the 5th floor, the cost maybe about 1250 Baht per day. I had a good experience with this hotel. You should try Lucifer Disco and Insomnia which is open till early morning. Have a safe trip!

Macho Dik has to report to his wife. I doubt if he has a CorporateMachoDik diem.

I stay at the Flipper Lodge my last trip standard room INC breakfast is 1125 BHT a night with 4 night stay, they offer free Breakfast or Lunch from 8am. 2pm for you that get up late you can still have Lunch.

Both will be a 20 min walk to WS, just jump on the baht bus and you will be there in a jiffy. They can be a bit noisy though, check TA for full reviews and pics before you book.

Thanks for your reply. I am just about to booked reservation with flipper lodge. Wow. 20 mins walk to walking street? I presume Walking streeet in around Soi 15 or so1 16? Wherein flipper lodge is at soi 8. That will be far?

Sorry, almost forgot Pataya as my last trip there is way back 4 years ago. I wonder which is much better hotel now that will not really far from WS and girl friendly too. I need to booked at least tommorrow. Appreciated much for futher advise. I wonder like Dusit, LK or Areca or Marriot will be the best option? Are they girlfriendly? Accessible to WS?

Okay Gents,

Myself and 3 buds are going back to Pattaya soon, and we are debating between 2 hotels. Typically, my buddies have

Stayed at the Lk Empress in deluxe rooms but they say the prices are somewhat higher (like $95) per night. I frankly

Don't care about the price, but my buddies are somewhat more frugal.

Here are our choices:

1) Miracle Suite $48 per night on Agoda, they are calling it a 4 star. It looks pretty similar in design and room quality to Lk Empress, but photos don't tell much as they could have been taken when the hotel opened.

2) Aya Boutique Hotel is $67 per night for a nice looking modern deluxe room. Looks like the Aya is closer to Walking Street (only 1. 4 km vs. 2.6 km for Miracle Suite).

If anyone can respond about either of these hotels, or preferably if you have stayed at both we would much appreciate it.

The BF in Pataya seems to be much highier than BKK? In BKK its normal for all bar at 600bht. How about the LT and ST rate there?

My budget per nigh range between 2000 to 3000 BHT. I have been staying at Majestic Grande in BKK with corporate rate of 2700BHT only. But this time wish to spend 2 nights in Pataya instead.
