The African-American must have turned the German and his wife into a Copa-dope.

Droga raia
Hello Gentleman,
I'm back in the states so a little advice about getting a rapid antigen for return to the USA. PCR tests will not work because all tests must be within 24 hrs of your flight and rapid PCR is very hard to find in Brazil.
I was "reliably" informed by the US Embassy that Clinica Galindo Campos on Ave Nossa Sra was the place to go. The morning before my flight I went there whereupon they said they only did PCR tests and referred me to a Sergio Franco down the street. I waited in line for an hour at said Sergio Franco before determining that yes, they did rapid antigen testing, but at a different location.
BM who are saying things like "oh its super easy, just walk into any Pacheco" are spreading disinformation, this is not true. Maybe one Pacheco somewhere in the vast expanse of Pachecos does this, but even then might not be a rapid.
Good luck.
Sounds like an ordeal, not something you want to do on vacation. All the places you mentioned are diagnostic labs or Medical clinics, did you try a drugstore or Pacheco. In my limited experience in Brazil, almost all Droga Raia offer a rapid antigen test that takes less than 20 minutes. Maybe I just hit the right ones! Better to plan a day ahead and make an appointment for the next day.

Darkroom, freelancer
So I hit darkroom today. I picked a girl who shall go unnamed, and since she would not DFK, I canceled, and the casa refunded the $140. So overall it is a positive for Darkroom. It may be because I am a vagabundo and have fucked half a dozen girls there, flirted with her. Generally, this is a bad move to get good service, as obviously all the girls talk. No big deal. It's like shaking hands to get laid in Rio, so.
I had a girl who came into town and I set up a session with her at her local. I came twice up her ass, and I paid $300, which is what, less than $60 USD. So, I am hitting the rack. Overall, it was a great session and Vagabundo is happily getting some sleep.

Figure this out ahead of time so you're not stressed out.
I don't know what happened with your experience but I have been to the same Pacheco (534 Nossa Senhora) like 5 times last year and it always worked the same. Walk to the back and the guy at the computer gives you a slip with the test you want. You take the slip to the front cashier and pay. Take the receipt to the back again and the guy puts you in the computer. You wait in line in front of the door on the right. The lady comes to get you, you sit down, then she swabs your nose. She tells you to go wait outside. After 10 minutes the guy calls you back to the desk to give you the printout and it is also emailed. 15 to 20 minute process depending on how many others are in front of you in the line in front of the door.
But it is only select Pachecos. All of them do not do tests. It appears they now have an oral test that is R89.90 instead of the nasal swab that I have been taking for R110.
...But it is only select Pachecos. All of them do not do tests. ...
Enter covid test in Google map and it will show the list. I think the original poster was lucky and also posted incorrect information because he said PCR test, instead of antigen.
For all mongers from the USA. Please do not worry about the 24 HR timeline. The USA does not use hours as a timeline. It uses days and it has from the start. It reads:
Effective December 6, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers two years of age and over entering the United States (including USA citizens and Legal Permanent Residents) to present a negative COVID-19 test result a negative taken no more than 1 day before departure, or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days. Airlines must confirm the negative test result or proof of recent recovery for all passengers prior to boarding. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.

So, you can take a test more than 24 hrs in advance. For example, my flight usually leaves SP around 10 pm on Sunday which means I have to do my test ONE day before my flight which is Saturday and I can do it at any time on Saturday. I used to take the test on Thursday afternoon in São Paulo back when the requirement was THREE days and not 72 hours.

Gringos fighting each other is probably just comedy for the locals. Like porta dos fundos.

Lunch at VM
Had some free time around 1pm, so I visited VM for an afternoon snack. Not many girls. Everyone said to come back later.
But I did find a slim 18-year-old morena, no kids, named Sophia. Very cute girl. Sessioned with her $r65 for 30 minutes, and gave her a $r10 tip.
I don't know if this is the right thread but any suggestions (besides Viagra, Cialis, etc) on shorting the waiting period between sessions? I'm in fairly good shape, workout all the time. 46yrs old. It takes me a while to get back up and running after that first release. Would like to get 2 sessions in at the Casa's / Prives / My place with escort / in that hour.
Maybe taking the Viagra / etc right after the first session may help.
Natural testosterone or something like that. Harder to keep this routine on vacation for me especially with drinking, which I don't do at home. But even a modified / shorter workout in the mornings may help. I definitely put it in my notes for the next trip.

I got sick in the middle of my stay and went to a Droga Raia in Ipanema for a rapid test, results were in Portuguese and emailed approx 5 hours later, cost was $28.73 on my credit card. For my return flight to the US, I paid for a mobile service to come to my hotel room the day before I flew out (the day before, more than 24 hours as the rule stipulates). The hotel arranged the service in my room, the results were in English and emailed within about 6 hours later, cost was $56.18 on my credit card. The email address which sent me the results: biomedcarelaboratorio@gmail.com . Convenience vs cost can always be debated and the test was only scrutinized once when I checked in with the airline, but this is not something I'd want to cut corners on. Mobile testing will continue to be a viable business in 2022 tourist areas, so costs should come down. The one downside is the service came an hour early and I was balls deep in a cutie, made for a comical 5 minutes in the room during the test. The 2 nurses weren't hot but very professional and low key.

About a week and a half out, I started doing a little recon on what Pacheco I needed to go to and what time etc. When I stopped at the first one, the lady pointed to the wall and said not here, but these locations are my three choices _See attached photo_. So I made my way onto 534 NS Copa which was the closest to my apt and I made an appointment. Turns out, I'm glad I did because when I arrived at my appointed time, there was a long line of Americans and Euros who were there for walk ins. Maybe it was the timing (tourist trying to leave after the New Year) or maybe it was coincidence. Another good thing about making an appointment is the guy who does the tests is not there everyday, and they'll let you know what days work / don't work so you can plan ahead.
