What's the Situation on the ground?
No street carnival in Rio this year.
https://odia.ig.com.br/rio-de-janeiro/2022/01/6310182-rio-tem-o-carnaval-de-rua-cancelado.html
I was actually thinking of going to Rio from the Feb 25th to the 5th of March to experience carnival. I heard the bloco parties really spice up the whole city but looks like it'll be sort of mild this time around huh. Haven't booked anything yet but wondering if it's worth it to go or not? Feels like it might be a lite carnival which could be a good thing and a bad thing. The last thing I want is to book my flight and reservations and then have everything cancel, still plenty of things to do in Rio granted but I want to get the authentic Rio energy that only carnival brings out. I have an SP girl I'll be flying out to party with so the low number of girls in the termas and such won't be an issue for me.
Terma recon post New Years
The termas have all reopened after the New Years holiday. On Monday, the only one open was 4 X4. Usually Monday's suck there but there were actually a lot of girls working maybe 40 around 8 pm. Sessioned with a newbie. Can't remember her Terma name but hit the jackpot. Great session. Last night, Wednesday I hit Solarium. They have always been my favorite Termas with the best quality of girls. Obviously to each his own. A lot of my regulars have left recently. I am close with a bunch of girls there and a lot are headed abroad to greener pastures. 2 went to Portugal, 2 Chile, and 1 Switzerland. Another moved over to Centaurus. Crazy but I've still never been there after all these years. There were about 25 girls working Wednesday, still alot of good quality and fresh faces. Tomorrow I'm going to give Monte Carlo it's first try of 2022.
