Dude,
I met this girl Carolina and partied with her many times.
I'm planning a return trip to Cartagena in early March and would like to hook up with her again.
Hope that is not a problem for you?
PLease concentrate on your own life, don't get so over protective of the world.
Studly Hung Well
Damn! She has a banging body!
She looks great! Wow!
Show some ass photos! I can tell she has some nice ass curves!
Well, I never saw this girl but I know where she take that pictures the name is kromofoto, jajajaja and the owner is a very good friend. I can find personal her phone number in the sistem. Ohh I'm bad. LOL
This weekend I will take the picture with my cellphone and find her. In ldv or tu candela or electra o diva o studio54 o blabla all the night bar.
Also this girl anyone know? She live in laguito she was a good client for a friend but I can not find her. The only place where I no look yet is in the hell but is hot down there.

Do you realize you could be sued because you illegally provided the phone number... without consent to do so.
Hey Urb,
I'm not familiar with a law prohibiting the providing of phone numbers. I googled and couldn't find anything.
Is this some kind of Colombian law, or does it exist in the U.S. also?
Please provide a link to it or tell me where to learn. I'm curious.

Hello Dodger,
The point that I was trying to make was that if a crime was to be committed, that was the result of someone providing a phone number that was not available through public means, it is quite possible, the person providing the number could be charged as an accessory to any criminal act that took place resulting from the passing of this phone number. In addition, if this phone number was stolen from a private file, it constitutes theft. Also, if the phone number was in a file that was confidential, and it was provided to others for reasons other than what it was originally intended, the company, or the person providing the number could be sued. I do not have the exact wording for the case law in front of me, and I am not about to waste my time going to find it, but I am certain you understand. I am not certain what your intent was on your post but this is my response to it and I will leave it at that.
Hey, I just returned from Cartagena:
I preferred LDV, Isis and Pleyboy for pro girls.
Electra: mainly for very late time partying (2AM-APM), most girls have been to LDV before so unless you like loud elecro music or are very late fiding a girl go to LDV instead.
Tu Candela: Good bar/dance/party place but it's mostly non pros as far as I could tell and they charge an entrance fee.
Isis: This bar has only pros (Number of girls: 10-15) and alos some decent dance shows, once an hour. No entrance fee, but the most expensive drinks of all places. Also the girls are most expensive here. The girls arrrive around 9-10PM, earlier than the other places.
LDV: best in my opinion. Like others have noted when comparing to Rio: "a Mini Help". (Number of girls: 20-30) Best time to go is 11. 30PM-02AM. Great disco/bar environment. No house fee, only freelancers, so prices are lower than Isis and girls more likelly to be friendly with you.
Pleyboy: Decent stripclub for Colombia standards but if you have seen US or other stripshows, then you will not be impressed. No table dances and pretty boring in my opinion, plus you have to pay for taxi back and forth which is USD 10 each way. At least for super gringo me!
LDV is my recommendation for Cartagena. If you have a couple more days to spend I would strongly suggest to spend 2-4 days in Bogota where mongering action is much better and more than half the price compared to Cartagena, see my posts in the Bogota section.
Wiild, Thanks for the Update!
Does anyone have info on the Casa's? Which ones are currently open, address, hours of operation etc. ?
Isis: I couldn't understand the format there? Very confusing, nothing like Tu Candela, Diva's or LDV.
I think they charge for "Ladies Drinks" and the price is outrageous! Can anyone confirm and if so approximately what is the price? For some odd reason I think I was grossly overcharged last time for a "Ladies Ice Tea" ! Exit fee? if so, what is the cost? Again I think it is quite high.
Pleyboy: Hours of operation? Exit fee for chicas? How much and Is it paid to the club like a Barfine?
Thanks Mates,
AM
Has anyone used http://www.cartagenacapitalltd.com?
The guy who runs it is out of Ft Lauderdale, seems nice, but the website doesn't come up in any search including poorbuthappy.
Juan and Mery seem to have their best units rented already for the semana santa week of March.
Guy's is it possible to have a short report on the prices in Cartagena .
Thanks ,
John Jr
Could anyone speak to the table games and betting levels of those games available at La Perla? I have read that there are 5 Blackjack tables and 2 Poker tables (link below). Any details would be appreciated. I'll be there in 2 days and will provide an update afterward.

I have read (link below) that La Perla has 5 Blackjack tables and 2 Poker tables. Is this right? What are the betting amounts and what forms of poker are typical?

http://www.casinocity.com/co/cartagena/colperl/
I have only played Blackjack there, I have never seen more than 3 of the tables open at once, but there are 5. The betting limits were 3K to 100K.
There are 2 poker tables, but again I have only seen one being used. not enough business.
Hey Mates,
Can anyone give a short run down on what the "prices" should be for chairs, umbrellas, women and drinks on the Beach.
"Tony the tout" is always trying to pull a fast one and make a quick buck (has to support his coke habit). It would advantageous to have a general idea on what one should pay for these items before accepting his price and service.
Although, he's very helpful in all aspects I still hate the fact of being played or ripped off!
Any insight would be of great help!

Chair is 1000-1500. He will try for 4000. Umbrellas is 2000. He will try for 6000. Water is 1000-1500. I do not know other drinks but he once bought a drink for a girl without asking me and tried to bill me 15, 000. Practice saying "a-fuck-a-you Tony" as he understands this.

John Jr
Ok, you asked for it. Short report: fuc**** expensive.
Slightly longer report: I was there for a week ending on Sunday. My 5th or 6th time in Cartagena, the last time was two years ago. The places I visited were the usual: LDV, Tu Candela, Diva (first time for me), Mr Babillas, Electra.
LDV: obviously still the mainstay of the CTG scene. In comparison to my last time there, two years, prices have increased incredibly. Starting offers from 6s are 400k for 2 hours! Obviously I'm not going to pay these prices, but I'm sure many people do. Reasonably attainable prices are 200k TLN for a 6, for 7+ 300k TLN. Many people here will guffaw at that and will trot old stories about 60k TLN but, nah, it aint happening anymore. Those are the prices. Overall though, I thought the quality was as high, or low depending on your point of view, as always and not much else had changed.
Electra: read 'the new Giro Matto', which has now closed. Owned by the LDV owner, it's the same formula as Giro Matto cept there's no entry cost. Therefore, expect pounding electronic music, don't bother turning up before 3am, and tonnes of pros who haven't managed to turn a trick (or are turnign their second trick) and this is their last port of call before trotting back to pro-towers or wherever it is they live.
Tu Candela/Mr Babillas: no change really. 30-40% pros, a mixed crowd which can make it uncomfortable for some.
Divas: my first time here. If Electra is the new Giro Matto then Divas is the new Triplaterra, which has also closed. It's a bar in the same way Tu Candela is but it's 100% pro as was Triplaterra. The main problem is that it's always very quiet. I arrived at 12. 30am twice for there only to be 5 or so girls there and I was the only guy, so no vibe at all. Maybe it gets better later or at the weekend, dunno.
This was my least enjoyable trip to CTG of them all. But I won't read too much into this. It will inevitably get less exciting the more I visit it. And I would still whole-heartedly recommend it mongers new to Colombia.
A while back I was in a debate comparing CTG vs Rio. These days, I'd put Rio ahead of CTG hands-down in every way, the price increases in CTG have tipped it in Rio's favour.
Hope this was useful.
But the Spirit is willing. I am not sure if this is good news or bad news but Spirit have announced direct flights from Fort Lauderdale to Cartegena from May 8th 2008 and some tickets are $18 at the moment.
Caution: Spirit sucks - but at that price it may not be important. Just never check luggage with them!
Suerte!
