Hey I have been to MDE and speak a decent amount of Spanish.

Where would anyone of you suggest I stay?

I mean what hotel and what part of Cali?

How far is North and South Cali?

Personally, I recommend staying at the Cali Plaza. It's a gringo owned Apartahotel that is completely chica friendly. It's location is on Calle 15 off La Sexta. La Sexta is one of the main entertainment districts in the city. The area is full of bars, nightclubs and restaurants.

Thanks for the advice. I did send an inquiry via the website, but never got a response. Its always easier to just make your reservations online without having to do the email back and forth, but I guess thats how they do it. I liked being able to see the rooms' photos, but the old site went down like the day after I saw it for the first time! We'll see what happens.

I just bought my plane tix today. $157 roundtrip MIA to MDE for 7 days, with plans for three of those to be in Cali.

So, I went to the website for Hotel Del Rio to make reservations and submitted the online contact form. I got an automated email confirming that they received my request. Does that mean I'm confirmed/reserved or do I actually need to call? Should I be receiving another email at some point to confirm? Does anyone on the staff there speak English?

Rodeo[/QUOTE]Sorry about the delay in reply. I've just got back from 9 days in MDE and CTG. Cali Plaza is within 1/2 mile of all the Avenida 2 casas that are around the Torre de Cali. Faron and Clinica de Amor are in this area.

I don't plan on sleeping!

How about $7500 and a BMW X5? The girls on the Munecas show on Caracol are pretty average in my opinion. Ok, One is really hot but come on Narcos.
