Every man has to live for himself. I definitely would not stay somewhere where I am not happy. I was scuba diving in Belize a couple of weeks ago. There were a bunch of foreigners that go there every year and a bunch that live there. I don't know what they see in the place. It was good for a couple of days of scuba diving, but after that I was ready to get the hell out of there.

Has anyone experienced a one drink minimum charge at any of the Soi 6 bars when taking a girl upstairs for ST boom boom?

A few nights ago I was standing on the street outside I think it was callled "Lust on Soi 6" bar, and had negotiated with a girl for boom boom. She said that the room charge was 350 baht. Even confirmed the price in thai language, of which I know the numbers. Then when I got to the bar inside to pay for the room, the chick behind the bar said 550 baht.

I said WTF and walked straight out thinking I was being had.

Later I experienced something similar at "Miss be-Haven" bar where I was quoted 500 baht for "Room charge with no drink".

However everywhere else there has been no mention of any drink minimum, and room charges have been in the 350 to 400 baht range. And BTW, all chicks I have taken were really excellent fucks.

Lose a 300-350 baht barfine to make 100 baht off a lady drink (160 baht less 50 baht to girl less 10 baht for 'liquor' Also upset your girls since they lose a customer.

Never experienced this drink issue but I will always buy myself and the girl a drink no matter how hot she is. I throw back pretty duds all the time on Soi 6.

I ask because the topic of TG / Bar discrimination is well covered although ultimately boils down to your behavior and willingness to spend. Also, I have found that a beautiful face is quite subjective as there are more "Western" style looks which a place like Sapphire caters to vs. "Japanese / Korean" style which places like Palace, Baccara, etc. Would be better for.

I do wonder if those bar tabs can easily be 'voided' so the girl running the cashier area can pocket some money. Think I'd tell the girl behind the desk 'sure, give the girl a san miguel' and I'd drink the thing while the girl got her drink cut.

I love Pattaya, a regular reader but I generally stick to the Beach Road, love the value for money there. In the next trip I'm planning I am in mood to try out some fetishes. For instance I want a rimjob but I wonder how I will communicate that while picking up the girl at BR. Another is of a threesome but I think this is more suited to bar girls as two friends who get along can accompany me though I wish something on BR was available.
