I was just informed that if you can cross to one of the bordering counties of Shanghai, that the crackdown is no so much concerned about those areas. Going to to test the theory out tomorrow and will add a report when I know more.

A. There are a couple of good BBS at Ershan Lu in Pudong and farer outside near Longyang Lu Station of the Metro line 2. You need to take Byan lu (or so) from the Longyang Road and than the 3rd right. I think Feng. Road. BBBJ can be as low as RMB 100 (but than the place is quite run down and not so clean) (on Ershan Lu) and BJ with FS I get at the place near Longyang Lu at RMB 200 from a very pretty girl. It has 4 or 5 places.
B. When you go down Dongfang Road you will get to the junction with Zhangyang Road, turn left and keep walking. You will cross over a junction with the Merrylin Hotel on the left hand corner (also got a FS Sauna on the 5th floor but its pretty shit) and carry on to the next junction. Turn right and 1085 is set back from the road approx' 300m.

Then showed me four dogs which all looked away in panic from a foreigner. I declined and had to pay 88 rmb shower fee as they could not find any other girls to choose from. Unbelievable. Service had been already declining under new management but this was really the top of it. This used to be the best option in Pudong but I would really avoid this place!

Saunas in general don't close. Not for national holiday, not even for CNY, only less girls and early closing for one day. It is pretty unusual for the manager to tell you to come back. Usually they want you to stay inside and wait it out. I guess they are getting so much business they don't give a shit anymore. Check the thread again, there should be another sauna without walking distance of sacrosa. No idea if it is still opened.
