I feel so embaressed actually. Although iv been mongering for many years.

At one point I wanted to go to the toilet and I had the bouncers escort me to the bathroom and they actually went in with me inside. I realized the scam a but late in the game and honestly it was almost impossible to haggle with a few bouncers and staff etc. I wouldn't have been able to do anything. Well maybe they can offer a discount or something. Anyway I just decided to pay up and leave and bare with my stupidity.

However. Next day I went in on a risky trade (wanting to make my money back) and luckly facebook went up that day so made up for my shit.

I didn't really find similar reports on this forum (I'm an almost daily follower) - so thought of just sharing the wisdom 😂.

They can't do anything to me or force me to pay. What are they going to do? Get physical? That's an easy police call afterwards and they're finished.

But 4 k. F--k that. You can go to some of the best clubs in Dubai and get a table for prices much lower than that.

People need to stop fearing all these security and bouncers. They can't do anything to you. They can't force you to do something you don't want to and they won't get physical with you either because that will be their backsides in jail or a one way ticket out of here.

On the TripAdvisor website, guys had shared their experiences where in on Vaci Ut. 2 girls would come over and try to strike up a conversation. It will lead you into a bar where one would end up running a 500 euro bill. And then the bouncer will accompany you to the ATM and etc etc.

And while I was there, it really happened. 2 girls walked over to me, in Vaci Ut. , and started saying that they saw me in one of the Hot Springs Bath, etc. I just politely told them I am not interested in the drinks or anything and would only like to take a walk. And they left.

Then in 2009, when I was in Manila, one of my local friends took me to a strip club. Their deal was quite honest by comparison. Every time the waiter brought a drink, he would show the price on the bill and ask me to put my initials on it. Even when I had one of the girls sitting on my lap, he just won't compromise on his SOP.

So yeah, be a little careful don't be so naive.

I didn't even care to stop to talk to them, I don't need to fool myself. The chance that two girls speaking good English in a country when 99.9% don't and would target the obvious single foreigner and immediately talk in English when they should at least speak Russian first is an absolute 0.

As for the guy saying they won't get physical, true maybe in UAE. But even then, in that case yes but imagine it was a hooker, you're going to go to the police and tell them you were with a Hooker?

But 100% they would get physical in other countries, especially corrupt ones like Odessa. I saw bouncers literally throw a guy on the ground in front of a strip club in front of a ton of people in Krakow.

There are a million reviews about foreigners getting scammed thousands in Odessa clubs like Itaki. 100% the police knows about it and is a bunch of corrupt morons.

I think you got ripped off at RS. Price is 250 for entry plus two drinks, unless they changed again. At one point it was 150 without drinks I think.

We all make mistakes and it's okay to feel embarrassed afterwards. Hell, I made a really dumb mistake with this French con woman from Seeking Arrangement and it cost me 1500 AED and I still feel dumb and embarrassed by it. But it was a lesson learned. What's most important is that you analyze your mistake and not repeat it. There is scam all over the world, and Dubai is no different. I am cautious every day dealing with everyone because sometimes it seems everyone is out to rip you off, from the girls to the cabbies to the bouncers etc.

I went there with family friends so didn't go there to hunt but just to learn and observe since I am going there August 8th -14th and will definitely go there first except the entry fee and drinks were super duper expensive and a rip off.
[/QUOTE]I guess it depends on how crowded it gets. I was there last night, and they asked me 250 with 2 drinks, or 150 with no complimentary drinks. Since was past 2 am and I had less than 2 hours, I skipped it.

First off, thanks to all the folks who responded to my post here and DM to help me plan this. It worked very well, I must say.

After a busy morning at the famed Jumeirah spa (see my report in AMPS other areas), and hanging around in Baran without much success for a late lunch, crashed out for a couple of hours to get ready for the night. Spoke to the bouncers in the reception area first at night to make sure my double occupancy booking was valid for a pickup from the clubs. The bouncers take care of the girl registration, even when she is from outside. Just hang around the reception area a bit and you will likely see how it all works.

Hit Coochini around 10.30 and paid the 1 red cover charge. Spent 3 hours with a beer and the complementary fruit plate, I loved the atmosphere and music. Being a regular traveler to ME countries lately, have begun to even recognise some of the popular songs. The girls started coming in after 11, and there were a few stunners. Spoke to a couple of them early on, but they would not budge below 10 reds for ST. Tried to convince them that they could come back to the club in 2 hours and do an all night with someone else. But no luck. Bough them a drink and asked them to buzz off. Maybe Friday night competition, but rates were almost non negotiable. It did not help that there were 4-5 groups of guys literally throwing money at the singers there. Weekdays the girls might be more open to negotiate.

Headed down to red square at 2 am, I was not took keen to spend another 2. 5 red cover for less than 2 hours. Walked over to the library cafe across and chatted with the Russian and Uzbek managers. Russians were hot in demand, and were willing to wait. The managers would not budge on the prices. A young tall Uzbek caught my eye. She was trying to fit in the group, not too much talking, quick glances around, I could make out she was new in the scene. Asked her to come over and got her a drink, chatted a bit. Very little English, so the manager came over. Asked for 10 reds for 2 hours, laughed her off and countered 6. She said sorry and walked away. I sat sipping my drinks and flirting from far with the other Uzbek girls in the group. Just after 3 am, called the manager again and asked if she had an offer. She asked 8 reds, we agreed for 7 reds. Told her I would let the girl go at 5. 30 am.

Money well spent, the girl was young and hungry, nice body overall. Almost chewed my lips off in DFK, very aggressive. Super clean for DATY which got her going. Took her in mish, CG and doggy. Given the morning session, I ran much longer than usual. She handled it like a champ. After we cleaned up, started chatting about life with google translate. Picked up her number for a direct booking next time. Started round 2 with the usual stuff again and let her go tipping her 1 red. Hugged and kissed like long lost GF and asked me to ping her next time.

WIR. Probably try someone else.

I have a 10 hour layover in Dubai this week and will be staying at the park regis kris kin hotel and was thinking about either trying the club7 or just going through MR to get together with a viet. From what I understand the go to spot either seems to be ratsky or Jules. There is some mention of club7 on the forum but not very much. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any recent experiences with club7.

Something similar to this almost happened to me in Shanghai in 2012. Once the girl and I sat down in a private booth at the bar, the waiter gave me a drink menu but the girl ordered without looking at the menu. I immediately remembered a post about this scam on the Shanghai board, said "No" got up and walked out.
