after a great thai airways flight from sydney settled into the 14th floor of the indra regent hotel in downtown pratunam. (right next to one of the bomb sites.) brought a 30 year old first timer with me. the rest of my party were scared off by the nye bombs

After Soi Cowboy bar closing, about 1: 20 AM, after Valentine's Day, I was on the way back to the hotel (just too tired for company), by the underpass on Sukhumvit Soi 19, where 2 very big-breasted girls agressively started fondling my crotch, and having me put my hands on their really soft, nice titties while asking me to go with them. Unfortunately for them, I wasn't born yesterday, and had already noticed the other girl and guy with them, who had been standing behind me. It wasn't long before I felt the expected finger near the wallet from the other girl. I speak Thai fluently so I asked her what in hell was she looking for, a fist in the mouth? Needless to say, she immediately held up her hands showing nothing in them, backed away, and acted very innocent.
I glanced at the guy, and he just stod there. Since there was only me, and the 4 of them, and I had over four hours of drinking behind me, I decided to continue along Sukhumvit rather than cause an incident. There were quite a few people in the area. Naturally, no police were in sight.
Be very much on the alert for something that seems just too good to be true. I. E. 2 huge-titted friendly girls with tits hanging out grabbing your dick right away, on the street.
Over a period of forty plus years in and out of Thailand, with countless nights out, this was only the second time that an attempt was made to pickpocket. The first being in 1973. Perhaps a rare occurrence, maybe not.

Walking along Sukhumvit almost every night and never had a problem.
Around soi 19 is the hunting ground of the LBs, but if they sense you are not a fool they will not bother you.
When you pass by them, look them in the eye with a dirty look. That will let them know you are sober and not the kind to be fucked around with.
Also, if you want to be safe, never drink in one of these "Portable" outside bars. Some might put some weird stuff in your drink ;) you are warned.
i just got back from thailand and up on returing to sfo (please put this in the appropriate section if it's not there now). was completely hassled for 45 minutes by the customs woman. asked all kinds of questions. went through every paper and every single thing in all my luggage.
i did have some "notes" that included bars and probably some prices, so that was probably a mistake on my part. but i certainly don't see **** women and ther was no indication of that.
what's the deal? anyone else experience this? it made me so paranoid and mad at the same time. i mean, do they really care if yiou are seeing bargirls in thailand? any remedies here?

I have drunk beer at one of those outside portable bars on many occasions, and the thought had crossed my mind that something could be put into you drink before. In December last year I was sick one day after drinking there the night before, it maybe just too much alcohol, or maybe something was put into my drink out of sight from my eyes as they have to be sly about it because of the police. I think more caution should be taken when drinking there.

same thing happen each time i return to lax from bkk. do not admit to buying or doing anything illegal there. if your from the us. its illegal to seek p4p so you have broken a federal law. this time i spread my undewear thru out and she seemed not in too much a hurry to go thru my luggage. did go thru my camera in carry on. but i learned to down load to my email address prior to leaving los. lap top was cleaned out (not even a operating system)
so just a dirty look and finished. did show a little additude about allways when i return being ran thru the extra screening. seemed to speed things along. (i was'nt holding any contraband) and am allways visiting a girlfriend when in los seems to get the old white hags off my back.

Not true. There is federal law on the books about engaging in lewd, lascivious, or sexual behavior WITH MINORS. There is no federal law about engaging in P4P with consenting adults, so long as you are not transporting anyone across state lines to engage in these behaviors.
