Trash talking the owner of NG is not a good thing. Black Sultan and other members like myself have been well taken care of by the owner and others who work at NG in April. When I see the owner bring his family to the hotel for dinner in the evening and then hear your trash, I tend to get upset. Too bad we can't meet and discuss and have lunch, I am 6'5' weigh in at 360 lbs, the Black Sultan is the same height and weighs slightly less (he knows me by aka Bubba). You could turn into an Oreo at lunch walking away chewing gum from your culo. Just kidding.
I agree with your point, Mose, Carlos was disrespectful and out of line.
On the other hand, threats are even more objectionable. Whether excused as being offered in jest or not.
Wow... ignorance.
New Garden belongs to a German Pimp and I am surpised that you pay 200. 250 USD a night! Is he providing a girl TLN for this price?
Or is it Pesos?
Please advise?

From the main street in sosua, where Classico's is located, make a turn at the jewelry store, head towards Rocky's, New Garden Hotel, keep walking straight. You will get to an intersection, you will see a large antenna on the left and a nice ice cream parlor on the right, name is Bon. Keep going straight, cross the street (there are usually girls sitting on the corners yelling at men, offering a massage) if not then the place for a blowjob massage is a little ways past the intersection (maybe 40 feet) on the right. It is a hair salon with some room or curtained area where you can get a blowjob. I never used them, but a friend did, he got his rocks off. Not sure of the price, but I am certain they can be haggled.

There are actaully two of them as you cross the street from the ice cream place heading toward the ocean. One is on the right hand side just past the souvenir shop and if you keep walking there is another one on the left hand side just before Casa Cayena hotel. The girls are quite agressive for your business and if you want they will come to your hotel as well according to what I've heard. A girl named Margarita from the Casa Cayena one was a good one for this according to what I read on here awhile back.
There is another one if you turn left at the intersection instead of crossing it and keep walking. The street curves and angles back to pedro clisante and its about halfway there. Don't worry, if you walk around you will find them, or should I say they will find you! They will try to get way more pesos out of you if they can but if you're informed then they won't rip you off. I think the 500 peso rate is for half hour if I remember right. FunInTheSun
Don't want to spoil the mood for anyone here but the cover story on todays edition of EL DIARIO the is that:
The collective Carrribean Islands have the highest number of both HIV and Aids infected population 2nd only to one , Africa.
Also even more alarming is that according to EL DIARIO in all of the Caribean Islands the place with the highest percentage of HIV and AIDS infected population is Haiti ..... followed by .... You guessed it....The Dominican Republic.
So be informed and be careful everyone.

FunInTheSun
As of mid-July they were 300 pesos. Got to love it.
As I found there are plenty of these places in the beach area and near where most of the action is. Yes they are a hard sell but you can give it back the same. I had 4 of them during my week and the most I paid was 15. 00 (500p) but all were fun, one needed a shower (I took all of them but 1 back to the hotel) they were all daytime action as you leave the new garden hotel the girls that are working on the right side (first ones you run into) are the ones I stayed away from as you get the hard sell from them and then the begging of the store people to go into the store. It gets old fast. The girls up the street on the left were more fun and all agreeed to 500 and were clean. As with Costa Rica the rules were about the same when dealing with 2 girls. Found many that said they were lesbos but few that were, of the 2 combo's I had one was ok (with me doing most of the directing) the other was a total waste with me telling one girl to leave. And she was the hot one. The other one was jacking me off in a daytime bar with a german couple sitting next to me. I am going back next month and hope to explore some new areas but for 7 days I spent under 600 us, in San Jose it would of been 3 times that amount and really I felt safe the whole trip.
Can anyone tell me what i should pay for a taxi for PP to Sosua. I am going to be leaving BB, ending the first half of my trip and will be going to the New Garden hotel in Sosua and would like to know what a good price for a taxi is. I just want a general idea of what to expect.
Thanks
Those BJ rows are everywhere. Ask for "Carolina" on the left side of Calle Dr.Rosen from the ice cream store intersection heading to the Playa Alicia beach. She will do anything, I mean it, anything. 300/500 peso. Pay 500 and enjoy her spitting into the bucket. She has got a team too.

Thanks
You will be able to find the Public taxi stand about 100 yards from the super market and across the street from the gas station. If you don't mind riding with 5 other passengers, the cost will run you 35 pesos during the day and 40 pesos at night. Tell the driver where you are going because these drivers only drive to their routes. You might have to catch another taxi once you're in Puerto Plata. To ride alone, they charge anywhere from $300 to 450 pesos. Be sure you go to the taxi stand across the street from the gas station. The taxis at the gas station will charge you 700 pesos. At the taxi stand, you will find 2 sections, one is going to Puerto Plata and the other is going in the opposite direction so please ask for Puerto Plata. They can take you to the airport for about 300 pesos if you going alone. I have seen the local go to work at the airport and are dropped off about on the property, but not in front of the building. You will have walk about a quarter mile of a walk.

I paid US$1 for the public, shared taxi from PP to Sosua.
I paid US$1 for the public, shared taxi from PP to Sosua.
If you do use a non public taxi I think you should expect to pay $25/30 maybe even $40 to BB(I've never been). I was quoted $25 from sosua to puerto plata when I needed medical attention.
If you are in sosua going TO puerto plata I recommend hitting up the free lance cab drivers hanging out outside the europa hotel...not the taxi stand on dr. rosen
Another option would be to pay everybody's slot in the public taxi and go solo. I think that is kind of obnoxious IMHO but it is available.
Paid public taxi solo Sosua to PP door to door from playero 300 peso. Back 50 peso on Guagua.
I have read some old reports about the Palace but seems to be off the charts lately...
Is it closed or out of favor or new name or what
Thanks
