I was hanging out with a really cute girl from Where's Angels Play with A Harley Quinn Tattoo on one leg and a joker tattoo on the other (Suicide Squad). But because of a bug in the Photo Vault App, I lost all my photos. If anyone here can get pictures (especially of that tattoo), I would be super grateful and consider you a literal God. With my last trip in the beggining of the decade, I was curious about what changes could I expect to find, everybody gives their opinion, but our own has always a special meaning.
It was just a few days, and I plan to do the same report in Bangkok.
Generally Pattaya seemed the same old place, a very lively city, a unique experience.
In the last years, it seems the place has grown larger, I found much more shops specially in the boundaries of the city.
Also the number of families and couples around continued to grow, sooner or later Walking Street will be just a show people come to watch taking pictures, and the mongers will be part of the show, like in a Circus, I had that feeling specially with the Japanese and Chinese tourists.
Perhaps its the time of the year, but specially with the massage joints, I saw a very growing number of them, but almost no clients, it made me some kind of confusion, how can that places be open?
Around 7 pm I had a foot massage on 2nd road, there were more that 10 women working there, but duroing the full hour nobody entered ther place, its a mistery.
In terms of mongering, and despite it was just a few days, I will divide by areas.
Beach Road. I witnessed dozen of discussions about if there were or not some hidden gems, but in my walks in the afternoon, 9 pm and 11 pm, I saw a very low quality, almost no one was doable in my opinion, perhaps some years ago was a little better, perhaps I was unlucky, but its a forgettable thing.
Soi 7 and 8 seemed worst, less bars, less girls (specially on one of them, but I don't recall).
Soi 6 saw the upgrade of my visit, it seems there was a refill of young girls, not pretty most of them, but since many are under 25, when I walked I saw a considerable number of girls I might choose in a future visit. In the past soi 6 seemed almost like beach road, but people should take for now a second look.
Go Go Bars. I like full nudity, and in the past it was an abundant situation, I just went to two this Time, Happy-A-Go Go, where there were some topless, but no nudity, even in the special shows, some girls were very attractive, but despite the fact I am a millionnaire for a short period, I will feel cheated if I go pay the current asking prices for Top Go Go Girls.
The other Go Go was a huge disappointement, Silver Star, a favorite of mine on Walking street, but it has vanished and I went to Soi 7, and it was very bad, some girls in Jacuzzi, but terribly bad looking, I stayed for less than 5 minutes.
I might return to Pattaya this trip, and at the time I hope I will be bettter informed about the full nude A Go Go, with minimum quality.
Massage Parlors. I went to Dream Teen Massage, which is the most famous oil massage here, in the album they have some interesting girls, but when I arrived, between working, and absence none were available.
Sudenly some clients entered the store, and tey asked all the girls for a line up. But they were just 4, and not acceptable, I left and went to PP Massage where in the past I had a girl many would consider between 8 and 9.
It was around 6. 30 pm, and not too many girls, several of them waived and smiled, prices at 2000 Red Badge and 2500 Blue Badge, to the right 2 girls in a sideline for 3000, one of the was the best in the room, but seemed truly bored, because it wasn't such a big difference I went for a blue badge girl. A young girl from Chiang Mai, very nice, and took a long time in the bath and the matress, unlike some of their counterparts that rush the process. When I first started coming there were like 2 tattoo shops in town. Now there are customerless tattoo places on every corner. (I had a friend that opened one in an obscure location on Kopai. Needless to say that it is now closed.) The other new trend now is those coffee stands. Those have popped up everywhere in the last few months. One person had the idea, and everyone wants to run to cash in on it, which pretty much means that either noone or only a select few actually will.
Other than the massage parlors, the shit that kills me is when someone wants to open up a bar. 8000 bars in Pattaya and a blind man can see that 95% of them are not making any money. What is going to make yours so special to draw people? I know a chick that opened up a bar on Soi Lengkee. (Of course some poor foreign sap that obviously knows nothing about business funded the place.) Everytime I passed I never saw 1 customer in it. I mean, who even goes to the Third Road end of Soi Lengkee to go to a bar? It finally closed down and Retox and Bronx Pizza are in the spot now.
Another thing that tickles me. There is a lady on my soi with a shed that I bring my clothes to for repair. A couple of weeks ago I saw her out about 100 meters from the old spot having a new shed built. So I thought maybe she moved the location. I wave at her and keep riding. The thing I always wondered about is the bar girls on soi 6. There is no way all of them are getting customers. There are hundreds of them and cannot be enough customers.

Heavy rain the past few nights has put a damper on my current stay in Pattaya. Lucky for me however, is that I still have 2 weeks to play around. Now since, I stay next to Centara Azure and not on Walking Street, I'm not as eager to go play with the WS girls due to the rain. I've got no beef with the Match Making apps and am a regular user. However, FB sucks in vast amounts of data from your phone regardless of if it's open at the time or not and uses this to send sometimes unwanted targeted advertising, Friend suggestions etc. I'm assuming it also does the same for third parties and can, unknown to you, recommend your account to people you may not want to share accurate personal details with.
Thats why I'm now such a stickler for running two phones with totally separate accounts on each.

I was there only briefly but was certainly not impressed by food selections. Numerous carts selling food. Every one of them selling exactly the same shitty "food" as the one next to them. Hard to find anything "edible". Variation extremely low. At least in Thailand, different carts sell different things (in the good areas).

None of it is set up or catered to foreigners though, so if you don't know what you're looking for or how to look you won't find what you like probably. I personally prefer eating in a restaurant than in the middle of a street. Restaurants in Phnom Penh are as good or better than any in Thailand, especially French, steak houses and Italian.

I had such request in the past already in several bars. However, I bluntly refused and told the mamasan that I will pay the girl, after she did her job. Most mamasans accepted then. Sometimes only after a short discussion, though. I always made it clear that if they insist on upfront payment, I will go to another place. However beautiful the girl was.
