I was at LL last night and the Sports Bar was pretty empty, these PAD guys are destroying the Thai tourism industry, talking about cutting off their nose to spite their face.
Was going to run down and have a quick drink and commiserating with Mr G., then came the news that my client, who is also in the hotel business, just cancelled all of their IT projects. So my contract is being cut short, oh well, it has been fun.
Still time for one more quick drink, I think, may be a couple of drinks for my favorite. Got to watch my budget now though, have to think about the BF :(

I am sitting here watching the PAD folks dance on TV at Suvarnabhumi Airport. At least they're having a good time!
Yesterday, I canceled my Dec. 1 Air Asia ticket fearing that the airport (BKK) would either not be open, and/or be seriously damaged by the departing PAD. I then tried to book and purchase a train ticket (almost no seats available) from Trang to Bangkok. I found out that it cannot be done on the phone, only on their website, (and the website was not working). They then suggested I go to Trang in person, (2.5 hours from here), with no guarantee of an available ticket.
Feck it. I decided to just stay home. In the end it cost me 2000 baht to reschedule my flight tickets for next year and cancel my pre-paid hotel reservations. I also had to cancel multiple appointments in Bangkok. My gigs are not going to be happy.
After three years living in Thailand I think it is time to look for new horizons. The Philippines is sounding very good right now, as is returning to America to shore up the eroding home bases.

I know ain't it a shame... my superiors back home don't believe a word I say. Thank god they have CNN and are reporting me more news (or non news) about the situation. They are so fearful for my safety they told me to stay longer if I want.
Let's see, I just got back from chonburi with the TGF and her family... had a dinner cruise the other night... went to dream world... went to ocean world... did tulip many times, am having Tulip scheduled again in fact she's ringing me now... and of course the sports bar with my special meals and the ring or girls that are friends with the TGF especially with ms forbidden fruit and my emmy...
Damn it's dangerous right now, I'm so fearful of my life.... please make me stay longer....

Yes I am a Bastard and Bestard... If you can get the TGF to agree I can try to help the horny part and I always feed the girls but I'm taking care of enough family members already... 7 people to holiday at Khao Kheow Open Zoo... So, of course the airports are closed. If they do re-open next week do you think it will be safe to come? The airline says that they are taking it day be day and I can re-book but I have no idea when I will be able to come again so I am holding off cancelling and hoping that "we can all just get along".

It is still safe here at this moment - we are far away from the Government House and the Airport. But - the question will be how the Airport problem will be resolved.
If the Airport re-opens it will be safe to come, but - when will that happen?

I might do so in 10 days. (I'll fly to LGK, take a fery to Satun, then a bus to Hatyai and from Hatyai to BKK). But only if there is a slight chance to be able to fly out in forseeable time.
We should have a stranded in BKK party...

It is very very safe... No problems... Just avoid the demonstrations and you'll be fine.

We had the Swimming Pool Party last night, surprisingly quite crowded, many guys and girls in the pool, party until very late in the bar.
