It's not a totally out-there idea. I've brought along a favorita to San Andres once in awhile. Its nice with the right girl. They become visibly different- like you said, its vacation for them too.
One caveat: don't bring them to CTG cuz the beach sucks. DO bring them to Cocoliso (Islas Rosario) or San Andres, which both have crystal blue water clear enough you can see bottom at 20 feet.

When we first went there 200,000 peso was 70 dollars, the exchange rate was 2847. Now it is 1778, that along with the inflation brought on by Tony Lama Butch has doubled the prices of everything there. The pro mongers will always have plenty of fun there but the Del Rey crowd will have to work hard. I haven't been to Colombia in almost four years now. We were planing to move there but with the devaluation of the dollar it isn't as attractive any more.
Anyone lucky enough to be in Cartagena, keep an eye out for Carolina
She is usually at LDV near the front door with some other hot chicks from Medelin. A buddy of mine just got back from Cartagena and had a great time with her.
Here is a recent photo, her hair is sometimes blonde and sometimes brunette, but keep an eye out for a tattoo on top of her foot of a cat.
My buddy had a blast with her, and like all working girls if you get her in the right mood and have some propina ready, she will do photos amd much more.
Anyone in Cartagena I would keep an eye out for her and of course please send us all a report of your adventure,
She is expensive however, wants 150, 000 pesos short time and at least 250, 000 for all night, plus your party favours, rum and munchies.

I am going to CTG this weekend and then onto Peru. However, my situation being very similar to yours Mongering in CTG is not possible for me anymore. To many eyes and ears. But. Other places are still wide open.

I stopped in to LDV last night about 1:00am and the place was PACKED with chicas and tourists a like. Sorry Studly I did not see this girl you are possessed with.
I will be going to checkout the old city bars tonight as my flight never got in last night until 11pm so I only made it to LDV.
I went to Pacos Restaurant in Plaza Santo Domingo and had some great tasting shrimp, appetizers, drinks, e.t.c. The service and the quality of the food is excellent. It is expensive, as my dinner for 2 with tips to the chef and waitress came to $160.00 dollars.
At about 11:30pm I went to Tu Candela and it was very quiet until around 12:30 when it became full, mostly with putas. They definitely out numbered the guys, but they were pretty hard core, and did not capture my interest at all. I ended up meeting 2 regular girls who were visiting from Cali, and after some hard sell on my part, and after buying them 6 shots of Tequila, I was able to get another non puta back to my hotel. The hard part of convincing her was the fact that they were in Cartagena for only 2 days, and were leaving to go to Santa Marta at 8am, which did not happen since she never left my place until 9.
While partying with them in Tu Candela I did manage to excape for a little while to checkout Divas, and at 1am there were only 2 people inside. I then went to Isas for a drink to just file a report on the place. The place had some quality girls but I will not pay a bar fine when I can go elsewhere and get normal girls for free, or take the free lancers from LDV, Tu Candela, or similar places.
Tonight, Friday, I am going to venture out to possibly Getsemaní and Blackdelicioso areas, so we will see what happens.
I also had some real good visits since my arrival here with Dave (Hunter), his friend Mario, Juan Ventura, and also ran into Mery in front of the Mirador apartments. It is worth the trip to Cartagena just to enjoy the friendships with these super good people I am happy to call my friends.
By the way, on Monday I am going to Barranquilla to have facial plastic surgery done, it is called a MACS lift, so if anyone is contemplating such a surgery here in Colombia feel free to contact me, and I will give you my first hand experience with it. The cost is approximately $7,000 but this includes a few little extra things I am having done. When I had a consultation in the United States they quoted me $20,000.

Don't you know that you could have gotten a plato del dia in Foco Rojo for 5K? :)
That $160.00 must have included a bottle of wine and/or a lot of drinks. In the 4 years I lived in CTG, I never came anywhere near that. And I have eaten in many of the more expensive restaurants.
By the way, you can feel free to tip the chef if you like, but that is simply not done in Colombia. And a normal tip is 10% before IVA.
Last night (Friday) I ended up going to an area called Blackdelicious or something similar to it. This is an area that is non tourist. I went to 3 different discos but it was really quiet. I ended up going to Tu Candela at 1:00 only to find it also dead. There were only about 20 to 30 people in the entire place. I then walked up to Divas and the place was empty with not even one person inside. I then walked over to Isas and that place was also very quiet. After leaving there at about 2:30 I went to LDV and found it quite lively with lots of chicas. I stayed until closing, then went to Electra which was my first time in this place but for sure not my last. It was very lively, filled with beautiful chicas, and I have to give it the 5 star approval for this friday night. I ended up with a morena who was not that good looking, but turned out to be one of the best providers I have ever experienced!. I passed out with her sucking my dic and woke up at 10am to the same thing. In addition she was very willing to give up anything I wanted, and she really enjoyed using my toys, the ivibe rabbit, pocket rocket, e.t.c. Again, never once was money talked about. This is a first for me, but I ended up giving her one hundred dollars this morning because she was that good. Anyone wanting her number can send me a pm. I might give her a call this evening if I can get rid of my hangover, and if I do I will make sure I get some pics. I would highly recommend her, as she is just fantastic in the service department.
Update: She just called me as I was writing another post and told me she wanted to treat me to a free night of company in my apartment so how can I refuse such an offer! ;) I am getting a helleva deal for the one hundred dollars I gave her this morning.
The chef came to our table and gave us his recommendations. We had a couple of appetizers, then had a whole pineapple that was stuffed with shrimp on toothpics, and covered with some type of sauce. We then had a shrimp dish that contained rice, peppers, e.t.c.. I had about 3 beers and my chica had two glasses of wine.
The reason I tipped the chef was because he really did an outstanding job with the service he provided us. He took his time to explain different items to us, how they would be fixed e.c.t., and then let us select the dinner we wanted. He also came to our table and checked to see if we needed anything else, and if we were happy. I have no problem with tipping for good service. By the way I was not in Foco Rojo. I was in Plaza Santa Domingo! ;) I am going back to Pacos tomorrow night (Sunday) for Langostinos so we will see what the damage will be. :)

A lot of places in Cartagena (and other cities) market them as Langostinos but they are nothing more than large shrimp.- with an inflated price. Langostinos are a bit harder than shrimp and have a different texture.
Hey what is the best price flying out of New York to CTG? Is Avianca the cheapest? Copa? I cant seem to find tickets less than $600
