As a new person, they should stay focused on the information being presented. Those presenting the information should also.

By keeping them occupied like this in this section, decent folk generally get left alone to enjoy the other parts of the forum without being trolled.
I'm not disagreeing with you guys but this is a rants thread so it's not a place to find useful info rather for guys who want to go at it and belittle one another. I think the Admin started it way back when because of Monkeypaw. Personally it's not a thread I read often. The only people who have ever described me using the words that have been written this thread have never met me. Nor will they ever meet me because they do not exist in the real world (at least mine). So, they can stay in front of their screens, bang on their keyboards and post up the fantasies they dream up in their minds about other people they have never met.
Overall it is a useless endeavor, really. But in the case of retired people or those who otherwise have no purpose, I am sure is occupies all or part of their day. I would not want to take that from them. On a day to day basis I am living my best life. I hope my positivity does not ruin anyones day.
