Amsterdam Airport has become too big over the years, and is causing too much noise disturbance and air pollution with its five runways, in a densely populated area. So that's why they have to bring down the number of flight movements from 500.000 to 460.000 a year, starting April 2024. And eventually the government wants to bring it down to 452.500 movements.

Anyway. A frequent traveler to Amsterdam and first time visitor to Park118. Mind you, I had my bachelor party in Amsterdam 30 years ago and 13 of us raised all kinds of hell in the RLD. Park118 is totally different. If you want to go cheap, negotiate, and "smash" the RLD is for you. Park118 is private. It isn't cheap. It is super clean.
