I will be in sosua later this month for a few days of mongering. Just curious about the beach. I heard some mixed reviews of it. Some say it is nice and some say it is shit. Ok, I have been to bad playas, but really a playa is a playa where one can relax, kick back and catch some rays.
Do the Chicas at Sosua beach go topless? There are a few beaches in the US that I go to which are cloths optional and was wondering if nudity is allowed in Sosua beach.

IMHO, the main beach of Sosua is mediocre because it's so crowded and there is lots of trash strewn about. I prefer the two slightly smaller beaches that flank the Casa Marina all inclusive resort. There are public access ways to those two beaches so it's no problem going there. I think that those two beaches are quite nice ones, and much cleaner than the main one. Last time I was there, there was a group of around 18-20 European (Swiss or German) tourist young ladies of college age, who mostly went topless. I found myself needing to lie on my stomach quite often as a result.

He layed on his stomach the entire time we were on the beach and did he get a good sun burn. In the end, he looked 1/2 tan and 1/2 white. a funny sight to see.

I dont think by the sea is friendly. Look at the Sosua hotels thread for your possibilities. It will save you a lot of time.

Booked for October, 5 nights at Casa Marina, (2 persons) direct flight on Jet Blue from Jfk, paid $563 each (flight and all inclusive hotel). Used coupon code equality100 to knock $100 dollars off the total price (this coupon may have expired). I rent a compact car with Alamo, $215 dollars for 5 nights with my mastercard which covers the insurance, I do get the glass and tire insurance for $8 dollars per day. Roads are not the greatest there and one time I got a flat and destroyed a tire with an Avis van and Avis tried to charge me $250 dollars for the tire. I prefer Alamo now. Also one time some crazy chica threw a bottle at the driver side window. So for an extra $8 dollars per day, glass and tires are covered. I then rent a condo for 45 per night for fucking. Sosua by the Sea is a cute hotel, near the entrance to casa marina beach. I doubt it is chica friendly. Some all inclusive hotels in sosua have all inclusive prices and a different price just for the room. Be careful when you book. Sosua Bay Hotel is an all inclusive, nice hotel, but they have one price for all inclusive and a lower price just for the room. Not sure if Sosua by the Sea does that. Just read to make sure food is included if that is what you want.
A different member stated that the Calypso Hotel has improved. Glad to hear that. As I stated, I used the Calypso many years ago, when High Caribe disco was open and at that time the Calypso was nasty.

Just wanted to share my first time in Sosua and have to say thank you for all the tips I got here, though I didn't even try many things in Sosua...
I was bored of Puerto Plata after one week, so I took a cab (800) to Hotel Europa and checked in for one night (1700). The security guy came right after that to me asking if I want any chicas. I definitely wanted to have a fast one right away, because I was horny like hell. So he said he was going to get some chicas. And 10 minutes later he knocked at my door.
I really didn't expect nice girls. But there was a cute girl and we made a price for 1000ST. I've said to her I am going to tip you good, if you are good.
She couldn't fuck that good (she wanted to fuck without condom, OMG I thought...), but she kissed like a GF and her blowjob made me feel like in paradise. Paid her 1500 because I didn't get any small bills... 20 years and her name is Diana.
After that, I took a pause for a few hours and wanted to see Sosua Nightlife at 11 pm. I went out and saw the street with the many bars and the disco classico. There was a lot of smalltalk going on in the first hour, but I didn't like none of them really. Went to Classicos and I saw a very nice chica. She grabbed my pants and went to the toilet. Me too, I lost her! Ahh. I went to the disco with one chica which hung out with me for at least 2 hours. She was cute, but I didn't want her for the night. Had not a good feeling, but it was fun to hang out with her. I didn't buy her a drink, she kept me asking... but this was a no-no for me. After the disco closed and I didn't had one for the night, the last ones were standing at the road. Good prices, like 1000 for the whole night. But didn't like any of them. So went back to the hotel and saw a young girl. She looked like 16-17. She said she was 18 but didn't have an ID. So, that woudn't work out. Could grab 2 girls finally for the night (+ 500 extra person fee in the hotel). Paid them 1600 each. One of her was GF-like. The other one, well, was a bit shy. But cute. At least I didn't have to sleep alone but between 2 nice girls. ;)
I liked Sosua much more than POP.

About a year ago I left classicos at closing time and was walking back to Casa Marina, made the left turn at the jewelry store, walked past Rocky's in the direction of the New Garden Hotel and Casa Valeria, the road turns and it is a little dark there. I stopped in the road to wait for my friend who was chatting up some girls near the corner, across from the jewelry store. Some chica approached me. On most nights there is some chica that hangs on around this area. I was not interested in her. She got touchy feely with me. I was polite and said no gracias. Big mistake. I should have pushed her away. Eventually she walked off. After a few minutes I checked my pockets and sure enough, she had stolen some bills out of my pocket. I walked to the corner and saw a policeman and told him what happened. We looked for the girl, but she was gone. This street seems to always have some chica hanging around at night offering sex. On this street on a different night, some chica grabbed my friend's balls really hard as we walking, she was very aggressive and my friend was pissed. Most times you cannot be polite, especially when an unwanted chica approaches you on this street.
The next night after that, I went into d latinos, (I believe that is what is called), it is on the ground floor behind an open air bar, not far from Classicos. Two women decided to grind me, without my invitation. I had put my money in my shirt pocket. They were very touchy feely, I guess they figured out I had no money in my pants pockets and they massaged my chest. Sure enough the girl who was grinding me from behind reached her arm over my shoulder and was reaching towards the shirt pocket. I walked away, she got nothing. Those are the only two bad experiences with thieves that I have had in Sosua in over ten visits. Just a heads up, be careful with certain chicas in the streets and in the discos.
There was also some nasty looking person who would hang out around the dark recesses on the street outside the new casino, where after one disco is located. Very skinny, very ugly. Will call to you as you walk by and will sometimes follow you offering sex. Reminded me of Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

I recommend splitting your first trip between the two (Sosua and BB) and you will have the answer. Only YOU can tell you what you prefer.

Had the exact same experiences as you last January on Dr. Rosen. My friend got his pocket picked in broad daylight right in front of my eyes.
A girl who I was not interested in tried to get me to buy her a drink at Bar Central early in the evening. I was on my own that night and was getting harassed pretty good so I took off to 4 Roses for a few drinks where the traffic isn't as heavy. This girl shows up with her friend and they start harassing a guy I was chatting with at the bar. They eventually leave and when he goes in his pockets to pay his tab...his cash is gone.
I was a little turned off of Sosua by this but it is an everyday occurence there apparently. If you know this in advance and keep your guard up then it is not so bad.
