I am planning to visit Dubai in a couple of weeks and I havent been there for many years so can some one update me on the situation in dubai and what are good places to hook up with girls?

The Key word here being 'planning'...you sure you are planning bro, or is someone else 'planning' for you. Because planning by oneself means doing a little bit of research by yourself. Reading about the place you intent to visit and thanks to the internet there is plenty of info available right at your fingertips. Gentlemen, most of what I'll write has probably been stated on this forum before in one form or another, but my perspective is that of a newbie to DBX, albeit not entirely new to mongering, so I hope it provides a new set of eyes to all. I spent a week in Dubai earlier in April, staying at a pal's who lives near the Marina, so the aim was generally LT and I'll first post my experiences of the venues we went hobbying. Also note that we visited before the recent LE 'crackdown'. Also I hope to give a flavour of how the different ethnicities affect the mongering experience, which in my opinion defines your evening more than any other factor. Of course, YMMV.

Amnesia

Entrance was steep at 200Dh (which includes 2 drinks) and we were there from about 11pm til closing at 3am. It's not the biggest place and I'd estimate the girlcount at about 40-50 max. and the ratio of girls to men as about even. Ethnic make up was predominantly CIS, some PRC with almost no Africans, and the atmosphere was up-market but friendly with very little approaches from the girls unless perhaps you physically stood next to them at the bar. We didn't monger that night as I'd just flown in and was tired but the minimum opening price quoted was generally 1200-1500, which you could get down to maybe 800-1200, although there were plenty of desirable women left over at chucking out time so I daresay some bargains could have been had.

Cyclone

Entrance was 85Dh and we were there at 10.30pm-12 on a Sunday evening big place, one half of the club was already choc full of PRC girls – well over 100 to choose from - and, speaking as a man whose porn is predominantly white and anglo-saxon, I was initially hugely impressed with their quality, in term of tightness of body and youth. Not since my first wander round the windows of Amsterdam have I been so blown away! In fact there was nowhere even to hang out without getting approached and pawed by 3 or 4 of them at once in their side of the club. Great for lazy mongering and I left later with a PRC girl. More of that in a later post.

The other side of the club was relatively empty of girls – I'd say there were 20 or 30 mostly CIS ladies there – although it was early and a Sunday. I should point out that my pal was disappointed given that a previous visit had seen much greater numbers of CIS. But on the plus side there was plenty of space to sip beers and watch the cricket without getting hassled.

York Club

The Club opens at 6pm but opposite is a bar with a very friendly atmosphere which had 15-20 mostly African WG when we visited late afternoon. There were some glances from the girls but no heavy pressure.

We visited the club itself (free entrance, not sure if this is the case for everyone) from about midnight on a weekday – it's a very big dimly lit room with a bar along one entire side with a cracking party atmosphere and perhaps about 150 WGs, the majority African followed by PRC with very few others, and to walk from one end of the club to another you'd reckon on getting pestered and grabbed by maybe 10 girls and never have to make an approach yourself. Again, great for lazy mongerers! I found it difficult to turn down the many advances; more about the encounter in a later FR.

Rockafellers

Entrance fee 50Dh including 1 drink and we were there for a couple of hours from 11pm.Not a massive venue and there were maybe 40 WGs the majority of which were CIS/EE, not all of which were top notch, and mostly chain smoking and looking aloof, but as ever there were some stunners on offer. Also, there's a very decent band that plays which is worth going to see even if you don't monger. Perhaps we hadn't drunk enough but despite the excellent band I didn't discern a great party atmosphere in here, although it was pre-midnight.

Rattlesnake

Went here a day or two after Cyclone and Amnesia had allegedly been closed down so perhaps that explains why the place was choc full on a weeknight although not sure if it's always this way. 35Dh entry and a big party atmosphere and there's a band that plays with 3 lovely chinese women fronting it. They need a proper drummer but hey, I'm picky... ;-)

There's a bar next door which looks like a portacabin with an old but very serviceable snooker table, 2 pool tables and 2 darts boards.. so if you get to Rattler early doors at 10pm as we did when it's just picking up, and you can hold a cue, this is a great place and the amenities are free as long as you buy a drink in there.

Rattler is more like a party pub than a nightclub and was full of totty – a bit more upmarket than, say, York Club – but not as refrained as Amnesia or (maybe) Rockafellas. Estimate about 90-100 WGs there and much more an even mix of PRC, African and CIS although maybe this could have been the case cos the CIS hangouts had been closed down. Very good for the lazy mongerer as the place is super-crowded so it's impossible to move 2 feet without being propositioned by something very pleasant. I had my pick of the many PRC here and left with one about whom I will report on later. There's a really good night to be had here.

Broadway Hotel

Went here a couple of times since it got a decent write up on this forum and it's very near a daytime pool hall that my pal and I frequented. What a curious place! There is indeed a fast changing selection of 25 or so low to middle market WG and most look Arabic so it's different to the typical club clientele. Only problem is getting a table as the twice we got there, there was nowhere to sit! My pal did bargain a few times and ascertained that ST would cost 300 for one pop (down from an opening price of 500). We also had a look at the massage place on the top floor. Basic massage starts at 150 but the girls were 6/10 at best so we declined to investigate further (although if you like pigtails you may disagree).

The bad – Getting served is a nightmare, some of the slowest service I have encountered for a long time.

They tried to hit me with 50 AED entry, 2 drinks included, I said I only wanted one drink and would go elsewhere, as I turned away they called me back and let me in. I bought my beer – 25AED, so there is no mark-up or extra door charge like some places.

No sign at all of a refugee influx. The usual gaggle of CIS girls were hanging out near the door. Many looked very young and either looked scared to death or hard as nails.

There were a few passable PRCs, the best by far was occupied. One familiar girl stopped for an interview (Miss Burberry without one of her trade mark outfits??) One girl stood out with her school marm look, and a very impressive rack beneath her sweater.

The Music Room is still mainly civilian, the few WG that do get in are usually old enough and ugly enough to get in under the radar.

I think I am in a position to continue the Imperial saga as I arrived around 2200. First impression the "Russian" girls, they are more likely to be Moldovians. They are indeed either very young or hard as nails and they had a very low take up rate. One of them was really cute (the one with a t-shirt saying "Rock my body". She almost looked like a young normal girl. Meaybe too gyoung. As Dococtpuss mentioned in his post planning is of paramount importance, even more so if your gonna be pressed for time like I will be.

last night i did not know what i should do but i’m staying in ramada hotel so i thought that i at least should go down to rumoures and see what is happening there  what a disaster, nothing is happening there spare you times for other places guys. i could see some nice cis but there were to may guests from the hotel just around them and i don’t want to fight for a girl. after one beer i was thinking about to leave this boring place and go to bed instead but just when i was about to leave a meet a german guy who was here for some business and he had not been in dubai since -94  we talked a bit about the rumoures and he asked me if i know some other places to go to so i suggested that we should go to rockafellers and of we went to rockafellers.
