There are both expensive and classy places in Thailand.
Geylang in Singapore is definitely not at all classy. Class just depends on the place you choose and the girl you choose. We can see that you are not really after "Class" based on your BJ bar comment.

Don't mean a damn thing. I have seen totally worthless pieces of crap with incorrect information recommended for RoD. As a newbie your reoprts are read by the administrator and if you can string more than three words together an form a sentence that qualifies for a RoD. IMHO your report pretty much meets the criteria.

The last few times I shopped the Beer Garden I saw only older not-very-attractive women, and they initially quoted 1,500 baht short time! We're talking 30s to early 40s - I guess they're in there for the money-wasting old duffers. Of course I think most of them would come down to 1,000, but I think less would be difficult to attain. Most importantly, I didn't see anything in there worth doing at all - they seemed comparable in quality to the 300-500 baht girls in a backcountry brothel, just a bit more dressed up and made up. Maybe its just my personal impression but the girls on the street and in the Nana parking lot are a bit better looking and about the same price. In any case Bangkok is expensive, with poor quality girls and an unfavorable monger-to-provider ratio.

I tried the Eden club today, I figure you have to at least one time. Well I will say it was worth the effort and the cash, I will also say I have had better from providers in either the UK or Australia, the two girls I had were reasonable looking, perhaps both in thier 30's, they worked SO hard on me and I worked so hard on both of them, it took me over an hour of non stop action to blow and that required some effort. But the whole time both girls gave thier best so for that they have to be comended. Mechanical yes, would I go back, no. But I'm glad I tried.

The only place I ever hear about these really low prices is on internet forums, I never hear these prices actually quoted.

You'd be surprised... I actually was quoted these prices at the Nana Parking Lot and by girls younger than 50 LOL, granted it was a long time ago.

I agree with Penbelly -- it was a concise summary for a newbie. As I was reading his report I was thinking, yup, that's how it works for me. Pay a small premium to the gogo girls at Nana for youth and beauty, remembering they have a job to report to where you can find them the next day; they know you that so they don't get up to no good. I've hit the LOS since the mid-80's and I've never had a problem with a lassie from a Gogo. Now the whack-o's in the Dom. Republic, however -- some nightmares! j

I agree that any newbie posts with more than 4 words gets flagged by Jackson for report of distinction - it's a joke.

However, I've been visiting LOS since 1977 (when i was young and hansum like you;) ) and averaged 2-3 visits a year - so that gives me anywhere from 70+ visits. I've yet to visit a bj bar, a bdsm establishment, or the infamous Edens'. Pen was merely trying to be helpful...

If you are below 45, reasonably fit, reasonably good looking. I would say 90% of the girls will do 500 BT short time.

If you are unfit (eg fat), not very good looking, or over 45, then its going to be a struggle to find any for 500 BT.

Its quite funny that the girls do have a lot of face. And if there is a handsome stud in there, the younger ones will in general be happy to accept less, as it gives them the bragging rights over others. "I can pull the handsome ones". IMHO, your style is more confrontational than Retired Army.
Perhaps you should read his report carefully.
He points out that any new-comer to the ISG forum gets recommended for nomination for a Report of Distinction by the Moderator, regardless of the content.
Anyway your content probably didn't reach the REAL standard for nomination. Nominations happen rarely and ususally are for reports containing a lot more.

As a newcomer to the ISG it will take a while to build the respect of other readers. Nic knows you already from another forum, unfortanately meaning you don't start with a clean slate. But everyone has the opportunity for getting a reputation as being a very valuable information source.

This forum has a lot higher percentage of detailed reports
compared to the other forum which has too high a percentage of smart alec one liners in my opinion.
Of course one-liners are great if they are really funny.

I suggest you browse some of the Reports of Distinction in the ISG to get a feel for the standard expected.

Nic has been nominated several times because his escapades are detailed, witty and funny.

And what about if you are 60, slim, tanned, and distinguished?

Actually, your report was ok, although not that imformative, even for a newbie looking for info - really, no surprises, at all and quite general. It certainly didn't deserve an RoD. But, as people have pointed out, RoDs are not that 'distinct', anyway. They certainly aren't particularly discriminating. RoD seems to be almost an automated function of the board.

Doing the math, you've been here a total of 81 weeks (about 1 1/2 years, total) in 13 years. For any tourist, that is an impressive amount of time, I suppose. But, it begs the question, why after all that time are your areas of experience still so narrow and fairly predictable? It seems you travel the same well worn paths and therefore only have experience with a very small sampling of Thai women. As a result, I doubt your knowledge of Thai women is anything beyond very superficial and probably quite inaccurate in the broad scheme of things.

As for you being a newbie or not...well on here you are. You slag off NicFrenchy, despite the fact that in his time on this forum, he's been one of the most prolific and entertaining contributors. If you are so experienced and knowledgeable from all those visits, then prove it with more in-depth contributions, rather than attacking people because they find your posts a little light on real information.

It usually takes awhile before one is disliked on here. I spent years cultivating a general hatred and contempt. ;) However, you've managed in a handful of posts to already come across as a bit of a wanker. Earn the right first, mate. :D
