day 1.

landed in bkk at 10:30am on saturday, extremely quick through immigration and customs and straight into a taxi in no time. due to the demonstrations, i had to be dropped off just near the asok intersection and walk to my hotel s sukhumvit suites, virtually at the asok intersection and right in the heart of one of the busiest intersections being blocked by the demonstrators.

i had booked bell from bangkok gold escorts for 7:00pm, so being only around lunchtime, took the skytrain to siam, then to mbk to do a little shopping and check out some other demonstration sites. the 4 demonstration sites, central world, mbk, siam and asok are all pretty harmless, with stages and large speakers continuously alternating between live music and speeches. the blocked streets have become large markets selling everything bangkok markets usually sell, food, arts and crafts, sunnies and loads and loads of demonstration t-shirts, whistles, hats ribbons, anything that can have red, white and blue, and anything thailand on it.

headed back to hotel to phone goldie to confirm bell for 7:00pm, but was told that bell had missed her flight back to bangkok and wouldn't be available until 10:00pm. i hope this was true, and she was not double booked, as i had this booking made months ago, and from bell's reaction, i'm a little unsure? although disappointed, i agreed to wait until 10:00pm (i had no choice as it was planned) , so being around 6:00pm, i walked down to soi 11 and had fish and chips at snapper new zealand restaurant. i then walked over to nana plaza to check out gogo's talent. it was still early, but there was still plenty of talent, especially in mercury and rainbow 4, with the rainbow 4 girls having one stage of topless girls. after checking out 4 or 5 gogo's, i walked up sukhumvit to soi cowboy. soi cowboy was pretty quiet so i went around the corner to crazy house, and wow, talent everywhere and every second dance roster, was totally nude hotties! stayed for 2-3 drinks and checked out the amazing (but some scaringly young!) talent, then headed back for a shower before bell arrives at 10:00pm.

The only days quiet were no alcohol days due to election advance voting last Sunday. I was in Suzie W that night and was well down. Maybe girls find business is down just a little compared to December bumper month. However that is not obvious to the eye.

I used the ST hotel Asoke place and its business was down perhaps due to walk of shame past the protest area. Did not Affect me though.
