I would look at the Sunshine Inn and Residence. The New Wing is better. Usually after Thai New Year they run a special like Stay 7 nights and pay for 6. They don't have Wifi and their safes are in the front lobby. The Rooms are a little noisy until 2 or 3 am because of the bars close by. They do have an underground garage where you can park your motor bike.

These days I like staying near Soi 13. The Inn House does fine for me. There is Condo-hotel across the street right next door to the Dynasty Inn but those rooms run 1500+ bhat per night.

Wendella, A lot of these girls have regular customers who call them up right after bar closes, 1am or 2am. The guys don't want to pay a bar fine but want their company. Even though they may not pay a big premium it's quite consistent. If the girl is not available then maybe another girl will be called and the girl which goes with you will loose a consistent income source. That's why many will only want ST until 1 am or 2 am so they can hook-up with another guy after that. In fact they take a taxi right to their apartment. I have so many girls who I have barfined LT and at 2 am or 3 am they get 2 or 3 call right in succession. It's like clock work. The key issue is to tell the girls you know about these scams. Tell the girl if agrees to LT and somehow has to leave early she will only get 500 Bhat as a penalty for breaking her promise. If she's not too good in bed before the 2 am mark you can negotiate and say 1500 Bhat. Remind her she can still go with another customer.

This scam is very common especially in Pattaya. You have the most leverage for LT about 1 hour 1/2 before closing. She knows if she goes with you their isn't enough time for you and then a possible late night customer who wants her right after closing. Also another request is to ask her to turn her phone off when having sex or in bed. Tell her I don't like mobile phones going off when we're having sex.

Yeah I think next time I'm wanting to go LT or more than ST, I'll do something like this. Basically set out how much it will be if she leaves at this time, how much at this time, etc., and also discuss how many goes it actually means. I find that if you go ST or agree to one go, then they often try to rush it so they can get out a.s.a.p. and go make more money. And of course I want to take my time and enjoy the experience, so that's no good. And if you want to go LT, they'll often have some excuse why they have to leave early, or else hit you with the early morning sudden departure, the girl pretending not to know that LT means at least 2 times, then giving a hard time about doing one more go, and making it like pulling teeth. Lots of fun. It sucks that you have to actually discuss all these details beforehand, but the truth is that these days if you don't, you're often gonna end up with an experience that's short of your expectations.

As for mobile phones, yes defniitely. I've had plenty of experiences where a phone call (or calls) took place as soon as we got to the room. That period of limbo where you're waiting for her to finish up these mysterious calls, which always go on too long, really is pretty damn effective at wrecking the mood and the vibe.

The first time I went to Pattaya was 2004 and I didn't know nothing except a generic "a monger place". That first time I didn't even discover south pattaya walking street, I had an hotel at Soi 8, and stopped there, from time to time walked along beach road, not very far, within 2 blocks I always had a good hook. I still remember a couple who drove me crazy at the time, well it was easy, I was my second experience in life with P4P, the first had been in patpong at Bangkok 2 days before.

This time I was much more informed, thanks to this forum. But I must say I had better experience in 2004. Place is going to be spoiled by russian tourism. I saw it in 2004 at Jomitien beach, now it's also in Pattaya. Talking with girls they also told me they were worried about. They told me they are always very aware with them because violent people, and half times they beat them and do not pay. I don't know wether is true or not, but they told me, all of them, I asked them.

Even at walking street. Not many good places I must say. Thai girls here behave mostly very badly, I mean, unfriendly and with a lot of arrogance. They learned form customers. I remember in Soi 8, passing by a bar, there was always someone calling you or at least saying hello. Here none care about you, none. Polo entertainment is just a waste of time getting in. More boys then girls. I saw there a thing I never thought could be possible in thailand: outside a bar inside polo complex, there was a couple of girls of the bar, seated on a bench. They were quite nice. I took seat near them and I say them "hello". They didn't even answer me, they stand up and went away... in tahiland!!!! Can you imagine? I never thought I could write such a thing about thialand, never, even to me looks like fiction. They all look like just came out from desparete housewife or sex and the city stage, that arrogance we all escape from our own countries.

I took a room at Sea View hotel at soi 10, just because I could book it via sawasdee website. The worst service I've ever had, ever. There were no towels in room when i checked in at 3pm, they gave me at 7pm, just to make an example. Room quite big, mine was very dark, big window with the view of a wall. Avoid if possible. Breakfast awful. Never seen a place in the (ex)LOS where none will even tell you good morning. Really the worst place in the world.
The What's up go-go was the only really fun place I found, to my taste. Many really beatiful girls. I didn't feel very good there, none even care about me, and I went away without company, as all other places in walking street. But I must say, what a hell is going on there? How comes you are in What's up watching a soapy show with naked girls and a family come in, a man with wife and even a baby on 2 years old on a pram? I mean, customers has to move because the pram coming in? What am I doing here with a family and a pram? Went away. Pattaya won't still last long time. Baby-prams going in and out from go-go bars? I went to angel witch. Nice place, at first nice show, but were is the company? where are the girls? I asked the waitress, she answer me "not available". What happens to all this bars? They forgot why there are there for, I must say. I'm sorry for all the enthusiastic of pattaya, I was a fan too, but nowadays pattaya has gone.
But for sure such a huge place cannot disappear in one night. Still many girls along beach road, many of them just coming out from pooerty, they thank you for taking them. You better go with this kind of girls, they are very nice, gems, some are really beautyful, and most of them deserve your support and help and let the arrogance of the bar girls spoiled them up definitly.
Sorry I am so hard with Pattaya, you read my previous reports along this trip, I am not a picky man, I am easy going, but this place has become a really bad place.

My first visit to Pattaya was four days between last Xmas and New Year. I stayed in White House Condotel. Nothing to complain but it is not the most affordable place to stay in. Surprisingly few customers. I do not have that much bad to say about Pattaya visit but, of course, being there first time I do not know how much better it has been before. Sure, I noticed a clear indications of Russian presence. I would not worry so much of Russian tourism than Russian ownership of the establishments. If they bring their working methods with them it not a good news for the tourists or working girls.

For some reason I did not get any kicks of Walking Street scene. I cannot pinpoint why. I visited it couple of evenings. It was crowded. I was not in mood getting hammered. I did not get much attention from girls in there. I ended visiting bars outside WS and got reasonable priced LT companionship for every night (and morning). I cannot raise much highlights from my visit. Maybe two: The slightly scary one was when I missed my hotel and walked a bit too far on Beach Road. When I returned there were five ladyboys and they stopped me and one of them asked if I would go to his/hers? hotel room. When I declined he/her? became annoyed and said "So why did you stop to talk with me?" I decided to leave conversation there and walked back to my hotel not turning my head back. Another more hilarious one was after some time from my visit to BJ bar in Soi Post Office. I was walking by another side of street in my thoughts. I heard a cheerful yell with my name from one of the girls who had given me head couple of days earlier. Everywhere else it would have been embarrassing but not in that situation.

Then to annoying newbie style of questions. I am going back during Eastern. How is the season compared to after Xmas? Are there more or less people around? What about weather? Hotter? I see temperature is over 30C but what about humidity? What would you recommend to visit on other direction than between Soi 13 and Walking Street. I think I covered that during my first visit.

I have a rule regarding mobile phones, they must be either switched off or put on silent once back in the room, if the girl refuses I give her 200 baht and send her on her way.
If you allow her to keep the phone switched on there is a danger she will get a call to say "Papa has been taken ill" or some other nonsense.
Keep one step ahead of them, they are not that smart.
